The issue was with the truck, three engine lights where on, two of them were ABS and brake the other was tire.

william wilsonMore transparency at drop off. I wasn’t communicated that I would be charged any extras at all and only found out online when I got an email informing me about overages. I asked at drop off if the gas was at the right spot and that was confirmed by an employee and then I was charged extra for being under gas. Just a lack of communication led to a frustrating experience.

Alfred LeBlancI was asked to take the trailer off the truck and relocate it in the back somewhere. The truck licked water getting everything wet ,about up to 4 feet from the rear door. That was quite upsetting.

I had to drive over an hour and back to get this trailer, because the reserved unit was rented out to another party. I thought the purpose of making a reservation was to ensure the equipment was ready. Not happy UHaul. Exceptionally poor customer service that will mean your company is now an absolute last resort, not first choice. I expect a refund.

Robert GibsonThis was not the site I had chosen as a pickup. I was told this was the only one in my area with a one way trailer so I went there to pick it up. The trailer had sustained fender damage from a previous rental and the interior had some minor damage as well. The owner was however thorough and helpful.
Gordon GrayI will NEVER use U-Haul again! I was told when I booked the rental, several times before pickup and during use, that I could get a cost reduction if the truck was returned with less mileage and a shorter date. The pickup location was changed and I received endless text msgs from U-Haul for needless confirmations. I returned the truck as such: 972 miles used/allotted miles 1111 / 2 days used/allotted days 5. I called the day after returning the truck and was told for the first time there was no reduction for one way packages. Had I been told that originally, I would not have used U-Haul. You need to educate your agents so they do not provide incorrect information to customers!!!!

Charlene MichelinThe catalitic convertor was missing on truck! We only drove a total of 5 miles and only had truck for 75 minutes, so still functioned for us! The service at Higho was excellent! They accommodated our rental time request even if it was earlier than their planned rental opening hours! The attendant serving us was very friendly!

Shaun SchedlerI was given the wrong equipment when picking up the rental. One of the Dolly's I received was not even a U-Haul product. Equipment was dirty as well.
Alexandre LongVery slow service and no attention to detail. I checked-in online in advance and it still took about 30 minutes for them to complete the paperwork and hand my the keys. As an added bit of frustration, when I got to the truck, the windshield and hood were full of ice and snow. I had to clean it myself. I also had to wait for them to clear a path to open a small shed where they store their furniture pads. I wonder what good it did when I called 2 hours ahead to let them know I was coming and confirmed my reservation. Lack of customer service there. When returning the truck, I had to wait over 30 minutes, again. They do not seem knowledgeable with the U-Haul online system as they had to call U-Haul for support during my both check-in and check-out. No apologies for the wait time either.
Gabriel ArsenaultI was advised that paper on floor of rental at time of return. And yes it was true, but vehicle was dirty inside when I picked it up and paper that was there I left from when I picked it up only to be told by the representative " it's not my job, to clean trucks." That may be true, however it's not a responsibility of mine either. Other than to clean my own mess, which I ensured to do. The policies to make pictures of my driver's permit need to be removed from any electronic storage or on site storage. Have to provide a reference, well is insulting. My U-Haul experience .....I am left very underwhelming.
MIKE SOLLOWSUhaul was very dirty. Check Engine light was on when I picked it up. Brakes were so stiff I could barely push them to stop. The gas was not at 1/4 like it said it was and they did make the change on the paper copy I had and they also had the milage list at a even amount, when it was .3 over a mile. I reserved for Moncton and I ended up having to drive to St Antoine for the truck, and they only opened at 11 which set me back 3 hours from when I wanted to pick up the truck. Over all this was the worst experience I have had with Uhaul!

EMMANUEL LECOCQMy rental changed place on the day before pick up, I had to drive 30 minutes away to pick it up for 9am, the person who was supposed to set everything up for me was 45 minutes late. I was not impressed.
RICHARD J P JUNEAUnot the fault of the owner but the truck ad a crack in the windshield and one of the tire was very used , the service from the owner of the store was great very pleasant i will rent again from that location , that truck in particular will not have been good for a long haul , du to alignment , the truck it self was very clean ,
Emmanuel LecocqI have been charged 141.63$ for doing less then 80 Kms plus 24$ in gas that I’ve put in for a rental that was advertised at 19.95$ a day and only kept it for 3 hours …. This is not helping a single mom who had to pick up a bed but pure steeling from people!
