U-Haul computer system at this location was sluggish. The attendant had to create a new reservation as the pre approved reservation was hour glassing. A 10 minute checkout turned into an hour :(

When booking in an area where people might be booking near another time zone please make sure that reservations are coordinated within the timezones as I missed pick up for my reservation due to an inconsistency through the uhaul website regarding the time zones.

I was guaranteed a 26 foot truck in Odessa, after being told they didn't have on in monahans tx. I showed up to pick up in Odessa and was told they didn't have one and sent me 2 hours to Denver city. That location was good and they were helpful.

It took 90 minutes to get checked out with 2 rentals. Also, I did get the 2 rentals I reserved in May 2022 for use on June 16 the, but Abline TX location said U-haul policy was to provide rentals via the next open equipment location which was 4 hours away. Not aware of "policy" and the district manager did bring the equipment to the Denver City TX location (which I appreciated him doing so). It's just a surprise that occurred. I would like to know why U-Haul offers advanced reservations but does not guarantee you will receive the equipment based in the confirmation we received. We had a 1700 mile journey and that change of venue would have added 390 more miles and 8 hours to our journey.
