Speed of online reservation/check in/out system

Kevin WI was quite disappointed to have my original location be unmanned and reliant upon a phone. I got a server error. Good thing my reservation had been transferred to a manned location. The attendant said I could use my phone and do for myself, but again I had a server error. The attendant was helpful. It was very frustrating to have to drive several miles away to another location than where I had reserved.
CHARLOTTE LThe staff two ladies were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful , polite and professional. It was a very cold day and they took there time showing me how to hook things up securely and safely. They never rushed us out even though it was freezing is what I'm trying to say. My compliments to a great team.
Carlo CI picked up the truck drove it to my house, loaded it up and then it wouldn't start. Tried jumping it for one hour. Tow truck was on its way and finally got it started an hour later.
Dawn TThe mileage was recording incorrectly and I am being over charged for miles I did not use. I am awaiting an adjustment.

PAUL LShow up on time. My appointment was at 9am and I arrived 15 minutes early. Fortunately the field area manager was waiting in the parking lot with my trailer and was kind enough to process my paperwork while we waited for the location mgr to arrive. He called her at 9am and she eventually arrived at 9:20. Never apologized to either of us for making us wait. I was very appreciative of the field manager for going out of his way to provide service but disappointed with the location rep's lack of professionalism.

William TThe reservation was for a 10 foot truck. The lady was very nice but called at 9:15 PM to teel me the truck was not back. I had to either find another one somewhere else or change to a 15 foot truck. Our reservation was for 7AM the next day. We took the 15 foot to ensure that we had a truck. at 10 PM when we picked it up, the 10 foot was being returned as we were pulling out. Ther would not have been time to change the truck or have the 10 foot truck cleaned and ready for us. It all worked out in the end, but we had to pay more for the bigger truck.

KEVIN BI returned the truck at 4pm. The location was supposed to be open until 5pm but no one was there anymore. They luckily have a key drop box, so I didn't had to come back. Your webform has a bug, as I selected N/A for location, personnel, and recommendation, but with this selection I cannot submit the form. So I selected No as default, though I cannot judge this for above reason.
Anthony BOn Monday, I arrived to rent a truck that I had previously reserved online. Unfortunately, since I didn't have a credit card, I was informed that I needed to leave a cash deposit of one hundred dollars. Although this wasn't ideal, the lady who assisted me had trouble processing my debit card for the deposit, which is why I had to give her cash. Consequently, I ended up providing double the estimated charges, which were around $80, due to keeping the truck overnight. The next day, after moving all my belongings by myself from a distressing domestic dispute where I was physically assaulted, the weather worsened and it had snowed the previous evening. As I was maneuvering the ramp, I slipped and injured myself. Not only was I already sore from moving heavy items, but now I had an additional injury. To make matters worse, there seemed to be a mix-up with the phone numbers, despite calling the listed number. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach anyone at the towing facility, as I had been warned that they were only available by appointment and not always present. Although not a major issue, I still wanted to stay in touch, so I called the 800 number for U-Haul to request an extension of my truck rental. Luckily, they assured me that since I had reached out, I was in good standing and extending my rental for another day wouldn't be a problem. The following day, I was still feeling sore and could barely make progress due to the bad weather and my physical condition. I called the facility again, this time using the number they had left me in a message the previous evening when they wanted to know the truck's whereabouts. However, they failed to check my reservation in the computer and see that it had been adjusted. Since there was no answer, I dialed the 800 number for U-Haul once more. I inquired about renting the truck until the end of the week, specifically until Friday, so that I wouldn't have to repeat this process every day. While extendung ny retal, I was informed that I needed to go to the facility and provide more money to cover the extended rental. Although inconvenient, this wasn't a problem. On Wednesday, I drove a few extra miles to the facility and handed them an additional $140.75 in cash as a deposit to go towards the final bill. To summarize, so far I had given them a total of $340.75 in cash. By Thursday evening at 7 PM, I had managed to unload everything from the truck. I dropped off the truck using their drop-off key slot and followed their online drop-off process. Nobody was present, but I assumed everything would be fine. I planned to call the next day to retrieve my deposit and any overpaid money. In order to give them enough time, I waited until around 3 o'clock in the afternoon to call. However, when I spoke to a young lady, she immediately displayed a negative attitude and insinuated accusations. Apparently, they had a bad day and were very busy, which prevented her from checking in my truck at that moment. Despite the truck being there for over 20 hours, I patiently waited for her to call me back. Unfortunately, when I received the callback, it went straight to voicemail. The message informed me that I would only receive $3.85 as a refund, and that I had "burned through" my deposit money due to rental charges. This situation is completely absurd and not entirely accurate! I feel as if I am being deliberately robbed of my $100 deposit, which was initially promised to me by the older lady who said she would hold onto it until I returned the truck the following day. Clearly, this was not the case! My initial receipt shows that I handed her $200, but they only applied $100 to my rental. At no point did I receive the other $100 back. I am certain of this because it was all the cash I had in $100 bills! When adding the $200 and the additional $140.75, it totals $340.75. My final rental bill amounted to $236.90. Therefore, subtracting $236.90 from $340.75 leaves me with $103.85 that I am owed! However, the girl I spoke to, who had an immediate and complete attitude towards me without even listening to what happened during my initial check-in, claims that I am only owed $3.85. Not only that, she also accused me of yelling at her, which is completely unbelievable. This place is essentially stealing money from me during a desperate time of need, right before Christmas. I strongly advise against renting a U-Haul from this location or having your car towed by them. Who knows how many others they rip off in this disgusting manner.
Anna DI set everything up online, paid for it online the amount was about $490.00 and when I went to pick it up the charged me almost $700.00. That price was for if I wanted all the extras. Which I did not ask for.
John DThis Location is fantastic!!! Laura Is top notch she went out of her way to get me the trucks I needed. I can't say enough. About the wonderful customer service, I received. I had three rentals from this location in 6 months and they have all been top notch. The truck was clean and drove great, I highly recommend it. I won't go anywhere else.!
Linda LHaving to deal with raised rates on Friday made me rearrange my move schedued for the day. Changing any part of my schedule during this busy time was very inconvenient.l I will probably choose another carrier for next week.

William LI dropped off the truck here with the app while no one was present. Again the app proved to be slow and buggy but after numerous attempts I was finally able to complete the drop off. The grounds were clean and orderly however with all the other trucks and trailers, there was barely anywhere to park my truck.

laura rThey charged me for 2 gallons of gas when I made sure that the needle on the gas gauge had more gas in it than when I picked it up in NJ. My submitted photo clearly shows that!

Jeanie LEverything was fine. The only thing I'd say is try to make the prices the same. When I made the reservation online the uhaul was $389 with the $5 environmental fee, but when I went to pick it up it was $412 plus a rental tax and some other fee which made it $455.
