The gas was at 1/8 of a tank and lied and said it was more., he was nice but was just rushing me out. Charged me for insurance that I didn’t need.

I originally reserved a truck in Waukesha,WI. I received an alert that i needed to go to Kenosha,WI to pick it up. This was one hour further and ~60 miles extra that I needed to drive the truck and pay for the gas. The location was a gas station that had one attendant that kept getting interrupted..

1.) Passenger side mirror had no set screw to hold the mirror in place. It just spun around. With no mirror it is difficult to drive three hours away. Had to stop for duct tape, but that did not work out very well either. 2.) The truck had a severe pull to the right. I could not take my hands off the wheel at all. 3.) Pick-up location was a Mobil gas station with one clerk on duty. Not very helpful and very busy with gas customers.

The guy in the gas station did his job, but apparently he is not the person who does the paperwork. He had to call someone on the phone to do the paperwork for pick up and return of the truck. Truck itself was in great condition.

The mirror on the passenger side was not secure so when you drive, the mirror would turn preventing you from using it unless a passenger would hold it place.

They made it more complicated then it needed to be. It is better to just use a uhaul facility instead of a "mobile spot". I did not prefer the location set up. You had to verify someone I knew of which did not answer his phone. I do not understand why that was needed in the first place.

make sure truck is full when a person picks it up... it was on 3/4 when i picked it up... so i filled it up before i took it back... probally wont see the 25.00 i put into the tank that was extra...

Why are you charging me for gas and a fuel fee? I bought $29 worth of gas at your station and the fuel gauge registered slightly more than a quarter tank. Then you also have the gall to charge me a "cleaning" fee? The truck had dirt all over the floor when it was given to me. I swept it all out and delivered the truck clean when I brought it back.

Picked up truck no assistance on hooking up the tow trailer then I pulled of and noticed the light on the two wasn’t working I went back they didn’t know how to fix it so he sent me some were else for them to tell me they couldn’t fix it I had to call roadside assistance called them and said I had to wait 90 min for them to come out.but after 4 hours later I was able to get to get another

The equipment was dirty and not fully fueled, and it is a gas station. They kept the furniture pads in a back room in their store, and just handed them to me and had me carry them all of the way through their store. I had to lift them over all of their displays and got them caught on their displays multiple times. Then they did not have the dolly on my reservation which was fine but then they didn't remove the charges for it, so now I have to sit on hold with Uhaul customer service.

The man behind the counter was not friendly at all. He was so crabby I asked to pick this up on 39th in stead of on the other side of town. 39th is only 25 blocks from my house.

Rental location was AWFUL!!!! Had to speak to someonenover the phone because the gas station attendant didnt speak english. Placed the order for my truck inline and did not want the insurance. Guy at the gas station took the money out of my account for insurance out anyways AFTER without telling me. No contract was gone over with us. No one was there to speak and go over the truck with us in person. Now my bank account is negative because he took out more than I had in there. Who is going to pay the charge my bank is giving me?!?!?!

There was some confusion at this location as the UHaul online site was down and they could not process us...this made me extremely nervous since we had a very small window to complete our move, and there was someone else in front of us for the same. I have to say that the on-site clerk stepped up! After only a few minutes, he ended up calling the UHaul people and they processed us by phone so we could get on the road. Such relief!

U didn't hold my reservation. had to pick up truck in different location. 1 hr into the move i was called by this location that i had to have the truck back by 12:30 even though i had it until 3 on my reservation.overall a terrible experience.also it took 45 minutes to check truck out .

Making reservations with uhaul sucks!! They do not understand “reservation” , nor do they understand repeat customers and customer service!! I have been getting trucks for about 5 weekends and every time I’m promised a truck size I don’t get it. I’m always on the short end and it doesn’t matter to them what arrangements or number of trips I gotta deal with because they don’t seem to understand my needs and could care less. I had a truck reserved for today a 20 footer but ended up with a ten footer????? Are you kidding me , now triple the trips, triple the gas etc...I asked the lady on the phone to speak to a superior, and she said she was it “BS” ! Then the run around about certain trucks are only one way ?????? Unreal !!! So again a customer renting weekly versus one time a year is more important, whoever set up this biz model has no clue what is going on!!! The folks at the actual dealerships are great, but they are caught in the middle of this ridiculous set up for rentals. !!!! Very disappointed and I’m seeking a better company to handle my needs !!

The pick up attendant had us waiting over 30 minutes while he was tending to other customers then handed us paperwork with no conversation. We were supposed to have a dolly but he didn't have any. After the rental, saw that something called "safe move" was added. Also, our return location was changed by email.

It's not a true U-Haul business- it's a gas station. No one there to help me put the tow dolly on my vehicle. Very questionable area for a woman to pick up and drop off especially with no help and the rain!

This location is very poorly managed. I signed up for a 7pm pick up and had to wait for 30 minutes while the manager who went home had to "verify" my order. I was initially told that I couldn't even pick up the vehicle I had rented online. This was a terrible customer experience, and not only will I never go to this location again, I will think twice before using Uhaul.

Had truck reserved for 9:00 am time and did pre check-in on Uhaul site. Wasn't until after 9:45 am when we got the truck and was charged for 2 rental periods since we went over the 8 hour mark by 29 minutes.

Proprietor was late, causing me to lose a half hour of my movers' time. In addition, no hand truck was provided, despite my requesting one. This meant that I had to make two trips since I only had my mover for three hours, doubling my milage and my gas. When I complained, all I was told was "Nothing I can do. Nothing I can do." The person at the location spoke only minimal English and seemed to be completely uninterested in my problem. Not even sure if he understood it.

Have somebody there that doesn't use the f word and knows what they're doing. She told me to go find someplace else...I had a reservation and I checked in the day before. When I came back to drop the keys off, she locked the door. She was horrible and so rude I couldn't believe it!!!!!!

wasn't a very friendly place but pretty clean overall. The guy who helped me return the truck was very quiet or not good at communicating. i had to ask him my questions about 3 times before he would answer me. then at one point in the middle of the transaction he just walked outside and when i asked him where he was going he didn't respond. then came back in after inspecting the truck for a moment. i said, is everything ok. he didn't answer, so again i said the same thing. then he mumbled to himself before saying, your all good bro, thanks. you can go.

I made reservations to pick up track at 8am and when I called on the day of pick up I was told to come back at 12pm because the owner of the store was not available. I went back at 12 pm the owner of the store who helped me was so rude and ended up giving me a track with a graffiti painting and when I asked to change to a track that had no graffiti he refused yet they were extra tracks outside his store. He told me if I did not want the track he was ready to cancel my contract. Very poor customer service skills.

The note to location stated I needed a major credit card to release vehicle. If that is the case then tell me on the phone. Visa card from Navy Federal is a major credit card. Next time I go to uhaul and they say same thing. I'll go elsewhere. Thank you!

Have dollies available, cheaper prices.we had to drive 20 miles out of the way to get a truck and was suppose to be given to us at one price and we were charged 200dollars more and very little gas

Pickup location kept changing, like 4 times. Online reservation seemed to go smoothly, but next day started getting emails and phone messages galore. Crazy. At pickup loc, it was as if I was a walk- in. Everyone I was in contact with was very friendly, though.

This was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had renting from Uhaul. I have rented from Uhaul many times, but now will take my business elsewhere so I never have to encounter an experience like this again. It looks like this location only has 1 truck, and I rented it. No one knew how to do the paperwork, and seemed extremely inconvenienced by me renting the equipment from them. When I came to pick up the truck at my scheduled time, the truck was parked in back covered in snow and ice. In below zero temperatures I started it up and had to spend about 20 minutes de-icing it before I could drive it. Then I had to back it out of the snowbank that it was buried in. When I came to return the truck, the girl behind the register yelled an explicative and complained to her friend that was sitting behind the register with her. As she was trying to get me checked out, there was a problem and the system kept trying to charge me thousands of dollars. She couldn't figure it out, and went about to helping other costumers for about 15-20min. After a while she figured out that she had entered an extra digit in the mileage and I was eventually charged the correct amount in the end. All in all, this experience made an already stressful day of moving even worse. I would most definitely recommend not renting from this location, and also not renting from Uhaul if they allow places like this to carry their name.

We rented a truck 2 blocks from our house then at the last minute had to drive 5 miles to and from another place, adding mileage and time to our move. The place we rented from was dirty. The man who took care of us was tottaly incompetent. He could barely read the computer screen and his communication skills were terrible. He was the only person in the building which meant he left it unattended to go check on the truck. It took us 45 minutes to get the truck and we were his only customer when we got there. We have used U-Haul several times in the past including cross country moves, but never again. It was am awful experience.

I called Uhaul on Friday afternoon to reserve a 14' truck. I was told a price and the miles that I needed and was told to pick up he truck from the Mobile location on Sheridan Road. Little did I know that all of this would occur... I spent over 45 minutes in this location just to pick up the Uhaul because of miscommunication from Uhaul and Mobile. It took 3 phone calls from my end to try and get what I was told. I waited for them to give me the price and mileage that I was told over the phone the previous day. When I went to return the Uhaul 8 hours later I dealt with a worker who had not the slightest clue what she was doing to return a Uhaul to that gas station. She was rude, and I waited there for AN HOUR just to return the truck!!! She could not figure out the computer system, and I was left to fend for myself by calling the uhaul location on 39th avenue who lead me to the customer support center. After an hour of waiting she told me I was fine to leave, but she could not print me a receipt because she did not know how to work the printer as well. The lack of communication between employees and locations was terrible. Everything was so unorganized and it wasted 2 hours of my day. I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again or even use this Mobile location to get gas or any merchandise for that matter.
