I don't think the location is completely the problem, it is how you handled it with the system. The order was made for in-counter pickup but was executed by you as mobile pickup, so, no one was available to give me the truck, and when I tried via mobile app the option for picking it up was not available (since the order wasn't that type). So, I was in the cold, frozen for 1 hour, trying to get someone to give me support, and waiting on hold on the phone. Finally, I could via chat, and then, without any apologies, the operator in the chat changed something, and then the option became available. Prior to that, I must say there was a communication, with a guy from Hill Auto, who was in the location for 5 minutes, called some number in UHAUL before leaving to try to help me, clarifying that the person who usually is here (Calvin Hill) wasn't available and had no orders to process. The answer for me was just to follow the app instructions, clearly without noticing that I COULDN'T BECAUSE THE OPTION WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ME. (THE PICK UP YOUR TRUCK BUTTON OR LINK). The caller was Calvin's father since Hill Auto is a small family business. I WAS THERE IN TIME, and yet, only could pick up the truck 1 hour later or so, being marked as late pickup. Finally, the final steps of the instructions for returning the Truck were almost impossible to follow, since YOU DON'T HAVE A MAILBOX THERE for delivering the key and lock. Again, it was difficult to do it with Hill Consulting since they were on vacation. I spent so much time picking up and returning it, that you should really do something about it, and at the very least you shouldn't proceed with any charge regarding late pickup. The rest of the service was great, the truck is what I expected and if wasn't for those procedures my day would be very good and your service would have the benefit of a new satisfied customer. Nils AI didn't recieve the dolly I had requested, and there is no drop box for the keys. My beef is more with the technical problems I had with the UHaul app and online. It took me over an hour to check my truck out. I finally had to do the online chat with an agent, because I couldn't get through on the phone. They had to manually check me out from their end

maynard ORent charge was not transparent in the app. For my booking I was shown $30+ for rent, but I'm reality I had to pay $70+. Insurance and other were not showed.
Kazi JUpsetting the truck only had 1/4 of gas when we got it when they knew we were driving 2.5 hours with it. It also had a flat tire.

Ayodeji OThis vehicle put us at risk as this vehicle should absolutely not be on the road. There was an extreme exhaust leak with the catalic converter cut OUT of the vehicle?? Exhaust fumes enterred the cab and we had to drive in -20 with the windows down... this is absolutely not acceptable. There was about 1/8th of a tank of gas. The pick up location stated they were open 9am-5pm. When we got there at 9:30am, the place was closed and no one answered the phones. It was not until almost 11am that we actually got the truck. We noticed the insanely loud exhaust and very low fuel immediately. However the employee literally came to the store, gave us keys and left within minutes. We tried to go inside to talk about the issues and the employee was already gone and store was closed again. The truck was dirty inside with sticky stuff around the cup holders and random furniture legs left inside the cab? It appears this truck was no inspected or cleaned at all from the previous user. This was by far the poorest experience ever with U haul. The pick up location said they werent aware we were picking up a u haul and that they had been to a concert the night before so they werent at the store because of that? This is all completely unprofessional and very unnacceptable. This truck is a major safety risk and should not be on the road until its fixed... this was very concerning. Brett BI was missing the dolly that I paid for and tried to go into the office but it was locked up. Tried calling the phone number for the company on the door, no answer. Left a voice mail no call back. Very poor business. Will not rent from that location again.

Garrett MSigned contract and then guy proceeds to tell me that the battery on 'my' truck was 'dodgy' and required boosting in colder weather. He boosted it to start it outside his shop and sent me off on a day where there was an extreme weather warning. Truck battery kept dying, split diff was failing and truck couldn't handle the weather, turning my 6 hr move into a 2 day hassle. Dude came and boosted me one time with his portable DC Booster. Then when truck wasn't back in time he started sending me abusive texts and threats and told me to 'ONLY' deal with him, not to contact UHaul directly. Used car Napoleon (a Mr. HILL of HILL AUTO, REGINA) is a disgrace to the company he represents on a local basis and I would urge anyone to skip over his barely road legal 2-truck fleet, as he literally texted me back WHILE I was stuck in snow that "ALL UHAUL TRUCKS ARE NIGHTMARES". Worst experience I have ever had from any company, in any part of the world, in all of my 40+ years. "I run my own business, I have a 90k truck, tough guy behind a keyboard" was my favourite response to my request for assistance. Guy is 5'5" and angry, but hey be drives an expensive truck 藍
CRAIG LI will be appealing my final bill. The gentleman that works at this company was a total asshole and scammed me. He also asked me to lie about the gas meter and the condition of the truck when I picked it up and said that I could just return it the way it was in the gas was on him only to find out that I would have a $680 bill at the end of my rental.

Loretta JBack door won't open. It was so tight, couldn't open with 4 people. Felt like something locked inside. Got a help from customer service and they replaced with another vehicle at another location. New location refused to give vehicle. Drove 15 miles and waste my time and fuel. Finally found heavy guy and he helped me out to open that freeze back door after spending 15 minutes. Sucks…. Really disappointed.

krystal bBadest experience in my life!! I ordered counter pick up at 1 pm, but arrived this location with the door locked. The person in charge hang up my phone and arrive 10mins later with really bad attitude. He shouted at me saying everything is online and I need to get keys inside box by myself. How could I know the password for getting the keys? I didn't receive any message regarding this process. He told me I can cancel my reservation he doesn't want rent the truck to me. Actually I have already paid the 45 dollars, but he said he can't see my payment online. Continue arguing l should pay the money and get the keys by myself, he is not here for help! They don't offer counter pick up! That's really ridiculous. Then why I have this choice when I'm applying at uhaul.com? Why there is no single message told me I need to pickup by myself? How to get keys and where to find my truck? I didn't see anything through my online uhaul account. So disappointed to meet this mad, arrogant guy! Except for this, everything works fine. The truck is in good condition.

Ashley HI think this one checks all the boxes for what you SHOULD NOT do for your customers. You can keep your reservation for the location I ordered it or at least inform me if a change must be made. You can clean the cabs of your trucks (including windows) regularly and clean out the cargo area. You can ensure they are actually maintained and safe to use on the highways. You can ensure they are full of fuel at the time of pickup. You can enlist dealers who have adequate parking space. I had requested and it was confirmed that I would pick this up at the dealer which was close enough to walk to from my work. But when I arrived, I was informed that my pickup location had been relocated to this new one (which I then had to walk back to my work and get a ride to). When I arrived at the new location, their store did not open for another 30 minutes, but the owner happened to be there to help me. For that reason I have given this location a good rating. But the truck only had 1/4 tank of fuel and the cab was very dirty inside, I had to clean the inside of the windshield to see properly, and the cargo area was littered with garbage. Further the front suspension and steering were quite loose, making lots of noise and a challenge to steer straight at highway speeds. (although I have had the same experience with other uhaul rentals in the past so this may be normal to you). This location has no real parking for the large trucks, so maneuvering it without a spotter was tricky too. Its really too bad and quite frustrating that uhaul is the only place to rent a cube van in this city, because if I had a choice I would never use uhaul again. Even the dealers were frustrated on how the location was changed without any notification.

BROOKE KI have been billed three times for one transaction. Something is dreadfully wrong. I was originally quoted $200.00, then on moving day the cost became $235.00, and I now see another $100.00 has been debited from my MasterCard. What the hell is going on here?

lee hI went to the park Street location in Regina and they did not have the trailer for me that I reserved. It took an hour and a half to figure out another option and I had to go to another location to get a trailer.
Lonny KProvide easier access to contact Uhaul affiliates within the individual's local community, and country. It is frustrating to contact U-haul speaking to a USA representative, only to transfer to a Canadian rep. Specifically, be able to contact affiliates within the cities that the U-haul will be used in.
