Horrible customer service. The representatives ignored my questions and kept telling me not to worry. It was very frustrating. The main representative also did not explain the charges. He simply just charged my card. I experienced similar frustrations when I called to reserve the van. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

The original pickup location was: Wiygul Automotive Clinic 6001 Lane Dr Alexandria, VA 22304 They didn’t have the size truck I reserved and lost me 1.5hrs used on movers hired through uhaul’s recommendation and I ended up getting charged for an extra hour.

TOTAL SCAM. NEVER RENTING FROM UHAUL AGAIN. COST ME $64 FROM ALABAMA TO VIRGINIA, BUT $375 FROM VIRGINIA TO ALABAMA. NO REASON FOR THAT.

I returned the truck at 5:55pm & the location was closed. Doors locked, no one there. It says it's closing time is at 6pm. It's not okay to state a closing time is at a "certain time" but employees want to leave for the holidays. Plus, the guy told me prior to my renting of the vehicle, he would be there until 6pm. I didn't get a chance to close out my contract. Plus, find out 2 minutes later, he was there! He just locked the door & didn't want to see any customers!

The truck I received wasn’t cleaned from the previous renters. Secondly, it was raining and the wipers need to be replaced as they do not work. Third, the alightment and tire pressure of the vehicle need to be replaced

I would try to avoid this location(002601) specially, since I was renting u haul for a lot of moving even suggest for other, now which I will stop. Surprisingly, there is after hour charge which never been before and I wasn't told there was a policy change when I was signing up. Also they lie I didn't bring the gas back where it was, something I was doing forever. Good to know,so that other will know as well. Thank you.

The pick up location does not have adequate knowledge to help and able stuff to help customers make good decisions. Drop off location charged my card on file twice for no apparent reason. They claim I returned the Equipment a day later mean while I returned the Equipment a day early.

They wanted me to back in a trailer in a tight fitting turn and opening just to drop off. Then assist with pushing the trailer in when the turns couldn't be made.

When I created my reservation this location allowed me to book the 24/7 mobile pick up. When I arrived to pick it up, the directions told me I had to wait until the location opened, one and a half hours later than my scheduled pick up time. If this location did not offer mobile pick up then I should NOT have been able to make the reservation that way. It was very inconvenient. The personnel working here, one of the gentlemen, was also very rude when we returned the truck.

The location is a little confusing to get to, at least in the dark. But there was plenty of space to park. Service was exactly what you would expect, promt, polite, easy to work with - who wants more stress when moving. Well done guys.

It was a good location, but I loaded my un-used boxes and was told that this location does not take back boxes or supplies. So I just lost about $15 in supplies, because I could not take them with me. I was not to happy about this, but I had no other choice but to leave the un-used supplies in the truck.

The staff on site was friendly but the equipment I reserved online for 1200pm, was not available until 5pm. The online reservation allowed for me to reserve even though the equipment was already rented out and was not returned until 5pm. This resulted in me wasting gas, time and money to drive back and forth twice before actually getting the required equipment.

Truck interior was clean, but windshield was coated with sticky residue that would not wash off and impeded vision. Windshield itself was secured to body at both upper corners with tape. Reserved loading dollies not present, was told “It’s the main office, not our fault.” Contract not prepared properly. Staff rude.

They told me that if I didn't pick up the truck a day early that they would give it away, despite the fact that I had a reservation. They blamed it on the website, and were completely unapologetic. Their response was just "Yeah, the website sucks." The photos of the truck in the check in process were of the wrong truck, and the cab clearly hadn't been cleaned.

I arrived at 10 AM which is both when I scheduled the pick up and when they open. I had to wait 50 minutes to pick up my vehicle. Their system was down and they were struggling to manually process transactions. After I received the keys to my rental truck, I see that the window was left down so that there were insects and leaves inside the cab. Avoid this place if at all possible.

The 24/7 pick-up is deceiving. I don't understand what the point is if you still have to wait for the location to be open to obtain the equipment. However, the location itself was great and helpful, as stated, the only annoyance was that the 24/7 pickup is not actually 24/7.

My complain is NOT about this location, but regarding my order confirmation where I was scheduled to pick up from a UHaul closed to my home and the order was changed at the last minute to a different location which is over 5 miles away. Even time of pick up was rescheduled, which caused lots of problem for my family due to change of location and time.

the location itself was a little dingy, and the staff was not particularly knowledgable/helpful. I was not notified that I had a 30-mile limitation on my reservation and wound up with overage charges. I was also not warned that there was a $20 fee for returning my equipment after hours, but before it was due.

Little to no signage for location for drop-off's. No proper location for parking trailers as site is on a hill thus the trailers start rolling down the hill. Nearly caused injury due to this.

This location is IMPOSSIBLE to find. Luckily someone uploaded a photo to google that showed the entrance around back. Got there at 10:05 and there was already a line out the door. Two staff members were playing football in the parking lot. One staff member almost gave a trailer away without a contract. The location did not have all of the products we reserved either; luckily, they took off the costs but it made moving more difficult. It took half an hour to get the truck. Our truck had 10 extra miles on it than was written on our paperwork, and the truck had boards with nails in the back and was not swept. We had to ask to have it cleaned. Overall, a lackluster experience.

The drop off site was difficult to locate, the staff were not professional, and took a very long time to get the truck checked back in. The environment was not inviting and we did not feel it was a safe location.

I like to pick up the truck by 8AM and I learned to do that when I was make reservation on line but that was not happening when I was there on time and checking in over the phone on my reservation location story changed to after 2 hours of I was like to pick up.......why ??? ...???? didn't respect other people's schedule? If you don't ..please tell the truth.......please. RESPECT.

i received a confirmation that a 26' truck was ready for pickup 24 hours in advanced but there was no one ways from the location. Margaret the UHAUL representative refused to agree to the cost for a one way for a local rental. The movers were waiting for the truck and she told me to get a taxi to another location which was not acceptable. she is a poor example of service and the local folks agreed she should have agreed to my returning the truck to the Alexandria location which was extra work on my part to drive it back and extra cost. I expect Uhaul to reimburse me for the extra costs. 7204544006

The guy who runs the place is so incredibly rude to everyone. He walks off, is condescending and yells at his helper in front of people. He also charged me for an extra day because I returned 1 hour late. It’s ridiculous.

The truck had a dead battery waited 45 minutes to charge. The manager was so disrespectful. I rented the truck for 24 hours. The manager called me 12 hours later asking where was the truck. I told him I rented it for 24 hours and for him to check his paperwork. When I turned in the truck the next day. The manager right away asked me why didn’t I bring the truck early knowing I rented the truck for 24 hours. I believe the manager does not know how to read his own paperwork Or he does not know how to use a computer. I had the worst experience there ever I would never use that location.
