Terry W.The one day truck rented had a broken bar that had been taped to keep the ramp functioning… I jarred my hip push the ramp in, due to the bar catching a rail, stopping the ramp from closing… I reported the problem to an U-Haul associate immediately upon my arrival to the property before the return inspection began… It kind of inconvenienced me due to me having to figure out how to get the ramp to close… I have a video and a picture of the issue for management purposes… It needs to be welded back together before someone hurts themselves… It happened with the 17' one day truck rental… I spent nearly 3 hrs trying to figure the problem out… I really didn't want to bandage the issue but that was the only way to get the ramp closed… I smashed my finger and burst the cuticle area that bleed for awhile… Please inspect every inch of these vehicles before renting them out because I could've been the person that would push the issue… I'm just overly grateful for the team y'all hired!!! They were super fun, friendly and genuine!!! Thanks for the rental!!!
John L.My return was horrible. The representative that I returned to said I didn't pay when I know I did pay a certain amount up front. Then it was showing like I didn't pay at all. Hope I never have to use Uhaul again.

alfred R.The truck was very nasty, and the windshield was so dirty I was barely able to see out of it. And I think the Transmission is going out in the truck because it was having a hard time shifting all in all it was the worse truck, I have ever gotten from U-Haul.
Lisa F.I gave it an Below Average for the UHAUL web product. In trying to return the truck through the UHAUL app it was gut wrenching. I had to call customer service and Cst Ronald Drake was phenomenal in helping me accomplish a task that should not have been such a chore. Fix the UHAUL app , the locating of my phone signal was the worst part. And secondly, when taking a pic of the gas hand and odometer reading the app kept giving me the run around saying my memory was too low and the process didn't go through. It was crunch time and I needed this rental returned ASAP or I was in jeopardy of having another day added to my ticket. But Ronald came through in the clutch and saved the day from UHAUL receiving a POOR review.
Hollis H.The vehicles need to be cleaned, and the vehicle needs to be checked and serviced before renting it out to the public. The Check Engine/Service Engine sign was on and the tire pressure signal was also on, when I received the vehicle. The inside was filthy, to where my son and I did not want to touch anything at all. This was my worst experience with U-Haul.

Charles M.Hamilton location was great, lady working did all she could to get us taken care of. Will not recommend your 5375 Pepperchase Dr, Southaven, MS 38671 location. Got there 30 minutes late and lady told us UHaul doesn't play and canceled our reservations. Employees were too busy eating their Wendy's while we were there. Hamilton location had someone late, she called person to see if they still needed reservation. When they said no, we were able to rent truck. UHaul needs more employees like the lady at Hamilton. She went above and far exceeded the efforts of employees at Pepperchase location. Pepperchase needs training on who (customers) helps pay their wages. They were rude and not helpful. Thankful for your Hamilton location, because of her extra efforts; we completed our move.

Now I am an expert because of the patience, demonstration and information received by the U Haul attendant (who had done this probably a million times). The office is always clean and organized with options to help a move and the inside storage is very safe!

Lemuel J.There needs to be a number renters can call THAT CONNECTS TO A LIVE PERSON. Each time I attempted to call with a question, I got an automated system asking me to enter a remote code. I had a rental truck, not a storage space. The link I was sent shortly after renting the truck expired quickly. My truck had VERY poor wheel alignment, horrific fuel economy, an uncomfortable drive, as if it hadn't been serviced in months, contained no furniture/appliance pads, there was no spare or jack, and the heat and ac did not work properly. What I did not like is at the time I requested a rental, I asked for a different truck, which there were 2 on the lot. The person who assisted me said both trucks were rented already. When I returned my rental, both trucks I wanted were still sitting in the exact same spot. It made me suspicious that I was deliberately given a poor quality rental. Both prior and after rental return, I was not offered any discounts of any sort to give me an incentive to want to rent again. I paid cash for my rental. Usually, rental offices will offer some kind of present or future discount, especially if you pay with cash or a credit card with a high limit, unlimited local miles, 25% off next rental, etc. I went away with the feeling I was an annoyance. I will NOT be renting from this location again.
