Sandra W.When dropping off the truck, again the online process did not work correctly. Pure frustration again after a long day of moving. Luckily, I was able to call the owner of the drop off site to confirm the truck was returned. The convenience of using online systems did not work. This added to an already extremely stressful day. Please check your online system so that no one needs to have so many road blocks.

Uhaul roadside was WORTHLESS. 2 hour hold time just to tell them there was a problem! Hello older lady, side of road, severe heat warnings.

David R.Facility operator told me they would be open at 8 am for my pickup. I made a special trip to know where they were located and confirm pickup time. Another, very kind gentlemen, arrived shortly after 9 am and got things ready for me. I was paying 2 movers by the hour starting at 9 am, so they were paid for nearly and hour to wait because of this problem. Again, gentlemen who arrived and prepared the paperwork was great, but definitely a breakdown in communication and intentions at this facility. Will rent elsewhere in the future. Karen D.I would suggest putting jacks on your enclosed trailers. They are very front heavy and with a load, near impossible to unhook.
Robert M.The truck was great!! The pick up was less than acceptable. The key was not in the lock box. Several phone calls and a lot of frustration, 1 1/2 his later we got the vehicle. He apparently perceived the rental was for the next day. But it put me behind and I had people waiting. I did receive a $50 credit but that just satisfied me financially. There is nothing that could have corrected the lost time. Not sure I will rent again. If I would be that irresponsible at my job, I would hear about it. I'm very understanding of the service industry and am empathetic during the COVID pandemic. But this was just poor service. Truck was great and very clean. Gracias

Aaron T.The moving blankets did not have any plastic tag and the dolly wasn't secured. I did not use either, and want to make sure I am not charged for them. Again, they say there is to be some plastic "tie" on them that is to be broken...there was none on either. If I am charged for using either of these I will object and I wanted to make sure I let someone know.

Jason I.I got to the location at 845am. They are suppose to be open at 800am. My time to pick up was 900am. They guy running the shop didn't show up till 900am then at the same time he finally showed up a delivery guy pulled in as well. Even though I was there first he waited on the delivery guy first which took almost 15 minutes because he had to write the guy a check. Then the uhaul was blocked in by another uhaul so I had to wait another 10 minutes because he didn't want to move the uhaul out of the way and waited for his worker to show up to move the other uhaul
Leslie J.Obviously, this isn't the full service center that I'm used to going to in Johnstown, Pa. However, it was the only location showing availability for a short notice one-way 5x8 trailer reservation and was somewhat equal distance. I arrived before they opened on Saturday and didn't see the trailer out front. I was hoping it was in the rear, but my suspicions were confirmed when two young guys came to open up. They apologized, but it clearly wasn't their fault, made some calls to other locations close by. After not finding any, they told me they'd keep checking and would call me when they located one. You would think a U-HAUL partner would have almost real time access to other location confirmed inventory, but they told me they have to call other locations directly, wait on hold and ask, which for what's called a 'Neighborhood Dealer", is time consuming. Really U-HAUL, in this day and age?? After going back to where I was staying, I decided to call the 800 number to also check. While on hold, Hercules Equipment called back and said they found a trailer in Somerset, Pa, which was about an hours drive, but seemingly more, and I was crunched for time. Much to my surprise, they then told me they'd get it and call me when it was ready to pick up. I was surprised and asked for confirmation to be sure. I believe that gesture was way over and above anyone's expectation of normal business protocol. They called after lunch, I went and picked it up and an older (than me) gentleman Wayne (maybe the owner?) helped me out. I noticed the trailer tongue was setting higher on my 4x4 Jeep hitch than the 9x12's do, making it angled down in the back. Since I was traveling back to Florida, it might be a problem. Wayne fixed me up with a lower hitch to level it out. For what appears to be a sideline activity, Manor Equipment couldn't have treated me better or provided more customer service other than if the trailer was there as the U-HAUL "guess computer system" stated. U-HAUL on the other hand needs to refine their computer scheduling system for a better customer and business partner experience and provide their partners with a real time confirmed inventory and not waste everybody's time. Although I had a long rushed afternoon/evening of packing up, I left on schedule Sunday afternoon for Florida, via Ohio. Thanks Hercules Equipment!
