i was charged $690 from U-haul for a trailer i returned WEEKS ago, now it’s taking several days to get my money refunded, causing numerous overdrafts and fees. Because of this i am now deleting g my u-haul and and will NEVER rent from U-haul again! GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!

The gentleman who helped me in both locations, Salt Lake City and Pinellas Park were so very kind. But their reservation center was rude. I put in my reservation months ahead of time for a 4x8 trailer because we were moving across country and 2 days before I was supossed to move they called wanting to cancel my order because they couldn't allow another trailer out of the state and they said they usually don't even allow them to go that far because they hardly ever get them back. I was furious and demanded a Manager. They found me a 5x8 but they couldn't tell me the weight of it empty. I had to look it up. They insisted it was good for my 4 cylinder car but with the extra 200 lbs I had to sale some stuff to keep the weight down to my cars manufacturers suggested weight. I did not appreciate the level of inguinity coming from the reservation center. They had absolutely no regard for me as a customer.

I did not reserve the equipment at this location. I reserved on October 25th for rental to be picked up at 10am on Nov 12th. At 9am on the12th, I received a call stating that they did not have the equipment at that location. Stated that all cargo vans had already been rented out through the end of the year. So why was I even permitted to make the reservation? You know what I think? UHaul simply does not care about that. No consideration toward what the customer has scheduled or geographic challenges that this causes. UHaul just pushesthe reservation down the line regardless of customer frustration or inconvenience. An absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional approach that has finally convinced me how much uhaul really does not care. Please, someone explain this way of business to me. Please, look up the meaning of the word reservation. Tim at Hitch World was awesome. Uhaul as a corporation, not so much!!!

The gentleman that helped me was great. The issue I have is with Uhaul in general. I had issued a certain amount of miles for a one way. You changed my pick up location which was 17 miles farther from my original pickup location. That added 34 miles and cost me more money on drop off because I exceeded the miles. Poor business model.

Service and product as expected…Not entirely thrilled about being charged an additional $20 for after hours drop off. I used the same feature on a very recent previous move and wasn’t charged, perhaps is location specific but feels very Nickle and dimey regardless for such a simple drop off.

The poor rating is not due to the pick up location or staff, it is due to the lack of pleasant help from Uhaul customer service who was rude to me and unable to assist me in completing the truck pick up. The inability to get help from Uhaul customer service agent caused me to be late to meet movers at my expense. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas at pick up and I was not informed that I only needed to return it with 1/4 tanks. Every prior rental, it was required to return the truck with a full tank of gas. It cost me over $60 to gas up the truck, unsure of how far the gas would take me and I severely overpaid at least $40 in fuel that I was informed at drop off that I will not receive a credit for.

You can tell that the Uhaul equipment is an afterthought at this location. The truck had 16,000 miles on it, but had excessive engine noise (sounded like a heat shield was loose) and it had issues starting (sounded like a weak batter). You can tell they don't clean the trucks in between uses as there was a melted chocolate candy on the floor in the truck. It also annoyed me that I picked up a truck with 3/4 of a tank instead of a full tank of gas. This ALWAYS means that the consumer is putting in more gas than they should have to as they have to estimate what gas is needed to fill the tank back to 3/4 of a tank. This is always frustrating and feels like a SCAM every time. Requiring the tanks to be full (and filling them back up when they aren't) insures the best experience for your customers. Overall, I will not visit this location again. The clerk was informative, but was frustrated that we interrupted his lunch (he tried to hide his initial frustration with a joke).

I rented a truck from hitch World through U-Haul.com I drove from hitch World to my old address at 6821 70th Ave. N., Pinellas Park Florida which is 1.3 miles the truck sat until approximately 3 PM when we loaded it up and drove over to 16436 Verona Avenue in High Point area of Clearwater FL.. which is 7.4 miles from my old house.. from Verona Ave I drove the truck back at hitch World by 4:59 PM which is 6 miles I wanna know how in the hell they trying to say I use $89 worth of mileage at this point I’m calling corporate I’m calling channel 8 on your side I’m going to get every single family member involved in the move and witnessed the truck and how long it sat still until we actually moved the household items the fact it was also returned on full for the gas.. there no way in hell I should have been charged over $150 .. this is fraud and I will not allow someone to overcharge me by false info .. if I have to contact the people in charge of street cameras that can verified route and times that proves the traveling distance I surely will do just that .. by then I will have obtained a lawyer .. I work my ass off for every penny and you can guarantee every penny is accounted for!!!! My number is 727-600-7811 I strongly suggest someone contacts me immediately with a correct resolution ASAP I estimate approx $70 no More than $80 max ... I am livid .. all while trying to stay respectful I don’t play about my money Sent from my iPhone

it was pouring down rain when we picked up this uhaul to move from this location to my trailer @ 7335 79th ave n, pinellas park 33781, to 9790 66th st N pinellas park 33782 and drove back to the uhaul location. We moved a fridge that we couldn't fit in the uhaul trailer that we rented from the starky location on the same day. We returned the truck in a couple of hours but of course the location was already closed. We drove maybe 5 miles round trip and i was charged for 20 or something like that. i called and talked to the location and was told he would look into it. this should of been a short little $40 rental and i paid close to 80 for it. I am not happy. We have rented from uhaul 3 times in the last 2 weeks to move our stuff to storage and then into our apartment which is why we moved my fridge to my moms house. I got ripped off all because of the weather , you should be able to trust the uhaul employees to write down the correct information this is very sad they are making money by ripping people off. i am very unpleased and will never rent another truck not even to move something 5 miles if im going to be charged $ 80 to do it.
