I had several difficulties with the Uhaul App and it's unlikely I would have been able to pick up and drop the truck off outside normal business hours. The app didn't "approve" the reservation to begin with. The lockbox for the key was empty because the locks had iced shut and the store owner was keeping the keys inside. The app couldn't recognize my odometer reading images upon drop-off, so I couldn't complete the drop off automatically. The store owner with the Uhaul drop box was very helpful however, and I managed to get everything squared away by going into the store and speaking with him.Patrick W.

I prefer the Blaine location, this one was very unprofessional. Entry door was locked when I arrived. Walked around outside until I finally found someone. Went inside and he wanted me to check in on my phone. I wanted to add a driver and he said don't worry about it. The truck was dirty inside. It wasn't what I expect from a uhaul location. We needed the truck at 9am as we were on a time crunch, when we went to pick it up they were unable to load our order and it took over 40 minutes to get the keys. I received an additional 30 dollar charge after dropping the truck off despite having added 30 dollars in gas. Don't plan on reserving a uHaul from this location until at least an hour after they're open.Alan O.

It was an after hours drop. The location was in poor condition. The neighboring bar was very loud and raucous. I left before completing the online after hours drop because of numerous drug deals and loud dealers yelling to anyone passing about "what we got". I will never use this location again. I'm sure the business was fine but the location was not acceptable.Leonard M.

The only problem is I requested the UHaul location in Brooklyn Park that was 3 miles away from my location and some how they transferred me to a location that was an additional 30 minutes away in the city of Minneapolis. It was way out of the way and quite an inconvenience when they had the same truck at the Brooklyn Park location.Chaun B.

The people here are very very nice and the man who helped me was really helpful and nice. I would recommend this business absolutely. The office is kind of a dive, though, and it was in a sketchy part of town. My wife got harassed by passers by while she was waiting for me to complete the rental. I think if they cleaned up their office a bit and provided a waiting area and maybe better signage, this would be a better location.Joe A.

Should have asked me about the trailer. I left Mpls at 1pm with all lights working. As I approached Ames Iowa the running lights would not turn on. Pulled into and Ames Uhaul(Duff ave) spent 1 1/2 hours trouble shooting broken wire which shorted and blew the fuse on the truck. Super people at Ames!! The trailer running lights started blinking about Denver area and eventually stopped working altogether. I have an enclosed trailer but wanted the tandem axle and reliability of Uhaul. May not use Uhaul again the wiring on this trailer should have been replaced a long time agoâ€"keep you equipment updated!Carl S.

I booked the truck at a different location and was only notified of the change by an email without any reference to a change in location. The email went out after 5PM the night before my move. There should really be more of a notification, it was extremely inconvenient. Please change your policies on this. Seriously, I can't stress this enough. The email notification just had the subject "Your U-Haul order" so I didn't notice the address had changed.Vanessa G.
The person at the location was a very good person. However, I am disappointed that Uhaul changed the location, two days before I was to pick up the trailer. When I made the reservation, Uhaul promised that I could pick it up at a more convenient location. When I made the reservation online I made it for the Plymouth, MN location. And so I based my estimated mileage on that location. And over night you guys moved me to the Crystal, MN location and the to the Minneapolis location. Which was an inconvenience while trying to make a deadline and added 30 miles round trip for the uhaul truck. I feel like I should be credited back some money for the additional 30 miles I had to drive after being told it was at the Plymouth location.Jack J.

I would have felt more comfortable had we done a formal check in where we looked at the truck and gas gauge together (it didn't occur to me that I should have asked about this until after I left).
