I called to ask some question before my arrival. The person on the phone sounded like he was almost drunk. He was talking to someone while i was taking to him. Not very professional not friendly. I arrived there to pick up the van. During the check in he walked away every 2 mins. It took more than 15 mins to complete the check in, although I have already filled everything online. It was the sketchiest place I have ever stepped my foot in. It is not my job to think about how they can improve for the next customer. But I do hope they will improve their service at this location.

The uhaul was dirty, there was very little gas in it when picked up (less than 1/4 of a tank) and I felt that we were overcharged for it. Also the tank is problematic and it took forever to put gas in as it kept messing up.

The rental location was fine. The time I spent on the phone trying to book the rental and pay for moving help was TERRIBLE. The people on the phone that I spoke to were not knowledgeable and we're pretty much incompetent. In the end I was told that the movers would meet me at both location and movers never met me anywhere. This was a terrible experience overall and actually made me question my lifelong use of you uhaul over like competitors.

The employee did not know how to detach the trailer, which U-Haul had requested I tow (it was not my trailer). The employee also took his mask/face covering off inside the store to talk to me during our interaction. The employee suggested I take the truck to another drop-off location 10 minutes away to see if someone there could help me detach the trailer.

The guy who “helped” me was insanely rude. The van was given to us incredibly dirty but was expected to bring it back clean. The service in general here was awful. I would recommend just picking up from a different location, this one was a total headache.

I returned the truck with the 1/8th of a tank it had when I picked up the rental and was charged $12 for fuel. I was also charged a $8.88 rental fee. My estimated cost of rental was 56 and i was charged 88 for the rental. I would not recommend this place. I've seen them do this to other people and now I am unfortunate enough to get taken by these guys. The gentleman wouldn't let me stay and get it checked out and now I know why, so he can add false charges. Very unsatisfied.

The digital checkin did not work. The guy in store prioritized customers purchasing in his store instead of me. It took me more than an hour to get the keys from him. The car was dirty, fuel gauge inaccurate, service indicator inaccurate (low pressure in one of the tires).

The truck was dirty and had crumbs all over it, as well as glue holding the seat together. The man who gave me the truck was rude, and didn't explain the truck at all to me which almost resulted in an accident and me calling roadside assistance.

The location was ok. The person there did everything to resolve whatever issue you guys had. What really bothered me was the fact that you guys had me waiting for over an hour and put a hold for no apparent reason: ran my credit cards multiple times and asked me for the same information 4 times. I wasted an hour of my moving time with no actual reason as to why.

Long lines and no truck despite making a reservation

My reservation was for 8am. We woke up at 4:30am to drive to Portland to pick up our moving truck We arrived at the Uhaul location at 7:55....8am came and went and no one came to open the store. There was us and two other couples there waiting to get their trucks. No one showed up by 8:30pm. So we tried to call Uhaul and no one could help us. We were then told by some strange man that the man had slept in and would be another 1/2 to get to the store. we did not get our rental till 9:30am. That's 1.5 hours past the 8am time! Absolutely inexcusable! The person told us simply their alarm did not go off. Well in today's day and age that excuse does not fly. The truck was in TERRIBLE condition. The windshield was COVERED in bugs. There was garbage in the truck. The truck clearly had an alignment issue and also there was an unbalanced tire on the vehicle. The cargo area of the van HAD NOT been swept and I found it very insulting to read I would be charged $25 for an un-swept cargo area. Hands down the worst rental experience I have ever had! I will never rent from Uhail again.

Awesome experience. Their hours of operation are crazy good... Open till 10 pm or 11pm depending on the day of the week. This location is also a convenience store and so the clerk has to juggle customers buying goods and setting up the Uhaul rental. Even so, the max time to secure the rental was 15 minutes. Every clerk who helped me was also very friendly and knowledgeable. On the downside, the truck selection is limited and consists of mostly 10 and 15 foot trucks. I wanted a 17 foot truck, but it was already rented. One last thing, this location is very flexible in allowing extra days on your rental, so I can imagine that this could create conflicts with fulfilling future (pre-scheduled) rentals. So if you must have a particular sized truck on a specific day, you might want to pre-book at a location with a larger inventory.

I don't want to blame all of the negatives on this particular location alone. However, UHaul changed my reservation last minute to pick-up at this location after I picked a location closer to my house and better rated. Their adjustment cost me about $126 in fees, as they also reduced how long I had the UHaul and the mileage without notifying me of these changes. The man at this location did not have me sign anything, check the Uhaul for damage, or any of the usual stuff which seemed very strange. There was also some seedy business going on here while I was trying to get my Uhaul.

Service was horrible. He didnt connect the trailer to the truck. When we drive the car on the car trailer the whole front of the trailer shoot up. Hit the bumper on the truck and caused a bunch of tears and scratches on the car we just bought 5 minutes before that. Horrible horrible experience. Will NEVER use Uhaul again!!!! And the trailer was rusted to hell and looked like it was falling apart. Everything about the experience was horrible

It was a little tricky placing the trailer in the available space to return it since there was limited room to get it aligned. I'm not sure if there's anything to be done, though. Perhaps setting the facility up with a trailer dolly would be helpful?

The person didn't explain the requirements for me to get the $100.00 discount I was suppose to receive by picking up and taking this truck Nevada. No contract was emailed to me like I was told would be, so I could see the charges. Will have to think twice before renting from U-haul in the future. The bill even without the discount was more then what I was promised. I will be contacting U-haul for answers.

First - I showed up at 7AM to pick up my after hours rental, and it hadn't been set up. I showed up at 9AM and nobody would take responsibility for why i wasn't able to pick up the vehicle when it was scheduled. I asked for a discount after my rental (which had a lot of miles for a one day rental) and was seriously offered a 6 pack of beer. Overall Uhaul experience was HORRIBLE. I can't believe you can offer after hours pickup via website and then it completely fail and i don't get so much as an apology, let alone a discount or reimbursement for the time and money I had spent coming to the store in the morning. Someone should make this right, but my expectations are low. -Jarrin

The truck was disgusting. I'll be calling to get a refund for sure. The cab was filthy and smelled like cigarettes and the back smelled like actual dog feces and had some sticky crap al lover the floor. I laid down paper I had on the floor and held my breathe because I had to use the truck regardless. Absolute terrible experience.

The truck was clearly not cleaned or inspected before being rented to us. The cab was dirty, not swept or wiped down, with a cigarette butt in cup holder. There was a problem with the vehicle that was not discovered until I refilled the gas tank, then no offer of compensation was offered.

This was a convenience store/market staffed by one person. There was a problem completing the contract form and the clerk was too busy to be able to deal with it. Although the clerk was nice and willing to help attach the trailer, he seemed unfamiliar with the equipment and the possible incompatibilities.

The fellow who helped me was great and doing his best with what seemed like a challenging database for Uhaul. I was only renting two dollies and a handtruck and had to go through the same paperwork as if I were renting a truck. This took more time than it would if there were a different rental agreement for simpler items.

I had reserved a 17 foot truck for the day. When I arrived and was dropped off, after the customer in front of me was done I was then told they did not have one even though I had reserved one. I was then told I had to go to another location to pick up the truck I had reserved I could not because I was dropped off. I had to take a 15 foot for my move and make 2 trips. I was not given a discount for this in anyway. My move that should have been in one trip was now two and twice the time and twice the mileage twice as expensive. I hope that you read this and give me some kind of a discount. Why reserve a truck if you can't deliver a truck?

When I picked up the 10' Van I was not given my contract. When I was filling up gas I had no paperwork to help gauge how much gas to add. I ended up overfilling and thought I would get a refund. The man at the store said it is Uhauls policy that there is no refund for adding extra gas. Looks like I'll be a Penske Customer from now on
