Worst experience I had to wait 1 hour for the truck which delayed all of my timeline. I moved to a condo which required booking for access to loading zone, loading hallway directly to private elevator. Due to the delay, I missed the booking slot and had to use the normal entrance amd elevators. I got complaint and a ticket from my condo. I booked a furniture dolly but it wasn't available when pickup the truck so I couldn't move my closets and dressers. I had to spend another day moving and renting truck which I should have been completed in a day. WASTED A LOT OF MY TIME AND MY MONEYKha P.

I had to change my booking twice and finally found a working uhaul at 1225 dundas st east. The booking experience was worst inspite of booking in advance. My initial booking location was showing uhaul available and just 2 days before I got a call that uhaul is not available and I got rescheduled for same day at another location. After completing the online check-in and going to pickup location the uhaul was not available. Then it got rescheduled to another location for pickup where the uhaul was not in working condition and it was breakdown. Then again finally I got rescheduled to 1225 dundas st east location where I was able to pickup and complete my move. All of these mess by uhaul made me delay in my plans and added extreme uncertainty to my carefully planned in advance move. All of my other booking like service elevators were impacted. Overall I dont think I can trust uhaul again given that I booked well in advance and had to visit 3 different locations with utter disappointment from uhaul trucks.Sahil J.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was going to be charged for two uhauls however there was only one uhaul parked outside. When asked for it to be changed he responded it's my responsibility even though I only booked one u haul. I waited for 45 min while he was continuously serving other customers in the convenient store. He then tried to call uhaul for me but was disconnected. Then after serving at least 10 customers in the store he decided to check his phone again and now noticed the correct order ( that is one uhaul not two) . No customer service at all. I have never felt so neglected and poorly treated!!! He should not be allowed to rent out any u haul in the future. I will never go there again.Eva S.

Vehicle was extremely dirty when it was picked up, both in the cab and the bed. I'm talking about food materials, dirty gloves, a magazine, debris all over the ground. Otherwise, an easy process for pick up and drop off.Ryan M.
When we picked up the store was closed waited for about 15 min (sign said be back in 5) the truck had empty water bottles in the door pocket drove 16 km in total put gas until full and it cost me $31.39 if had known full wasnt actually full i would of put less gas. Had trouble navigating web site guy at desk was more interested in dealing with other customers. I had to get my daughter to come help. All he kept saying to me was take a picture of the dash. Make shift location. Very sketchy and personnel were not informative. I've rented from U-Haul before for similar trips and my invoice for my most recent trip was more than double my previous rentals. With gas I paid almost 400$ for an 8 hour rental which is absurd. Definitely a money grab from a subpar sketchy location Not happy and will look at other options in futureChristophor M.

I was charged for fuel, which I should not have been charged as I put approx 12 L ($15.00) of fuel before returning the vehicle. I can provide a copy of the receipt if needed. I only drove about 60 km, so 12 L is roughly the amount of fuel that would have been used, I don't know how they calculated 10 L additional. It was a pleasure dealing with Viral while renting the vehicle and with William while returning the vehicle. They were polite, friendly and offered exemplary customer service. The entire process of renting and returning the vehicle was done in a smooth manner with a minimum amount of time. They did not charge extra, other than the quoted rate and there were no rate disputes at all. Hats off to you guys! I booked a truck at a uhaul location in mississauga a couple weeks ago, at 5pm before my move date, we received a phone call indicating that the truck was only available after 12pm even though we checked in and confirmed we had it booked at 10am online. The customer service representative indicated someone would call me to confirm the new booking details, I never received a phone call. The morning of my move, since I didn't hear from a customer service representative, I called uhaul and was notified that they did not know anything about the booking being cancelled. I was then moved to another location in Mississauga (a convenience store). The truck was parked behind a dumpster, it did not look very clean and the gas gage was just below 1/4 tank. I have rented cars and trucks from many locations, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had in renting a vehicle. Also, the $0.89 that I was quoted, was in American dollars and not Canadian. I was not told this. In conclusion, there was a lack of communication (both internal and external) and horrible customer service. I was very disappointed with my experience and would never rent or recommend anyone to rent from this company.Theresa S.

Hi I had already booked using u-haul app but when I went in there for pick up they asked my credit card information again (I had already filed everything in the app) . Agent should ask customer if customer requested online pickup. If system expecting online pickup then it will not allow agent to process. System will accept input but will not process payment. I lost 20 minutes because of this. Also it is not clear how long customer can keep rental. If customer requests 4 hours but gets delayed, what is consequence? Agent told me rental booked to someone else after my 4 hours. I was nice and returned on time even though I was delayed picking up as described above. Mobile Picked up a uhaul.. supposed to have a dolly, wasn't provided. Called in and was advised to either come back when the store opens or go to a different centre. Came back very annoyed that we had to do everything without it as it was not feasible to stop in the midddle or our move to come back and pick it up. Upon returning the truck, the rep at the location ignored my concern about being charged for the dolly, brushed it off saying that he'd look into it, and then sent me on my way. The van was really dirty. It had items and trash leftover from a previous customer. This means it hadn't been properly cleaned, sanitized, or probably even inspected beyond the gas and odometre. In the era of COVID-19, I really can't believe it. The person at Heena convenience seemed friendly but inexperienced (but hey, we all gotta start somewhere), but the condition of the van made me reconsider using U-Haul, but definitely not from this location again.Nick M.

I reserved the vehicle for 8:30 am, but it wasn't available until 10:00 am. The pickup location didn't open until 9:30 am. I tried to access my reservation online (which I created online) to see if I could serve myself and get the key to the truck. It said I didn't have an account. Dissatisfied.
