I refilled the gas tank back to a quarter of the tank and was charged almost $50 for gas after I dropped off the vehicle. They did not check the fuel gauge while I was on-site, only after I left.thomas M.

The pickup process was very difficult. I reserved a truck to pick up, but when I arrived, the location was closed. I called the location's phone number and they picked up but advised I had to call Uhaul to receive the code to get the keys from the after-hours box. I was then directed to my email to pick up the vehicle via the electronic log-in process. It took 30 minutes to complete the process, including having the agent call one of my contacts to ensure I was who I said I was. The phone numbers I entered into the website for my contacts was rejected by the website and it was difficult on the person who was helping me on the website. It was very difficult and frustrating. The pickup process needs to be worked on and communicated more effectively. I would not recommend anyone use Uhaul with the current system.Scott C.

The truck was riddled with dents and large scratches, but the inside was clean. When we dropped it off at exactly where the tank was at pickup, the guy said we're going to be charged for gas because it's not full. He said that's â€œU-Haul's rulesâ€. I happened to take a picture of the tank level before we left and he backed off of that statement after I showed it to him and told him he can tell U-Haul what he wants, but we have proof of how much gas was already in there.Ty E.

The truck was an hour and a half late for pick up and I was guaranteed a truck at 11am. Didn't actually get it until 1pm. I am pissed off and will never rent again. I paid full price and had the truck less than 5 hours. Needless to say I will tell all my friends to find someone with a trailer before they rent a damn uhaul.Nicholas E.
Have better signage outside. It was a bit difficult to find if it wasn't for the uhaul trucks parked right next to it otherwise I wouldn't have passed it up.!!!Carlos M.
The owner of the business deceived me and told me I could bring the truck back at 8pm without paying for an additional day, then he called me the day of and HASSLED me and told me I had to bring it back because another customer needed it, even though we mutually agreed on an 8pm drop off without an additional day charge because I told him up front. Then, when I picked up the truck, it was missing almost 1/4 a gallon of gas, which is fine, HOWEVER, when I dropped the truck off with a FULL tank of gas, he charged me for 2 gallons of gas! I would never recommend this place again. I also looked up the shop he's listed out of (Happy Tired Houston) and he has some terrible reviews. Literally would not ever recommend him again. The only issue I had was when I talked to your rep at your contact number. I was trying to find out about the drop off place and the first place was closed and not set up for 24 hour drop off. I had to take the truck to a different location which was way out of the way. I couldn't find it had to call back finally got to the place to drop off the truck. That put me a few miles over and cost me over 15.00 which wasn't my fault. That's my only issue.pam C.
Happy Tires was nice and friendly. Truck was fine and I felt they were nice for the rental although I think we had a miscommunication on the length of the rental time (2days instead of 1 day) initially. But after they called we got it straight. I'd certainly use them again, plus it was easy to get in and out from their location (and get gas before returning).Daniel A.
Vehicle is all banged up on exterior with scrapes, dents, and patches. Interior had taped up seats, holes in seats and had muddy floors. Overall far inferior to other truck rental companies I have used.Bradley K.
Don't have U-haul dealers who store their trailers in muddy lots and have no one there to assist with getting the trailer and hooking it up. Service was so poor at 2521 FM 2920 in Tomball, TX that I left to find a trailer elsewhere. I find it difficult to believe you have them as a dealer.Robert B.

Have the EXACT trailer that I reserved available. I reserved a 6x12 open utility trailer. All you had was a 6x12 BOX trailer. The inside space was 6 inches too short.... your your attendant me you don't have the open trailers... WRONG! My friend rented one from you last weekend! We managed, but it was far more difficult than necessary.Lynda M.

I was only given 12 blankets. Instead of the 24 I paid for. The gentleman said he annotated it on the contract but I don't see it any where. I still paid for them. I only hope I am not charged to replace them.David N.

I called to extend my rental for a one way rental with 54 miles included. I was told it was an additional $40/day. My husband inquired on return location and was told it made no difference. Now I'm being charged for mileage when on 193 miles. 54 miles/day should have been included per my contract. I plan to dispute these charges as your customer service people did not explain charges properly.Kimberly T.

Owner was nice and responsive. Truck was 3 plus gallons low on engine coolant, coolant light was on when I started the truck. Cab floor was dirty and owner agreed to clean it but I didn't have time to wait after coolant was added. When I arrived at Happy Tire to pick up my trailer I reserved to move furniture from one location to another with two friends who are Hispanic (I am white), I felt as if I was being profiled and they did not really want to give me the trailer. The manager of the facility questioned me on where I was taking the trailer, wanted to know how long I would have it for, and expected two references for me to leave with the trailer. I made a reservation with my credit card for a trailer for six hours so I could move, and even purchased the insurance to protect my things and the trailer, but was left feeling as if this location was worried I would steal their trailer or use it to do something illegal. After this experience I doubt I will do any sort of business with another uhaul facility,Tiana R.

Nothing bad about this location, the guy was nice and the truck was clean. On the other hand, the rental process with UHaul is a joke. I know I was there for 30 minutes. I had to basically repeat all of the information that was contained in the online reservation. I needed more reference contact information for UHaul (as a returning customer) than I needed for a recent auto loan. Technology is supposed to make life easier, but uploading pictures of drivers license, the odometer and fuel gauge with a weak cellular signal and then more pictures at the end, which I had to try to negotiate with a 3% charged phone. Bring a cigarette lighter charge adapter because the truck doesn't have a USB port to keep your phone charged. Additionally, UHaul only allowed 177 miles for this rental - it was 10 miles from the rental location to my home and 161 miles from home to our destination. After driving to lunch, refueling and the trip from storage location to drop-off, I was 18 miles over. How petty can the UHaul reservation system be? I understand not wanting unnecessary mileage on your vehicles, but "including" insufficient miles in the rental quote is deceptive pricing. I have two kids remaining in college, so I know there will be more moves to come - is this really the way UHaul expects to develop customer loyalty and grow/maintain their business?Michael R.
The website as well as the 1-800-go-uhaul did not have this locations actual inventory. I was told the trailer would not be available until 6:30pm and no other location in a 50 mile radius had one but this location had the trailer sitting there unused for 3 days!
