This location was very nice. The previous location in Newmarket was not so nice. I booked on line an appliance dolly for the next day and I was confirmed that it's there- when I arrived, it was not there - very dissapointed!!!

Hello Tire knowingly rented out a truck that is in poor condition, namely the inaccurate gas meters. They gave the truck to us at 1/4 tank, which dropped the second we left the lot. It had to get filled up twice, once on the road the needle lowered slightly and then drop suddenly. The second time we had to refill the tank, we did it at a gas station nearby the dealership, so that it was slightly over 1/4 tank. By the time we dropped it off, it was under 1/4 tank. I was charged almost $47 for them to refill it less than 1/16 of a tank and also a $30 fee. If they really wanted it to be accurately refilled, they should give it to customers at a full tank. The truck itself was dirty and the automatic transmission could not tell which gear to put it in, it was constantly driving at 4000+ rpms. Amir who works at the location was incredibly shady and rude when I brought this up.

The gentleman at the location was very nice and useful. The U haul 24/7 share idea on the phone is a busy and a waste of time. "All You need us your phone" why have the truck booked and be 100 percent ready for pickup and complete the online check in before hand only to receive more hassle just to get the truck. Phone location and camera must be on. Start taking pictures of license. You need another contact to speak to directly. Why not do that the during the check in? What a pain in the ass. Im happy the gentleman could help me work around your bs. Sincerely a old customer before you've made it a completely redundant process. Also why am I reviewing towing companies I've never used. You guys don't have anything figured out properly. Not to mention I had to travel 25 km to get a truck somewhere else. That was literally a waste of time and money

Hire someone interested in operating a UHaul location, signage would help, stick to regular hours, have some mailbox space available for messages if you're not going to be there, and keep regular working hours .

First time renting from this location and what a mistake, not an official U-hall renting office just 1 office and running many other businesses from there. The car was returned with fuel more the amount stated on the contract paper but they still claim they have to put more fuel. just to mention that I found few other people are scammed like me. The cargo van smelled like a sewer and when it was mentioned to them the representative stated that he washed it himself, vehicle floor had mud stains and smell of manor was not pleasant. Had to have all windows open for the duration of 2 hour use of the vehicle. I do not recommend this location at all, I rent from U-Hall frequently and never experienced any issue at other locations.

Amir was very attentive and took all necessary steps to ensure our hitch was connected to the cargo with proper height by changing the connector head to a proper position. this initiative was refreshing and confirm he was looking out for the safety of cargo operation and our vehicle. Boris also was very kind and hands on while running a very organized store with luxury image, which caused me to feel good about the U-Haul.

I booked a 0-foot cube van with your franchisee by phone. He said he had one but refused to give it to me, saying I booked a cargo van. The reservation was mistaken. Having had no choice, I took the van and had a terrible time moving, 4 trips, $500 gas, not able to finish moving my home small boxes and clothes as planned, lost a night's sleep loading/unloading the too small vehicle, took an hour to check in and get the wrong vehicle, franchisee was rude and mocking. It ended up costing me almost $900 with the gas. I have been a U-Haul customer for 40 years. Never again. If I don't receive a full refund, I will contact every consumer group and post this poorly handled rip off on the Internet for the world to see what happens when you rent a “$19.95 cube van” from U-Haul.

They need to check Level of the gas before pass the car to the next customer and don't rely on previous gas level check mark. Also they need to print out the customer copy that shows the gas level and mileages.

I just drive 25 km with the vane truck and filled 13 litres (25$)gas for make same level tank. So I paid 1$ for each km. It's more than rent cost I think there is a problem

Vultures, set to make money off any lapse of judgement committed by an unsuspecting customer facing tiredness, fatigue and physically demanding challenges. A move is a huge stress let alone one constantly trying to figure out how they will deceive to get your money. Making money off someone who is attempting to abide by your terms but lags behind due to fatigue is the punished heavily and is the lowest a human can stoop down to. Still better than others in the area in terms of cleanliness and "acting" professional. If they like you it's all good. If they develop a grudge, then their facial expressions and actions will ensure they will do sufficient financial damage although verbally they will act friendly. Don't expect any "humanly" favours.

Received truck with less gas than indicated on level. Gas level was not accurate in regards to filling up. I ended up filling the tank completely due to inaccurate data on website about vehicle filling capacity. The van was filled with a lot of dust. There was even paperwork on the dash from previous users.

Let's start with the fact that they gave me a car with an almost empty tank, I had doubts that I could get to the gas station. The technical condition of the car is terrible, strong noises in the area of the gearbox or rear axle, and the higher the speed, the louder and worse the sound.

The gentleman assisting me was helpful and doing his best under the circumstances. The U-Haul booking system/website was extremely slow and giving him errors. It took 32 minutes for us to book a truck as a walk-in. The truck did not have snow tires on it so once I tried to drive up the hill and leave the lot I started to slide backwards and almost had a serious accident. It was very difficult to drive a truck from Phoenix, Arizona in Richmond Hill, Ontario. It is a major liability and made my driving experience very stressful.
