I had reservations for 9a.m. I was called by the person and they asked me what time would I be there. I told them 9:45 a.m. . My Son and I show up at 9:45 and no one was around we had to wait 30 mins for him to to walk over and open up his so called shady Business. I have had nothing but problems from Champaign Mattis Avenue also Champaign University Avenue and now Decatur, IL.. I will need to rent 1 more 26 ft truck and possibly a trailer for my final move to Tennessee. I'm moving 7 of my Family Members. I don't appreciate some Woman from higher up calling me before my last truck rental from the crappy place in Decatur, IL Getting a attitude with me about being given free days and miles when I've had nothing but Problems with every trip I've made she gave me 40 free miles because I had to pick up in Decatur guess what it was 62 miles home from Decatur. I want a phone call from the owner of UHAUL TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER!!!Darrell L.

The service provider charged me for an extra 35 miles that I did not use. I'm not sure if he used it for his own use and passed the mileage on to me or what.Todd S.

Had to drive 50 miles out of my way for pickup. That's a 100 miles of gas for the truck and the person to drop me off I've scheduled twice with u-haul out of Champaign only to be sent to Decatur and DanvilleArt W.
I had pre-ordered furniture pads with my uhaul, however, they did not have any at the location for my pickup and did not tell me until I had arrived to pick it up. If I would have known ahead of time, I could have picked up at another location or bought some at the store.Olivia T.

A truck on a one-way should be inspected for any mechanical issues before it is put on the road. The original truck I rented which was a 10ft truck for a one-way from IL to TX had a major mechanical issue that could have a worse situation than it did and the independent dealer in Decatur at HD Lounge did not want to remedy the situation. The truck was pouring out gas from the a slit in the gas line when I was pumping gas to fill the truck up. I had to pray that this truck would make it to another nearby location in order to try to switch it out. The truck was already loaded up to capacity for the 1 way drive to TX. Hardik or whomever was in his place would not refund me the full amount of my rental due to there own personal loss of finances obtained from the cost of the 1 way rental for his business. That truck should have never left the lot after I informed him of the warning message about the gas cap needing to be tightened on the dashboard. There is so much more to this rental incident that I don't have enough time to post it. As of right now, this situation has NOT BEEN REMEDIED. MY LIFE WAS IN DANGER WITH A TRUCK THAT WAS LITERALLY LEAKING GASOLINE AS I WAS DRIVING IT. DO NOT RENT FROM THE HD LOUNGE LOCATION IN DECATUR, ILShelita S.
HD was friendly. All done remotely. Store wasn't open, even though it was normal business hours. Truck was clean. Truck had electrical issues. Truck ran funny as if it struggled going up hills. Lights flashed hours after Truck was turned off. Truck didn't want to shift into drive. Truck shifted awkwardly going into third gear. No cruise control. Overhead Door was stiff to open and close.Eric B.

I rent had hook owe trailer guy didn't no what going on got trailer two hour after was so pick up quit let anyone be dealer these foreigner don't no what even go on I had call three locations before got trailer where pick up did everything over phone never seen he want pic of hook up.that place was H D lounge out of Decatur IllinoisMark B.

The owner is VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL...has a deaf father who is running place. He can barely speak English..I had to wait 30min to get my deposit back. My money was thrown to me instead of placed In my hand like it should have been. I will NEVER USE THIS LOCATION AGAINTyesha A.

The person who I spoke with was very rude & disrespectful, they tried to charge me for gas, when I made sure I returned it with more gas then I started with. Then he clicked his manager on the line and the manager wouldn't even allow me to talk. I was letting him know that the agent was being rude to me and he cut me off and said, we cant please everybody and this is a waste on my time to be worried about $7.50, my agent is a good agent and he's not rude, and we get good comments on him. Wouldn't even listen to my concern & then when I started to explain to him, he cut me off and said is there anything else I can help you withâ€¦I felt like you didn't even listen to help or care about my concern. Good customer service was not presented to me with the agent or his manager.RHASHANDA W.

The Vendor/Owner didn't even show up or meet me there. When I went into the building to announce my arrival and see what further I needed to do, his employee who runs his other business (Casino) was complaining that he never shows up and that she doesn't know "Sh*t" about this.. she then called him, to which he was asking her questions to ask me, she eventually handed me her cell phone. Thankfully I haul regularly and know "how to" hook up a trailer because there was NO REPRESENTIVE from UHaul to assist. best part is the trailer was bent like it had been jack knifed or rear ended, however there was no other car trailers to be found within 100 miles.. UHAUL Corporate had already moved my reservation from Champaign to Decatur due to availability. OVERALL HORRIBLE experience. call me for further details. 734.740.9711Melissa C.
