Steve was very professional. Van was ready and Steve explained return procedures in case I returned it after hours. Fan drove and handled very well and was well maintained. Location was very convenient to where I live and was also located near a gas station for fill up prior to return.

Tommie FService was great, the owner was very nice and made check - in very easy. Would definitely come back to this location if I need to move again. Would also recommend to any family or friends looking for a u-haul.

Carolyn EI found out the location I was suppose to pick up U Haul didn’t have the truck I needed an hour before pick up time , re routed somewhere else that didn’t have truck either, it was not good customer service at all.
JOYCE TMy rental was confirmed at the montechello location in Norfolk for a 7 am pick up I was in line when my phone rang at 710 am while I was in line. They informed me I had to Uber to Hampton Va to pick up the equipment. This delay cost me an additional $400.00 for the moving crew I hired to sit there while I went to Hampton to pick up the truck , that uhaul confirmed was ready and available 12 hours previously. To make matters worse, when I arrived at Hampton, they told me I was in the computer for pick up at that location at 0730. That woul have been information uhaul should have provided Ed when you called to tell me my equipment was ready 12 hours earlier.
Greg GIt was in a scary area. Parking was horrible, few spots, huge pot holes to drive around or fall in.

Thomas GAwful awful AWFUL place! The UHaul was filthy, center console was ripped out so there were no cup holders anywhere for a 600 mile trip. Check engine light flashing on and off the entire trip….did not have any of the extras I ordered but one furniture dolly. If it's a one way trip STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They will give you their worst to get rid of it on a one way trip!
Misty MUHaul presented me this location at the last minute. It wasn't clean, charged me for an electrical light harness adaptor when I had two on my trailer and they both worked for UHAUL rentals before. No matts that I ordered were even available but invoice showed a $20 charge. Also, I95 south of Washington DC a car had to tell me my right trailer wheel was about ready to come off. 4 hours later the corporate uhaul told me the wheel wasn't installed right and send my pictures. I have sent two emails to UHAUL since last Thursday to have someone contact me and no contact yet. I want to get into more detail and questions here so please contact me soon as I want to talk with someone. Adam Zickert

Gwendolyn LThe uhaul was dirty and had multiple spiders. The location of pick up with horrible!! No place to leave your car. There was 5 cops cars when I got there. It took them almost an hour to give me the keys! I didn't receive the dolly and was STILL charged for it. The check engine light was on and they ran it through there little computer and cleared the code without knowing what the issue might've been.
Fatima GInitially I asked for a 10ft truck online. They assured me it was big enough. it was not. The gentlemen at the pickup location offered a larger truck in no time. I didn't have to wait that long for a new transaction. The 10ft cannot hold 1 apartment in one trip. That is not realistic.

Nicholas GWorst experience with Uhaul rental. Location is a junk yard with no signs to indicate anything. On my way over I drove past several rental locations that had the equipment I needed but your online tool didn't recommend. In fact I stopped at one location and they offer to rent me the equipment. Either the online tools is rigged to provide business to less that desirable locations or it is simply a terrible tool. Will never use this service again.
lucas hMobile pick up was horrible. It took over 30 minutes to get approval causing delays with my move. Rental check engine light was on. Gas was only at a quarter tank.

Breauna AI encourage you to read the contract notes from both the renal contracts. While the location itself was pleasant,the customer service surrounding this particular rental was completely unacceptable except for the time of the pickup itself. They rental agent was wonderful. I made the reservation 3 weeks ahead of time only to learn 2 days ahead that UHaul changed my pickup and return location and on the day of the rental they changed it again! All my plans had to be rerouted and I incurred additional time ,expense, and inconvenience! I was told that inconvenience was less important, so I imagine that you receive many such concerns and possibly don't follow through. But as a former Quality and e efficiency professional, I understand the challenges, however, as a U-Haul customer, I feel your customers should not have to be subjected to this experience.
