Returned to a gas station. It was fine but nothing special. There was no drop box, as my instructions said there would be, and it wasn't clear what to do with the key. Eventually I gave it to someone who worked there and hoped for the best.

My only suggestion is on the website it would be nice to know the cost when selecting the number of hours to rent. I rented a trailer for 6 hours but I might have kept it longer if I didn't have to get to the check out page to find the cost.

It’s a gas station so you’d expect to be able to fill up the uhaul there. Nope. No working gas pumps that take any type of card payment.

Make sure that all furniture pads that were ordered are in the vehicle. I and was charged for a dozen pads, but only received two. The dollies that I ordered were on a different truck than the one I rented so I had to take them from the other truck at pick up. I didn’t know how many pads came in a bag otherwise I wouldn’t have chosen that I received all of them.

The truck was dirty inside and out. We did not get a printout of the contract stating the odometer reading, etc. We did receive an email.

The truck windshield was covered with snow and ice. The mobile check in was a mess. We had a very difficult time. When we finally got help with the check in. The truck was already unlocked and the box that had the keys for the truck, was not locked either.

Then I ran into a similar issue when attempting to return the Truck (different facility in a different city). No code in Mobile App, no lock boxes to be found. 72 hours later U-Haul was calling “where are the keys?” “In the Glove Box” In the end, nothing wrong with either facility. U-Haul IT just needs to post-mortem these items.

Don’t rent vehicles that have not been cleaned and have smells beyond acceptable standards. Worse experience I have ever experienced in many different Uhaul rentals.

I used the online check-in. Once I checked in, went inside for my keys and was out in less then 2 minutes. (There was another customer ahead of me) Everything went quickly and smoothly! I have used other uhaul providers and this is, by far, the best uhaul dealer I have found in Quincy!

It was difficult to find a parking spot and the parking was horrible. There was barely any room for the vehicle. I also got charged for gas which is ridiculous since I left it with more gas than what I was given when I rented it.

The truck was very clean but the motor made a terrible sound. And was afraid to make multiple trips in it. So I ended up taking the truck back earlier than I needed to , because I was afraid of something going wrong with the engine.

My pickup was difficult and the lock code was already entered in so I just was able to n flip the lock and take my keys. Convenient but surely not safe. My fuel markings indicate that the truck wasn't full when received and that is false also I have a photo with fuel and mileage displayed.

The truck was check engine light was on the entire time, it would have been nice to be told and assured that it wouldn’t be an issue etc. This location is very small and not organized. Papers laying everywhere etc. it is an auto repair shop and station but you can’t even see or let alone use the counter with everything stacked on it. This location is not very friendly and isn’t knowledgeable on your products and services. I wish Kanes automotive still did Uhaul they were the best.

filthy, nonverbal, overcharged for an extra day, and said nothing to me, just put it on my credit card. not computer literate. you must be hard up for a location in Quincy, Il. none of Uhaul products, such as mattress covers, boxes, nothing!!

Mike and the guys at Haxel's were get to it kinda folks. They were quick to get me set up and out the door. Upon my return I was able to fuel up while getting checked out and on my way. Also there is a hidden benefit to this location. The back of the station is where the vehicles are and where you park your car while using the Uhaul. Also in the back is the cities gas pump where small transit buses and police vehicles gas up. What does this mean? Lot's of quality law enforcement driving by thus keeping your vehicle safe. Good people at this location!

Mr. Haxcel was really nice. He took care of everything as far as the paperwork, explained everything I needed to know. I told Mr. Haxcel next time I need a U-Haul I know where to go and yes I will go back to Haxcels Shell to lease a U-Haul again.

Improving the online check in. Having to check in with another person as a contact? That’s crazy , when we have to get the keys and from the business and they scan our IDs. Also couldn’t complete the online process because it wasn’t working. A lot of hoops to jump thru when it’s easier just to go in and sign the papers. Next time we wouldn’t be using online check in. Just saying lol.

The truck was filthy inside and out. The exterior was covered in mud, including the driver’s side door handle. The inside had old French fries and a broken acrylic fingernail on the floorboard.
