Jim Karlo AbaThe lady was rude when I called and although the sign said leave truck in the driveway the lady said to park it. On the side of the building where Uhaul wasnt written. Since the truck is not allowed to be backed up I had to disconnect the tow dolly and push it up an incline to be straight in front of the building.

Marla GarnerTried to calling the number to verify pickup and also to see if we could possible get it sooner than 4:00 pm on Saturday. Voicemail on phone was not set up. Old filling station is in disrepair with many old vehicles in drive that have obviously been there a while. Gentleman was very polite but not organized at all. They did not have a 6X12 trailer so I had to settle with a 5X8. Thank goodness the queen mattress and boxsprings fit (barely). Will not use or recommend U-haul in the future. I booked far in advance and received a message on Thursday morning that they could not accommodate the trailer I reserved. I would have had to travel 45 minutes to/from Dodge City to get the 6X12. The lack of communication and accommodation is a concern when you are depending on Uhaul. I understand Meade is a small town but Uhaul is a national company that should be aware of their clients needs. No one ever offered to compensate me for not having what I reserved. Throwing in the insurance (which I paid for) would have been a nice gesture and would not have been a penny out of Uhaul's pocket. Just saying.

David HinkleGot to our house 12 miles away and found broken brake drum. I can’t believe it took 3 hrs to get a replacement trailer. Nothing against the employees. U-Haul needs to find a better way. So glad I wasn’t on the road out in the middle of nowhere
DAVID MCVAYIt said it was "open" yet no one was there. We did not know where to park it since there is TONS of stuff lying around. There after hours key bin was non existent. So, we had to put them in a small box that was on a seat outside the door. We called Uhaul help service and they were not helpful. About 4 hours later, we got a call back from the employee (we called him when we could not find a key bin - no answer). He said the keys were fine and he would go pick them up. It took us much longer than it should have to complete the return. I did like the app designed for self returns after hours. That is nice.

The largest issue was this was NOT where I wanted to pick up the truck to start with and the UHaul 1-800 number, while attempting to be helpful, didn't seem to get it that I lost FOUR hours due to the truck not being available where it was scheduled.

CHELSEA POWELLCustomer should be informed atleast before 4or 5 days if there is any changes. I booked online and I suppose to pick up in my town . But i was told only 2 days before the reservation date to drive 45 miles to pick up the truck. And i got 20" instead of 17" . I had to buy more gas. So upset this time.
