Nothing wrong with the location, but per the usual, Uhaul books equipment without verifying that the equipment is available. I requested a 4x8 trailer. I got a call that the location didn't have it so they changed my reservation to a new location, stating it was available there as a 5x8. Okay, fine. But then I go to check in the day before and the equipment has changed to a 5x12 when my vehicle (which I entered at the very beginning) cannot tow a trailer that size. Uhaul "claims" they called me but my phone had no record. Plus, you can't just call someone and leave a message and consider it good. You have an obligation to get a hold of the customer. Voicemail is no longer a thing, people, okay? Text or phone call. Period. Anyway, I called Uhaul and they changed the reservation to a different location and said there was a 4x8 available. After I got off the phone, I called the location directly and low and behold, Uhaul entered the reservation as a 5x8 instead of 4x8. Fortunately, she said they did have a 4x8. Thank heavens. And that was the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick up. I cannot express how irritating Uhaul is about this. I know I'm not the only one who endures this nonsense. You guys need to get your act together.Rachel K.

Was allowed to schedule pick up at 8am. They don't open until 9am and wasn't allowed to rent truck until they opened. Had to wait an hour.Madison B.

The trailer was fine. The top rub rail at the front of the trailer was broken, and there was a damage sticker on it. But as I had everything sitting on the floor it didn't affect my move. But when you rent for a local move you pay a lower rate than for a one way move. The trailer I rented in Iowa for a one way trip to Florida had a Florida license plate on it.p? It seems to me that I should have been paid for returning the trailer to the state it was registered in. Or at the least been given a generous discount. No I won't be registering a complaint, or boycotting Uhaul. but I think that would be an improvement for the next one way customer returning a vehicle or trailer to it's original location.Joseph R.

The can was full of napkins food and corn, yes corn. The the box was tracked up with muddy footprints. The truck was obviously not inspected or at least not cleaned before I rented it. It also kept acting like it wanted to stall out every time we stopped. Not a good experience.Vickie W.

Don't park vehicle in location where the very first thing a person needs to do is reverse out of an alley and turn the vehicle. It was no issue for me, but I'm sure some drivers don't need the added hassle if they were new to driving a longer box truck.Jon H.
The lady at the service counter was rude. We were unable to check in to our pick up time at 7. We had to wait tell 7:30 when store was open. When I told the lady at the counter that we couldn't check in she muttered under her breath â€œbc weren't open yetâ€ even though we were a 24/7 pick up. They didn't have the Ipad charged so it took longer to finish check in. They didn't have the 2 dolly's that we needed for moving. We only could get one. Once we got to the truck it was dirty and there was trash under the passenger seat. The U-HAUL was iced over and not ready to use which is fine. But at another location in town they have the U-Haul cleaned up and ready to go. All in all probably won't rent a truck from here again.Mirayah H.

You need tongue jacks on your trailers. I have lower back issues and struggled to lift and connect and disconnect the trailer. I was very concerned about further injuring my back.Andy R.

It would be easy to miss, but there was a puddle of clear oil on the floor of the truck box, like a spill of cooking oil or something similar. There was also a very greasy area which transferred black grease to some of our furniture and our movers tracked the grease on our carpets. These things happen; just a plea for people to be responsible and clean up after themselves when they rent this equipment.Raven N.

dropped off same day we moved, but after hours, found out when reading document, we had to log in and send a photo to prove drop off, lucky for me, son and his smart phone were with me, I had no way to legally return trailer and found out, you would charge me extra $20 to have human log trailer back in, that is CRAP, extortion and wrongTerry V.

This location as well as the representative was very professional and did a great job working with me especially in the covid-19 crisis. However, I don't get how Uhaul can not factor in extra mileage for getting off the free way to make a restroom break. I was charged an additional fee for this. What a scam Uhaul has.Steve H.

Make it to where the customer can return any truck at their final destination. I had to back-track almost 80 miles to return to where I picked up. Not convenient on moving day! Was told I could do this originally.Nancy H.

One major issue, the U Haul website wouldn't let the store computer interact with it. The process took over an hour. The store had to call the UHaul desk and speak with them how to get this transaction complete. Very FRUSTRATED.TOM S.

Listen to the customer when they are discussing final payment. Moving incurs many expenses and there may be changes and they may wish to settle using a card different than the one on file. You caused me undue stress and money because girl charged a card after I told her not to. "No, it cleared." she said after I explained it wouldn't. "Yeah, but now my other expenses won't. I didn't want you to do that. " She was not sorry. I won't be back.Kimberly C.
All was good except the truck wasn't cleaned after the person that used it, the milage wasn't right, and the gas amount wasn't right. I took pictures and called in the situation to the location. I swept and mopped the truck before I returned it and put the amount of gas back in it that was supposed to be in the rank.NICO W.
