I made the reservation at least 10 days ahead and scheduling never call me the day before. Called the preferred place to pick up and was told they do not have any truck and reservations are not guaranteed even with credit card on file. I was also there is nothing available in Lufkin. Called customer service and was able to arrange for another truck which is another city instead of Lufkin. Was told that it will be 15 ft instead of 10 ( we only need it for a 1 bedroom) and that the gas consumption is identical. They added more miles because of the extra miles to pick up. I was told that the gas consumption is the same. Drove to the location and it was closed and locked but there was an on call person who came out when we were about to leave. She was very nice and advise us to leave the drop off blank for the city so we can choose the drop off when we get to our destination city. The truck was only 20% full because it was a 15 instead of a 10. Had to buy lots of extra rope to secure.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!! This place was a great experience this lady went out her way after hours to help me. If i can give you 10 stars i would i am not the one to leave comments or reviews and i can honestly tell you she was fast only took 5 minutes to check in. I DO RECCOMMED THIS LOCATION THANK YOU HENNA YOUR THE BEST !!!!!

This place has no clue how to do business! They have fraudulently made charges to a card that is not the card they have on file as well as adding things to an altered contract that is NOT the one I was given at time of rental and has a signature that is not mine on one document and the other is blank!! I communicated with the Uhaul 1-800 customer service about my rental and get a text from these people saying they are reporting it stolen and how they have tried to contact me several times and I had 1 text the entire time about the rental and when I tried to contact them “after hours” about the matter by going to the location at which they LIVE at I was ignored and got no response!! These people have held and over charged and fraudulently made charges to a card that is not the card on file and that they were not under any circumstances authorized to charge!! SAVE YOURSELF THE NIGHTMARE OF EVER DOING BUSINESS HERE and ALL OF THE FINANCIAL TROUBLE THEY WILL CAUSE YOU BY MAKING WHAT EVRR CHARGE THEY FEEL LIKE!

The young woman who met me at the location was very friendly and professional and assisted me with everything I needed. It was a great help in the situation I was in that they were open for pickup about 3 hours later than the other locations in the area. Excellent experience.

Trailer lights did not work and tried four times to go and get fixed on trip to fort pierce and finally found one open and he worked on the electrical for over 11/2 hours and got lights but no turn indicators or stop lights and this was out side of Mobil and the person advised the trailer had to have new wiring in the old trailer. The truck was a pick up for after hours. First they had the incorrect truck out. Thank God they answered the phone. Then they gave me a 26ft raggedy truck. Fuel cap light on and check engine light on once we called back they to ask would they bring a truck without the light on the truck was jerkying and pulling terribleness. They informed me to call roadside assistance who never answered this is a very unprofessional company and if I was U haul I would pull my trucks terrible service and trucks raggedy

This location was good. However the overall rental process sucked. I reserved a truck two weeks in advance. The day I am to pick up the location had no truck for me not any other truck. Called U-Haul directly and was given another location to pick up a truck. Drove half hour to that location. No truck available there either. Again called U-Haul directly. Was given yet another location for a truck which was not the size we needed but had to have one so this size was a complete overkill on size and gas. Drove another 45 minutes to pick this truck up. If I ever need a truck again in the future I will be looking for a different company first.

The location was fine but the app for U-Haul is the biggest piece of s*** I've ever seen and does not work when you need it to at all.

It had no signs of life, very little signage, and didn’t feel well kept. I was desperate to get a trailer and there it was in the grass, if I wasn’t I would have left. She was very nice on the phone and the equipment worked perfectly and transacted all through the phone. She was fast and prompt.

The location itself was fine however I was unhappy with uhaul for not having a closer location. When I originally made the reservation they had one in town then the day before they called and said they didn't and I'd have to to this location to pick it up. I asked her if this would change the price she said it would not. However it most certainly did up the price! I am not happy about this

The truck and trailer was not at order location although ordered days ahead of time. The location I was sent to is a trashy place, selling garage sale stuff by the bag. The lady did not have a computer - only a tablet. She could not access her site while her kids were playing loud video games right next to us - probably taking all the WiFi wand with. She said she could try from her phone but could not find it. She finally called someone. I had already checked in online. The website had all my information yet that person wanted to recreate a NEW order - asking me to repeat everything . It took me 2 hours to leave with a truck! But then, I asked if I could leave my car on the lawn and come back with the truck full to attach the trailer with my car on it. She said yes. Her business is open until 5:00 pm . When I came back at 2:30 pm. The curtain were closed . I looked around and she poked her head saying I did not want her help in the morning now I had to call customer service! She argued with me - very very rude lady. She even tried to close the door on my foot. At that point I was already late to my destination where movers were waiting for me. I decided to leave with the truck and called a friend to come get my car. He showed up at 4:30 pm. She had my car towed although it was still opened for business as if it was an abandoned véhicule!!! She refused to finalize the transaction and assist in making sure the trailer was well attached to the truck although I had already paid for it. She called the police and lied to the police to cover herself. I was now without my own car and called U-Haul to change the one way to around trip . I request at no additional cost since my predicament was caused by the wrong doing of your agent. I was asked to wait till the regional manager call me. Well, it never happened on Sunday nor Monday until 5:00 pm. By then, I had taken upon myself to return the truck to the original place of order. He refunded the trailer that was never delivered to me but he was so biased to defend the unacceptable customer service I received and the substandard technology to process an order. The U-haul experience was a very very bad one. I want someone to call me back . I want to know if the space used to store U-Haul truck is rented space by U-Haul and therefore a place of business during business hours where customers who entered into a rental contract with U-Haul can Legitimately expect that their véhicule are safe from being towed like an abandoned véhicule. She showed me were to park my car until I get the trailer. I was invited by her to park my car on that spot where U-Haul equipment is stored.

The trailer scheduled was in poor condition, brake-blinker-marker lights would not work. The attendant was helpful in getting us an upgrade into a safe trailer. You need some type of safety checks before allowing rentals, better servicing.

On the positive side, the owners were very helpful in getting the trailer I rented hitched up, and in getting my vehicle out and in to the parking area. On the negative... owner asked if I could have the trailer back by a certain time. When I said I would try but might be a little later, she said it would be ok because she was on site 24 hrs. Never did she say she was entering it as a local rental and I would have to pay DOUBLE if I was an hour later than the time she asked me to return. I just thought she wanted me to return before closing time for her store. Had I known what she was doing, I would have either asked for a longer rental window OR tried a lot harder to get back on time.
