My experience overall was poor. I reserved a 20 foot truck. When I went to pick it up it wasn’t at the location I had reserved it at. Nor was it even Available to me at all. You guys gave me a 15 foot truck instead. Which I had to drive to a different location to get. I was not able to fit all of my belongings in the 15 foot truck. Now this is going to cost me extra time and funds to retrieve the rest of my belongings.

Truck was dirty inside of the cabin and cargo area, I was told that I will not be charged for cleaning, and guess what.... of course I was charged for cleaning.

The initial person I spoke to over the phone about my rental was very rude. Her name was Asia. She cut me off before I was done speaking and got some details wrong that I had spelled out for her, for instance the man who picked up the trailer is named ART not HART and I had to spell that for her. Her tone was short and annoyed.

Rental reservation was for 12:30 pm, but U-Haul representative didn't show up until 1:45 pm. Yard is small with very limited parking for returns in the area.

This was an awful experience. I had a van booked at 1pm and when I went to pick it up Hill Consulting was closed. I phoned them and was to told I can start my reservation on my phone. I checked my reservation email and there was no place to start my reservation. I phoned uhaul and the customer service person was awful. Finally after an hour of waiting in the cold. Some line showed up at hill consulting. This is an unacceptable way to manage reservations. If they weren’t available at 1pm I shouldn’t have been able to book the van at 1pm.

Please fix you system.. I had to wait 4 hours to pick up my track because it wasent returned properly as they said and couldn't gave it to me. Front desk was very nice and friendly. Customer service on the phone was great. I would like to add a comment for the U-haul dealer in park street Regina Sk witch I booked my track, it was the worst ever!!!!! Honestly!!!

It's kinda ridiculous that uhaul have told the location that they can't use debit or cash only credit but on the phone with uhaul I'm told I can pay however. The location was amazing but the company over all needs to work better with there affiliates like hill auto present experience but disappointed in how the uhaul team delt with some of it

I had the uhaul returned to a different location which is where my contract stated it was to be returned. I received a call from this location threatening to charge me extra if I didn't return it here. After explaining what was written in my contract this location made some calls and completed the reservation. Overall a frustrating experience.

Have a better customer service at the stores. We rented the U-HAUL for one day and we got charged for two days. Though after talking to customer care, they have arranged a refund but the experience was really not good.

Air conditioning in the truck didn't work and even though the owner knew about it he didn't tell us. Found out when we where on the road on a 30C+ day. A truck was available on the weekend but the owner wasn't willing to open so we could pickup the truck. Had to wait three days and pick up on a Tuesday when the truck was guaranteed for the Friday before.

I booked trailer online at Park location and customer service called me and said do you have to pick it up from this location when also I did confirm with customer service drop off location at Park Street because they have after of her service drop off Hill auto called me today around 2:52 was very rude said where is my trailer and I explain everything dropped off at Park Street as per customer service I don’t understand why they billed me way more than the contract price ?

The whole situation right from pick up was not the best. I did not receive any email at all entailing that my uhaul was being moved to hill consulting so instead I went to the Uhaul building where I had scheduled for it to be. Normally you’re suppose to get an email or phone call informing you saying your uhaul will be at another location. Instead I went to Uhaul, waited, and finally once I got to talk to someone she informed me my uhaul was at another location. So by then I had grouchy tired kids from having to sit in the car doing nothing with my friend while I was inside waiting to be helped. Once I finally got to Hill consulting it was fine. I picked up my truck around 11:15 maybe, I got the email stating my truck would be at another location around 12:45 I think it was. So almost 2 hours too late.

They charged me three times.. I traveled for 61 km and I filled 15 liter gas before dropping Uhaul at location.. they still charged me extra $76 for fule.. Clear case of cheating customer

Opted to do the "Self-pickup" option that U-Haul offers so I could pick up at 7:30am on Saturday. Got a call Friday night saying that the worker at this establishment forgot to setup self pick up and was to lazy to do it before he went home (obviously worded nicer). I then showed up at 9:00am (the rescheduled time) and I had to wait outside for 15min in the -30°C (without windchill) for him to show up late. Also, I was promised a discount from U-Haul for the inconvenience. I did not receive this discount and was still forced to pay full price.

Make sure your equipment is at the right location you send a customer to. The past two times we have rented a trailer with u haul it has not been at the location we are sent to.

The location did not have the truck available, which I had booked online. After arranging for another vehicle at a specific time by phone, I got to the location and I was told that my reservation had been cancelled, which was not true. I was given a new, but delayed pick-up time, and as no one was around when I dropped the vehicle off, I was charged more km than the actual amount I used. Overall I was very disappointed with the U-Haul experience, and will likely try other rental companies first when I next need a moving vehicle.

The customer service rep went out and beyond to assist me, he lent me his trailer hitch accessories because my truck didnt have on. The store I dealt with was 1808 Cameron St in Regina. I called him to thank him personally. The best customer service I ever received!!!!!

The only thing that I could say about the U-Haul experience was that when I returned the truck to the U-Haul location on Barlow here in Calgary the lot was jammed and it was very difficult to navigate in and out at this location.

The representative was so rude. I booked the u-haul initially for full 24 hours and got a call from service center asking for courtesy to someone else who is alsonlooking for same truck next day early morning so i agree in forst instance without any concerns or issue and when i went there to grab the keys the representative was rude and rudely was given me timeline that you must be shown up at 11:30 or in the midnight to drop the keys so it was embarrassing for me infront if my friend... i am taking your service by paying full amout, i am not asking for free but the experience was bad and that was my first move with u-haul... very disappointed

I rented a Uhaul truck for a move and was warned by many people to watch out because of bad experiences with Uhaul. I should have listened. I explained my route and the renter said I had enough milage to cover the trip He was wrong and it cost me in the end. I also asked for clarification on when and where to drop it off. I was given the address and told to drop it off when I was done with it. There was never any mention of a time requirement to drop the truck. So once again I was the one to pay for this. I will never use Uhaul again. I will not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Keep the truck maintained. It ran rough- there were some obvious issues with the transmission. The windshield wipers needed to be replaced and were quite noisy... Very annoying on a long and wet road trip.

I had no problem with the place I picked up the truck. The problem I had was with the company that called me twice confirming my order and then messing it up the day before it came time to pick up the trailer. The Winnipeg office then had to give me something that was completely different. Plus when the main office set that up they gave me no kilometers and I was met with a 600 charge when I dropped off the truck in Kamloops. Everything worked in the end but I don't feel like the main office had any idea how to do their job. Both the place I picked up and dropped off were the highlights. I won't be going with u haul next time

I called the 1-800 number to arrange for drop off at this location. Once I got there I was told there was no room and I would have to drive way out to the east end. Ultimately I was successful in leaving the truck at this location. I was told that there indeed was a uhaul location only 5 km (instead o 45 km) from my house. So after all I could have saved much time, gas money, and convenience if only uhaul knew what is doing. Each dealer trashes uhaul and each other. I can't think of more unattractive service.

Online the price was given in USD and no adjustment was made to CAD, I was disappointed about that, because i feel i was overcharged for the service based on what was advertised. Furthermore, a disclaer on the site about local taxes would make it more clear. Otherwise, everything was as it should be, and it was a good experience.

Opening hours were announced til 5pm. When I came at 5pm sharp nobody was around anymore. I got help from a truck driver who worked next door to disconnect the trailer I wanted to drop off

We had reserved a truck for 8:00 am and were told at the very last minute none were available until 5:00 pm. After much stress and unnecessary grief, a truck was finally located for 10:00 am. It would have been too late to change to a different trucking company so we were obligated to stay with U-haul. Never again!

Nothing needs to be done. Friendly welcome & check-in experience!!! This location is excellent for out of town clients who wish to take VIA Rail home as bus connection to the train stn is a 3 min walk away.

The rep. at this location saved me lots of money by allowing me time to gas up my truck, after I got lost finding the store location, instead of charging me huge late fees. Very friendly and helpful, unlike the loons at Uhaul Montreal-West who lost my truck reservation, and changed my pick-up time 3 times in one day!!!

L'établissement où je suis allée chercher le véhicule était excellent, toutefois mon problème était plutôt avec le système U-Haul et le fait que j'ai obtenu un véhicule presque 12h après l'heure de préférence indiquée dans ma réservation. Ce type de changement dernière minute peut être très nuisible à des plans pré-établis, particulièrement quand l'avertissement est seulement 24h en avance. La prochaine fois je considérai probablement une autre compagnie de location seulement à cause de ce problème. Si je ne peux pas compter sur la disponibilité d'un camion à l'heure désirée, je ne peux planifier un déménagement de manière efficace, particulièrement d'une ville à l'autre.

When a drop off location is chosen, make sure that the person at that drop off location will let you drop off the truck. I went to 399 Catherine after being told I could not drop off the truck at 549 Galdstone. That women is just rude.
