After uhaul were totally horrible, the people at this location saved our day. The people at exxon went above and beyond to make our move happen. Uhual corporate are horrible people who don't care about screwing people over.Brittani K.

The location being closed on a Saturday made us have to use the internet. Most ridiculous procedure ever. It took over an hour and a half to finally get in the truck. Unlimited phones calls, holding for over a half hour for a phone representative to help us get in the truck. Will never use that service again. If you can't better app or self-service then Ryder or Penske is for me. Ruined our whole schedule for the day.Richard N.

The owner needs to decide, is he a Uhal dealer or a towing company. If you have questions or concerns and require help, then he is only a towing company. If your Uhal gets a flat and you need help, sorry not my problem, call the 1800 number. He sent me in a vehicle with 4 bald tires, and then one blew out, but hey not his problem. The Online Uhal were the best option for help and sent a guy right away. He informed me that he called the corporate office, as Xxon towing in Jasper Texas needs to have his Uhal privileges stripped for putting our lives in danger.254 8.

I was charged $145.20 when I rented a 16ft trailor and charged $30.80 when I dropped it off, which was on the same day I rented it. That's rediculous to be charged for returning it. Also, the return destination that was given to me was incorrect and I had to drive around town to find itTREY R.

The owner is extremely Rude and unwilling to be of assistance. Short and evasive on the phone, and does not follow up. A large majority of the Google reviews on his Exxon in Jasper, TX are negative, counting all the way to years back. I thought I had left an item in the truck I dropped off, he said would check and call me back. After several hours I called again and he said had not had time to look. I also told him I needed another rental and pretty much brushed me off by saying I needed to call another number because I was calling his mobile (what he has listed in your paper work) but he never offered the number, instead he hung up. I still haven't heard back regarding my item left in the truck. I need a one way truck rental to transport a few items to New Braunfels, TX for a pretty hefty fee I am sure and was going to get it through him, but I guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere. I guarantee you are loosing a lot of business with him.RENE H.
Originally told would save $40 by bringing to Kirbyville location, then when they changed the # of the truck in Austin, they changed destination to Jasper without asking and charged me the $40. We most likely won't rent again due to the extra charge, I could have left it in College Station for that price and not had to pay any extra fee in stead of driving it further to my parents. I had to clean out mud from the posts on the light plug because they were all full of mud. Also, no one at this company wore a mask, even if they worked in the office. They were nice, but I will choose another location next time I rent. The Katy location where I returned the trailer was great, efficient and fast.HOWELL W.

This is a very rural area (small) town, maybe more signage and or some insight as to who is representing you at this location could help? Do these people represent you? You're located where they are? When one asks them almost any kind of question and it is not â€œDeeâ€, they â€œhave no ideaâ€ about anything regarding any steps or processes or basic information except that, â€œYou'll have to talk to Dee but, she's sick.â€ Are you guys hiring because of the Pandemic? Take care of your employees, do what you can to keep them, I love UHaul, have used them all my life and I do not appreciate nor blame them entirely but, this is why bad stuff can be said about good companies.Emily H.
Staff was not helpful and gave me a truck that had not been cleaned and had a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. I had ordered blankets and a dolly and didn't realize until the next morning that they weren't in the truck. Then during the move at about 3 hours into the ride, the left hand mirror fell off onto the interstate.Derek P.

Bee is rude and not helpful at all, all she says is you booked it online you have to go online or call uhaul!! Maybe need some else handling this part of business!! I come over 200 miles, had previously reserved a 26' truck and a dolly (which would have held everything I had to get) but when I got there all they had was a 20' truck and NO dolly. I was moving my things over 200 miles away and could not make 2 trips and did not get everything I needed to get. So therefore, we had to load everything with our own hands, did not get everything and have to make another trip!! No fault of my own because I had previously reserved the 26' truck and a dolly!! Now the price difference between a 26' truck and a 20' truck was only like $30. But the cost of 2 trips is going to cost me ALOT more, not to mention the hardship of having to load everything, freezer, refrigerator, stove, washer dryer and other heavy things by hand because they didnt have dolly I had previously reserved!! I am very disappointed and will be calling uhaul asap!! Pitiful and sad that we had to go through what we went through considering this was already set up online at least a week in advance!! Besides now I have to figure out how to get the rest of my belonging because of their error!!!Angela B.

I ordered an appliance dolly that was not there which is no fault of the Uhaul dealer but this needs to be corrected on the website when reserving the additional items. Honestly the way things have gone with Uhaul in the last week, the only reason I would recommend Uhaul to anyone is due to a lack of options. The other Uhaul dealer in town is doing everything by phone and to say they are a cluster is an understatement!Keith R.

Attitude & friendliness of the people at XXON was poor in Jasper, TX. Had a few issues with truck check out online/self service: odometer mismatch. I had a bit of trouble with the padlock on back of truck to access key for self check in. Then had to change trucks for odometer mismatch. The contract said full tank of gas, but only half tank in the truck. Generally I felt like I was a pretty large inconvenience to do business with this U-Haul location. Lady kept giving me attitude like all the issues where my fault... Site also didn't have dolly/moving cart or moving pads/blankets available, despite being able to order online. I'm unlikely to use U-Haul again. Conversely, the return experience in Round Rock, TX when I shared my experience was VERY good, prompt, & had GREAT customer service!Robert N.

I showed up and I was told "My secretary isn't here and won't be here until after 9 am." I told him that the truck had to be checked in by 8 am or I would be charged money that I do not have. So, I put the key into the box outside and tried to check the truck in via the website. The website would not let me submit my location information to make sure that I was at the proper location. When we picked up the truck, we were told that it had 3/4 a tank of gas. When we dropped off the truck we made a special effort to fill it back up to 3/4. However, the clerk at the drop off place said the tank was only filled to a little over half and we had to pay over $22 . We think the gas gauge was faulty. We did/do not appreciate this.j.l. M.

Before my time to pick up my rental, I was told that the truck size that I originally requested would not be available and that the next larger size would be offered to me at the cost of the original. I gladly agreed, happy to have a truck even though the cost for gasoline would be more. When I picked up the truck at the Jasper TX location I was charged the amount for the upgrade, being told that I was incorrect and that no such offer was ever made because it could not be found, insomuch as indirectly telling me that I was lying since they could not find any information to substantiate .what I had told them. I was further they had no way to further look into the situation.Sheldon S.
