We had a scheduled after hours pickup on Friday evening as we had to be out of our place Saturday am. They forgot to the key in the lock box and we were were only able to pickup at 8am Saturday. Customer service line is terrible waited on hold outside the gate only to be hung up on.

Let them know to do the mobile drop-off on the app before dropping off the keys into the lock box. We had to take bogus pictures to be able to get through the drop off process because we had already put the keys in the box and were unable to attach the pictures from our phone or get the keys back to take more real photos. This made the check out process very frustrating and long. (The check-in guy did a great job)

This location was excellent. However the reason why I went to this location is because of the poor service I received from another location not having the trailer in stock after it was booked for me and the lack of help I received from head office which really did not seem to be overly concerned about the inconvenience.

There were sticks From what looked like a bush in the back of the truck. I was charged $25 for fuel even though I have pictures that I replaced the fuel used at the exact miles the truck was picked up and another at the exact miles the truck was dropped off. I called the place where I rented the truck 4-5 times now and no one will answer the phone so I can’t even get a refund for those charges.

We had booked in Rockwood as we where moving within Rockwood and was notified to pick up our truck in Kitchener. We cancelled and ordered in Milton. It was a huge inconvenience and extra expense for the KM

You can improve the system with one that works... slooooooow...and no I don't want to hear because it is the end of the month..wtf.! It took an hour to pick up a trailer, I had to hook it up myself in the rain, in a remote corner behind other large trailers... NEVER I go to this location again...

When booking the vehicle for pick up in Oakville I was notified a few days before that the truck I booked would be in Milton. That small change added an hour of time to my day just to get the truck. Also, I confirmed it could be picked up at 7:30am with the Uhaul person on the telephone but when I got there to pick it up they did not open until 9am.

After reserving a 26’ truck I detected a check engine warning light on the dash. I then checked the engine oil level to discover it was below required level. I expressed my concern to the office rep. I was concerned that in the process of driving a loaded moving truck with low engine oil that I could experience a break down and could be responsible for any damages. I only used that truck because the office rep went out of her way to drive her car to the nearest gas station to purchase 4 lts of engine oil so that I could carry on with my day. In my opinion, she should not have had to do that and I certainly should not have had to deal with any pre trip maintenance. U-HAUL can do better to have equipment checked and maintained before a customer arrives. I had a team of helpers waiting for me back at the house calling me and wondering why it was taking so long to pick up the truck? Vince M.

We had a horrible experience using UHaul for the first and very last time. We had reserved a 26 foot weeks in advance when my husband went to pick up the van only the 20 was available It was initially set up to be dropped off near our new home 100 km away but then it was changed to get dropped off at the pick up point which meant we now had to take a second car to follow the uhaul again about 100km away. We spent countless hours on the road and gas What a horrible experience during such a huge milestone for my family. NEVER again will I deal with uhaul and I will be sharing my experience with others.

Booking the trailer was a bitt of a hassle. I live in Halton Hills, and I spoke to 3 different people, one who told me the closest trailer I requested would be in Huntsville. I was then connected to someone in the US, before I was forwarded to a booking person in...Halton Hills. (Georgetown). That person was great, and the experience from that point forward was also great. I particularly appreciated being able to drop the trailer off after hours.

J'avais réservé un camion de 10' pour le ramasser à Winston Churchill et Royal Windsor, à Mississauga en Ontario, mais U-Haul m'a dit qu'il fallait que j'aille le chercher à Scarborough. Ceci n'est pas acceptable. Il faut trouver un moyen pour que les clients n'aient pas à aller si loin -- de l'autre côté de Toronto, pendant l'heure de pointe -- pour recevoir leur produit. La personne à Winston Churchill et Royal Windsor n'avait pas les informations nécessaires pour m'aider, ce qui n'est pas idéal. Après plusieurs coups de télephone, j'ai finalement pu être connecté avec une personne de votre maison-mère qui m'a trouvé un camion de 15' à Milton. Pas très prêt, mais beaucoup mieux que Scarborough quand on part d'Oakville. Je suggère que vous instituez une politiques qui limite la distance entre l'endroit de la location et celui du pick-up. Aussi, donner au agents locaux plus de visibilité sur la disponibilité des autres produits dans une région plus large serait à recommander.

We were bringing the truck back after hours so I got a call earlier that day with instructions. Instructions were accurate and helpful.

We were scheduled to pick up the trailer at 12 noon on a Sunday. I was unaware that the location closed at noon. A young lady called just before 12 to inform us they were closing but agreed to wait for us. She was very helpful so, full marks to her! We then drove the trailer to our destination without incident and loaded it up the next day. On Tuesday we headed back and about halfway home a driver pulled up beside us and told us our wheel was on fire. I immediately pulled over to the side of highway 404 and saw the wheel smoking and then the tire exploded with a loud bang after a couple of minutes. I called UHaul and they sent a tow truck to pick up the trailer and drive it to our house where we could unload it. We waited about 90 minutes on the side of the highway for the tow to arrive. The driver delivered the trailer to the house, we unloaded our stuff and the driver went on his way. We would have been home around 2:30 if the trailer had not broken down. It was almost 6:30 by the time the tow truck driver loaded up the trailer and drove along the 401 in rush hour to our place in Oakville, so we lost 4 hours. I received the invoice on Wednesday and they tried to charge me an extra day because the trailer was not delivered back on time. I called and complained and also asked for a discount because of the lost time and inconvenience. All they would agree to was to remove the extra day we were charged and one more day "out of compassion". I felt this was unacceptable.

This is an extremely narrow and biased survey. My experience with the people at the pick-up and drop off location was very professional. My experience with the Uhaul company (online and customer service) was very frustrating. I doubt I will use Uhaul again.

i ask for 12'X6' trailer to haul my tractor 2800lbs, and they give me the trailer with ramp but the opening on the back door was 60" , than next day i went there (04 may 2019) they give me car hauler which is perfect but they charge me for both transaction, even though i did not use the 12X6 trailer.

First, have staff in the office during the hours that are provided on the office door. It stated 10-4 and no one was found in sight. Second, there is no mention of where to drop off the truck. Once we finally got the right gate, there was no way for us to know how to open it so we had to wait 30min on the phone until someone could provide us the code. On top of that, we were promised that we would NOT get charged for additional mileage, however we did.

I was billed almost $40 on my credit card. No call. No explanation. I made sure the gas was exactly where it was when I picked up the vehicle. The young girl was very nice outside of that but I don't appreciate being billed for something I'm not aware of.

I was scheduled to pick up at 8:00 am and the office didn't open until about 8:40 am. I left several messages at this location and also called the "800' number for support. The only information they could provide me was that they were supposed to open at 8:00 am because it was the end of the month. Once the office worker arrived, I had to wait while the computer was booted up, and then I had to clean the snow off the truck and I didn't get going until after 9:00. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I also noticed that I was charged for gas. The office staff indicated that I just needed to return the truck with the same amount of fuel as when I got it. I did that.

I was charged for two days rental when I only had trailer for one - picked it up on a Friday about 6 pm and returned it Sat around 6 pm should not be my fault they put the return in for a Sunday 7.44 am - I have called but can only get a voice mail and no return calls as of yet - very disappointed in this as well we brought it back cleaner than we received it -

Got charged for fuel incorrectly. Return it with more gas than I got it. Also, when I went to return the truck at 3pm, there wasn’t anybody there. The place was supposed to run until 5pm. Had to figure it out where to park. What a lousy service.

Better organization. If there are no available trucks, say so right away on line or on the phone. Have the tank more than 1/4 full. Extremely inconvenient having to fill up BEFORE even using the vehicle.
