This was not a good transaction and there was no mat on the floor. It was rolled up and took up space in that van that was needed and was too heavy for us to pick up and had no where to put it. Was very inconvenient

Valerie QThere was nobody there to greet me when I turn the truck in and I clean the truck filled it with gas and washed the people they were very rude I called the corporate office and finally got the district manager of the station gas station on the phone he said he would waive the mileage and then lo and behold he turned around and charge my families card $1200 without my family’s permission they paid for one week for me the second week but they didn’t have the right to charge a third time without permission so I’m contacting an attorney

Brian Ndrop off was fine. It was a shell gas station so nothing much to discuss here. I was a bit confused about where to park the truck since it wasn't apparent, but the store attendant told me a general area to park. Could be improved
Jason TOrdered mattress pads and a furniture dolly. Got the wrong dolly and no mattress pads. Plus when I went to return the guy told me to go to another place to return it. I told him no since that is where I picked it up. They finally did it. Was not a great process.

DAVID WTruck was filthy inside and sticky. The windows were so dirty that I had to clean them just to drive it. There were sheets if bugs on the mirrors and front grill and front of box truck. It was also less than a 1/4 tank of gas had to fill up before leaving. It was as though someone drove this across the country and then just left it at the gas station and no Uhaul employee inspected it for cleanliness. I do not care about viruses but I’m these times. Not the best practice.
Michael SI was charged an extra $24.90 because the clerk behind the counter marked the gas a 7/8 full which indicted 4 gallons short. I told her I just filled it up, she replied, that I could contact customer service to get the money back. She also said that gas would cover this Uhaul location to take the truck to a "hub" location in San Diego. Very unimpressed with this location and would like a refund of $24.90 as I filled the vehicle at the gas station in the exact location of where the truck was returned! Thank you, Jim Cook

Peter MThe location is a gas station/convenience store. The employees prioritize the customers there to buy gas and store items. Constant interruption during the rental process was very annoying.
Michael DI used the online return to finish the rental and on the web page it said I should take the truck across town. I called that location and they said that if I dropped it off there, there would be a fee. So, I returned the truck at India Street as prompted, but got calls from across town the next day saying the truck was due there. I had to tell them it was already returned to India Street and that I had my receipt. I paid almost $2000, the least that could be done is to get the automated logistics right.
Shanon SThis location does not accept more than 2 U-Haul vehicles. They tried to send me away to another location. They have enough space on their lot or the street for another vehicle. Therefore, I parked my rental on the lot and returned it using the app. The staff did not seem prepared and offered little assistance. Please update the system to reflect when 2 U-Haul vehicles are parked on the lot as to not inconvenience the customer. Thank you.

PETER NExterior was dirty, inside box was ok. Cab had a little trash inside. Fuel was only at half tank. Blankets we pre-rented weren't inside truck, had to ask for them.
Robert Gdrop off was very helpful, had to go into store even after dropping truck off the phone to check in the truck. I didn't under stand why i needed to do that but did anyway, i was able to give the clerk my info and advisor her that there was not a dolly at pick up even though i was charged for it and see was expecting to get one with this rental at drop off
Joshua OData was all input already. No need to insert same data on a gas stations attendants cellphone. The tech was choppy — interrupted and needed to be repeated three times. Gas take was not full. This was ON a gas station.
LEVIY CThey are heavily understaffed. Gas stations are not great locations to franchise U-Haul. Customers don’t move often and frequently have questions for U-Haul staff about rentals. Web applications are slow to load and cause gas station cashiers to have to spend more time on a single customer when they have a queue of customers lining up to get snacks/gas which they (cashiers) cannot attend to.

Ayala Tno Dolly or furniture pads were provided with the truck even though I was charged for them. It would be good to pay more attention to those details.

Arthur MI spent 40 minutes trying to fill out the iPad form for the clerk who was really nice but was missing information. I needed a second phone number verification. It wound have been nice to have all of this required ahead of time. I felt that this would be the time I would get Covid because we were all next to each other sharing everything. Picking up a Uhaul should be much easier.
John PYou've got to be kidding.... I was there for 3 hours you guys should give me $2000 for the extreme inconvenience, I did not end up renting a truck because your employees both when I call in and the almost non English-speaking employee at the facility are clueless, nobody knew how to help me, I was hung up on twice just because they wanted to get on with their day, I never got to rent a truck it screwed up my life, it screwed up my move, without that truck I went back-and-forth with the car at least 29 times you screwed up my life, your company is completely screwed up, I will forever tell people how screwed up your company is.
deanne yThe location was fine and is completely irrelevant because all the location does is hand you a key. The on-line, contactless experience provided by U-Haul was a huge hassle.

Laura GTurning in the car rental took longer and the person couldn't find me in the system because they couldnt pronounce my name right. Van was dirty in the outside and cargo area. Driving was no problem.
Omar MI don’t want to take a star away from this location for this, but there was some confusion on their part. It seemed like renting trucks is something new and unfamiliar, and it caused some delays. The lady working their, however, was very friendly, and willing to help me with the process. And because of her positive attitude I left the rating at 5 stars.
