The truck I rented was very dirty inside where I was sitting, the floors the center console. and the back was now swept, there was dirt on the floor.mindy L.

The truck was not really clean. The cargo area needed to be swept out. The cabin floor was very dirty and littered. I found plastic bags and an empty soda bottle.Nicholas D.
I set it up through my phone and when I got to the location It made me add 3 different alternative contacts, then they asked for 3 different ones. And I had to pretty much restart my entire reservation over again and since it took them over an hour I lost that time that I could of been getting stuff done. Not knowing about all the other fees as well as not having a lower price per mile after hitting a certain amount of miles did not help. Also not having a number or person to talk to didnt help either.Farid S.
U-Haul has shut down their human customer service and ignores customers because of virus fears but keeps charging for full service. The pickup location was closed and the app that is supposed to replace U-Haul employees is pretty worthless. There are other truck rental companies and I will use one of them next time I need to move something.Dean J.

When I picked up the truck, no one bothered to tell me that if I fill the gas that I used, I can avoid being charged a ridiculous amount of money for a very small amount of gas. I paid $55 for the 31 miles I drove and used 1/8 of a tank of gas. If I knew I was supposed to refill that gas, I would have done that for less than $15. Instead, since I was not notified, I was charged $16 for the 1/8 tank of gas and $30 for a refill fee. This is outrageous. $46 of mine now gone because no one bothered to say "hey if you refill the tank, you'll save money". This truck was rented because I moved. $46 may not seem like a lot of money to a business, but to me it is half of my phone bill or a full tank of gas. It is money that could be saved for emergencies or put towards bills. And I feel like it has just been taken from me. You charge so much per mile, and then just tack on extra fees after. And when I called to ask why I got charged these fees, I was told it was because I didn't fill the gas. I told the gentleman that I was not told to and he said it was in the paperwork, which I do not seem to have a copy of. This is simply ridiculous.Ashley J.

Only when he checked my reservation did he realize he did not even prep the car with the blankets, dolly. Your corp, store in Glassboro Delsea Drive, did a terrible job in my initial reservation, told me two days in advance my van was not there and I would have to go to a store 20 miles away to pick up. No problem solving. Called customer service and they arranged for me to pick up a truck at Joels in Glassboro. Worked out well, Joel even dropped off my drivers license to my house that I forgot at his business.Ronald M.

U haul needs a way to lock the trailer to the vehicle. It can be easily stolen. Also cost is outrageous. 430. For 3 days use of 5by 8 cargo trailer is more than renting a vehicle. Never again.victor M.

We were overcharged for miles and then when we questioned it, we were argued with to convince us otherwise. Will never again use uhaul again if this is how we are treated!!! This owner charged us for 10 miles up front in the deposit and charged us again for full mileage when we returned the truck!!!! Do not use this location....melissa W.

I wanted to pick the truck up at a location close to me. Instead I was called the day before and told I would have to drive 15 miles out of my way to pick up my truck and that they usually aren't open on saturdays but they would send some one there if I could be there between 7-8am. So instead of a 9am pickup I got there at 7am and sure enough no one was there. I had to wait over an hour to pick up the truck. So I had to do a lot of extra driving which burned up gas. I didn't refill it so I am waiting to see how much I get ripped off of now. For now on I will use budget rent a truck.JUSTIN M.
Instead of renting the truck out with 1/2 tank or 5/8 tank of gas, as has been the case on my two recent rentals, why not just start out with a full tank? That way, the customer just needs to "fill it up" before returning instead of trying to hit the exact spot on tne fuel guage.DEBRA Z.
