This place would not be allowed to rent anything. 45 minutes from the time I showed up till I was able to drive away cause the person checking me in didn’t know what they were doing. The owner of the place showed up about 15 minutes after I started checking in and did not help her worker at all and she knew he was struggling. Go elsewhere unless you got a lot time to spend waiting

My real only frustration is the cost, ot costs almost 3 times as much going from San Diego to Pensacola than going pensacola to San Diego. I don’t know what calculations uhaul uses but it is a bit much…. Again, this comment has zero to do with the location and the person working there, they were amazing, this is for uhaul As a company.

Transaction equipment is needed like a computer , not a cell phone. Very dusty, dirty. The clergy was patient and friendly. The truck was ready and available
GLORIA SINGLETONThe very kind gentleman who had nothing to do with Uhaul did his best to help me and tried to reach the actual person in charge of the uhaul drop off. It took about 30 minutes to get ahold of them after multiple calls and a call to uhaul customer service. When they finally arrived, there was no acknowledgment or explanation of the situation or apology. The gentleman who had nothing to do with uhaul at all provided great customer service, unfortunately the person associated with uhaul did not.
Lindsi DemikNo to uhaul company in general. Very very poor consumer friendly. What a mess on both ends load and load plus extra miles to pick up truck in Lake Oswego…. Had to drive to Sherwood in very busy traffic …. They had 2 months to get my 15 foot truck to the correct pick up locations. But made me, the consumer drive to another far away location to get truck. And then charge me for your stupidity!!! Get your act together uhaul or close your business if you don’t want to be working with the public!!!!

John RabbersOrdered a dozen moving blankets and they only had 1! Back of Uhaul was full of hay, had to ask them to clean it out. No gas in the vehicle, we had to go fill it up after leaving the site. It took 45 minutes to get the Uhaul, they were unprepared and it took way too long!!
Laura McLaren-BelandClose your contract, do not associate with this store. I returned the rental truck @ 1154, and I have to call the sales person to close out the contract because she did not close out when I turned it right there and then And now I am charged for extra day and insurance coverage of which I am not supposed to. I am also charged of cleaning, I cleaned the truck before I returned it. Also a fuel charge, I returned the truck fueled to where I received it from Oceanside. I have receipts. I feel that the Jamie's jamul feed and supply did me wrong with all of extra charges I am not supposed to be charged. I am calling you tomorrow and I am going to the return place and I am very upset right now. Please refund the extra charges.
Mario LuzanoSince check in occurred from 4:50 pm to 5:20 pm UHaul assessed me a $20 late check in fee......and I was not due for return until the next day at 12:30 pm. I thought I was doing UHaul a favor only to be charged a ridiculous fee if $20. I hope you have the common sense to waive this charge.
Charles MoyerRequire all of your pick-up and drop-off locations to provide a paper copy of the contract. The drop location didn't have working internet, so the clerk promised to email me a copy asap. When I received my copy, there was a cleaning fee of $28.36 charged to my credit card with no explanation. I returned the truck clean and after a call to Uhaul customer service, I received a partial refund, again with no explanation.
kurt deeboltExcellent experience driving over 3800 miles from San Diego to Alaska ! The cab was comfortable as my wife and I made a vacation type trip out of it. Sound system worked well , outside and engine not too noisy in the cab and had a great view of the beautiful sites on the trip high up in the cab. Overall good experience for hauling all of your possessions across the country. Checking the vehicle out and back in was seamless. Glad we got the extra insurance as a semi truck took out the driver side mirror along the way - never know what might happen. Only complaint - not sure whose responsibility but the tires on the truck were not the right tires for a trip to Alaska and we had some snow and ice along the way we had to drive 30 mph for hours. I think uhaul should have realized this since it is their industry but maybe they leave that to the customer to request ????? But most customers aren’t going to think of things like that doing something like once or twice in their life. Otherwise I would recommend uhaul over other companies - saw other moving vans on the road from large known moving rental companies and we were glad we did uhaul. The cost savings moving our selves in a uhaul was over 10,000.00 and it wasn’t as hard as it may have seemed. We are both in our fifties with friends and family to help load and unload - but made a pleasant trip going from start to end. After 9 days on the road in a 26’ uhaul - we still love each other ??.
