Originally I was supposed to pick up a truck at 501 SE 164th Ave, Vancouver, WA using online pickup. I sat there for an hour with an agent trying to help me and that damn app never worked. I was practically screaming with frustration because I had three movers waiting for me at $120 an hour. I had to drive to the 9th Street rental facility to get a truck. The online checkout was a very bad experience!!! I heard from the movers who do a lot of moving, that other customers have said they could not get U-Haul online truck checkout to work on their mobile devices. It's a well-known fact among those who have tried. In addition, I tried to use the app to check the truck in when I returned it and that didn't work either. Someone should know about this. THAT DEFINITELY NEEDS TO GET FIXED!!Bari B.

Using the app for ordering, picking up, and returning the truck was a nightmare. I had very poor reception at the U-Haul lot, and the steps to picking up are ridiculously repetitive of the reservation process. U-haul has gone way, way overboard in their requirements for providing proof of identity. I took the required photos, but they took forever to load, and some of them never did. When I returned the truck I had similar trouble, and eventually a worker checked me out in the office rather than have me continue to wait for the app to connect. I wasted about an hour today just trying to pick up the truck and return it. It was a very frustrating experience.Ann H.

Thankful that they had the truck we needed. While not a "at this site" problem, we did struggle a ton with the return process. It was frustrating at best. Maybe a system wide issue with online return, but wow. Made me think hard about doing it again unless there is a person who can check me in and out.ANDREW W.

Not well signed, as we were returning past business hours and in the dark. Hard to tell where to park the truck, and not much room to turn around after pulling too far into the complex. Also. Not a commentary on the owners, but the return website on UHaul would not work. Very frustrating. I apologize to the owners since they had to hear me bumble around for like a half hour trying to get everything sorted correctly, and I could see they were in their living room watching something. It was all good here. I've used larger UHaul vendors in the past and the whole process takes quite a bit of time. This outlet didn't - the process was focused and went quickly. The move went well, the truck was good for our job, and the price was reasonable.James W.

Your remote pickup system is terribly inconvenient. I booked this reservation over the phone and had no idea I would have to sign in on my phone. There's little to no service for my cell phone at this site so everything took incredibly long. The instructions for the process are terrible. How would I know that you'd be calling all of my personal contacts?! And at 7am?! Really the whole thing was frustrating and time consuming and there is no one on site to help.Derreck B.

When I returned the truck at 2:30, the office was closed with a sign indicating it would reopen at 3 pm. I tried the self check-in but it did not work. Finally, someone came out and took manual records. The check-in process took more than 30 minutes. Disappointing.LAWRENCE F.
