I was never given a reason for my pickup location being changed. This effected planning around time needed and milage.
Guy working there took time to walk me though loading the vehicle onto tow dolly.

The UHaul check in experience is very difficult (on line). The site is very slow and cumbersome. I really appreciate that the gentleman at illini auto was there to check me in for my rental!

Make sure the person hooking up transpirt is well trained as one tire strap came off and other was very loose. The strap winch was not all the way locked and strap winches were not in front of tire at all. I probably drove at least 20 hrs when noticed it and found a uhaul. They showed me why strap fell off and other one real loose. This really is not acceptable. They are in charge of securing my vehicle. Same thing happened last time I moved about 3 years ago, one strap fell of about 6 hrs in when noticed. I won't be using uhaul again.. The guy was super nice but not well trained.

I called ahead to confirm the drop-off and availability of assistance for unhitching the trailer from the tow vehicle. The attendant came out of the building as he saw me pulling up, and quickly unhitched the trailer. The attendant was super friendly and helpful, and I got on my way quickly.

The owner of the pickup location did not arrive to open his store which was the same time as my reservation. I had to call and request that they come to their location to open and issue me my reserved truck.
