I had problems with Uhaul giving my truck Reservation to someone else. Even after I spent 2 hrs on the phone with a uhaul rep who told me that they would not be able to give to truck to someone else. And of course the dealership tried. This is the 4 time that uhaul changed my reservation, told to go to another location for pickup when the dealer is right beside my business. I rent a truck every week. Still you Uhaul pull the same shit every time. Get it together Uhaul it is just not good business!Tina T.

The business was closed and no one was present at the appointed time to pick up my rental at 10:15. When I called the business, and the owner told me that he had not checked the schedule, and that he would not be there until 1PM. One of his mechanics showed up, and the business owner tried to talk the guy through how to process the rental, but he was unsuccessful. The business owner was then able to process. When we returned the rental, the business owner tried to charge us 99 cents per mile, instead of the appropriate 79 cents per mile. When we called him on it, he changed it to 79 cents per mile. We will not do business there again!Kelley M.

Had a major problem with check in and check out time. Have sent messages to the central office and no reply as yet. Check out time was 2.5 hours earlier than actual causing me to be charged for an additional day. Still no response from U-Haul. Poor customer service. local office agreed with me but cannot change without home office acknowledgement.Thomas E.
My wife and I were bitten by bugs in this vehicle. Not happy with this. Also we had to get a larger truck than I reserved which increased my rate. Not sure if this is how you conduct business but I will think twice before I call uhaul again.Ricci B.

I would recommend this location just not UHaul. I made the reserve online. Received a confirmation then showed up but they did not have the trailer! I had to go to another location and wait an hour for them to open up.Ray H.

If I am "guaranteed Tuesday, 2/4/2020 at 8:30 am", I would expect to be able to pick up the vehicle at that time. This business does not open until 10:00 am. I was handed keys after the paper work - no introduction to how things worked, not asked if I needed anything else- blankets, dolly, etc. They need to stay in the car business not U-Haul.Patricia R.

Employee has a bad attitude! â€œA know it allâ€ and not polite. Dealt with owner ( I believe) when checked out truck and he was courteous and efficient but he needs to find help that knows how to appreciate a customer! I dealt with obnoxious employee when inquiring and checked truck in on a Saturday. I would not recommend this location until this employee is reprimanded or terminated. Truck was not clean ( mud on tires) also has wheels out of balance or something else. Rough ride and bounced, miserable trip!!! Engine ran ok and was told 10mpg but only got 7.6 mpgmatthew T.

Truck was in the very back, under trees and had a quarter of a tank left in it when I got it. And the A/c didn't work at all horriblewill M.
When we arrived in Chapin, we were greeted and updated the manager with our fuel, truck was swept and cab cleaned and mileage was under allotment for our trip. I handed over truck keys and he said we were good to go which meant to us â€œwe were released from rental contract.Jim J.

Chains were too long so dragged. Rubber keeper was also missing. This caused one chain to come undone, resulting in banging of the car bumper and needing to stop on Interstate to adjust chains and tape the closure so it stayed attached. Boarded on dangerous occurrence.Joel H.

When I arrived at the location I had reserved, I WAS TURNED AWAY. I was told they were not accepting drop offs because they were clearing the lot for a deliveryof Christmas trees! I was sent across town to Hometown Motors, not my reserved and confirmed drop off spot. I am very, very, very unhappy with UHaul over this. Someone should have notified me. Unacceptable.Dennis P.

Dropped truck rental off, nobody present at time of drop off. Was charged an additional day after somebody felt the need to show up after 5 pm, 7 hours after I dropped the vehicle off. Will never rent from U-Haul again!!Edward C.
