This location advertises they are open from 7 am on the weekend, however upon arrival their sign reads that no one is there on the weekends amd hours are subject to change. I waited outside for more than 20 minutes waiting for an employee to arrive to get my rental. When I returned the van, again there was no one there, there was no clear procedure on how to return the van amd they didn't answer the phone. Horrible customer service, because no I have to chase them around because I didn't travel the estimated mileage, so I need a refund on my credit card. Avoid this branch at all costs!

Service internet en français médiocre impossible de commander en libre service en français doit le faire en anglais .Une fois sur les lieux pour récuperer ,en libre service, le véhicule il font la vérification d'identité (10 min et en anglais) avant de pouvoir récupérer le véhicule . Et même leur questionnaire de satisfaction est en anglais

The windsheild wipers were useless and this was a winter day in the bright sunshine..somewhat dangerous...I was charged for fuel after I had purchased sufficient fuel to cover my useage=11.5 miles ..My trip was between two house very close together with only light bulky furniture driving at max 30 Km/hr....I was charged $15.67 for fuel after I put 8 lt of gas in at a gas station 0.5km from the rental station. The clerk went to check the truck upon checkout and he has a picture of the the gas gauge taken with his cellphone..he said it is missing one bar ..I said no I just replenished the fuel I used aat a station just down the street.. He insisted I pay for the missing fuel..I also took pictures of the fuel guage and show him he insisted my image was wrong.. I was very angry and said I am not paying ...Well I decided the argument was not going anywhere so I said OK I'll pay but I am not happy and will complain. I also apologized for being angry...However..I will not ever recommend nor rent again from this rental agent..Plus if I don 't get a positive reply from Uhaul I will post on social media about my experience.If indeed I used approx $20.00 for fuel in 11.5 miles all the while driving at 30km/hr with a very light load ....well that truck has a serious problem ..Oh did I mention that the check engine light was ON and I immediately called the agent when I was in the parking lot and asked that he call me back asap ....HE NEVER CALLED ME...Unacceptable period.

The place and truck were fine, but the rental app for after hour rentals is really not well made and crashes often. We ended using the website because the app was useless.

I was assured the app worked and was easy. I ordered a truck a few days before and tried to get the truck at 6:00am. My wife had a panic attack. We were with tec support for 2 1/2 hrs. I tried with 2 phones. Was late for my exposition and had to pay 6 people that time . we lost sales from 7- 10. Will never use the app again.

Worst fkn service!!!!! The employee of the uhaul showed was not at the uhaul distribution office. We called and asked why no one was there while we had a booked reservation. He sais he would be there in 5 minutes HOWEVER showed up 40 minutes late !!! Worst customer service and we work in the restaurant business I know what I mean !!! After we returned the truck I went back and forth with the uhaul employee concerning the payement because he didnt want to take the payment from the restaurant company card. Which has never been a problem because it is a COMPANY CARD with our CANADA inc number on it !I After sending him a signed letter from you authorising on paper that we wree allowing our employee to use the card to pass the payment, he confirmed with me that on the same day he would be able to to the reimburse ment in full to our employee and pass it on the company card. The same day our employee in question went to the same uhaul to get reimbursed and pass the payment on the company card. He than explained that in his system he was unable to reimburse our employee to the full because the truck was not in the parking and that he had rented it out to someone else... makes no sense. There there is still a charge on the employee card, he did not make a payment on our business card and there this back and forth was a waste of time. !!!!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

La note moyenne accordée pour mon appréciation générale de l’établissement est dû à l’état vraiment désolant du bureau de réception. Exigu, étroit et peu invitant, ce local n’est pas une digne introduction aux excellents services que vous offrez. Je plains le personnel qui doit y travailler et néanmoins offrir un accueil chaleureux aux clients.

I had a great experience with the location but a horrible experience trying to use 24/7 rental. I ended up having to reschedule my plans to use the pick-up office because the UHAUL 24/7 was such an utter disaster that I am actively warning others against using it

The service was great and the trucks are very practical. I was charged a 2nd day which was very demoralizing as my move is already quite expensive. The truck was returned less than an hour past the 24h limit. I don't believe the employee could help me which is totally understandable. I also reserved a small dolly and some covers which I never got and wasn't informed where to get them or that its on the client to pick them up. All in all I really appreciate the concept of the UHaul company as I've used it before. I was just disheartened that I essentially had to pay twice for one days service and it really left a bad taste in my mouth that there was no discretion, just a fat bill. Thank you

I have to wait 1:20 minutes to get my truck because the company’s computer system bugged. I’m not satisfied of that, I did my reservation on line to get it faster but the store was unable to return the truck from the last client and it take more than one hour of my time.

Être plus à l’écoute des clients et être plus responsable afin de déterminer la part de responsabilité de U-Haul. Améliorer le support pour un plan B lorsque l’appli ne fonctionne pas Application non fiable et non conviviale; a cause du système j’ai perdu un avant-midi. J’ai du payer des ouvriers sans rien faire. Rendre l’application offrant la possibilité d’avoir un environnement comp’ Français.

Vous devriez donner un double des clés à vos succursale. Nous avions oublier les clés dans le camion barré au retour et le gérant à dû faire venir un taxi pour déverrouiller mais il ne voulait pas payer et me refacturer, j'ai donc du faire déplacer quelqu'un pour aller payer car je demeure trop loin et n'ai pas de voiture. Aucun accommodement. Je me suis aussi fait facturer de l'essence en erreur, le niveau du retour à mal été pris par la succursale, et j'ai une preuve photo à l'appui que nous avions bien fait le plein.

Horrible customer service, didn't understand the different details and he responded very rudely, telling me I should just look at the paper. Ended up not understanding how to read correctly the indications, didn't understand where to put the keys back, wasted a lot of time to find the entrance, ended up at the pet shop next door.

Le réceptionniste est impoli, maladroit et incompétent. Paresseux et parle mal. Avant de facturer quelqu’un, on lui dit pourquoi on le facture. Je remet le camion, si ce n’est pas au même niveau il me dit et me laisse le choix de repartir remplir ou pas. Il fait tout en silence comme un bandit. On dit monsieur vous êtes à tel niveau et vous serez chargé tel montant. Ce n’est pas ma 1 location u haul mais je n’ai jamais vu plus mauvais service,

im really disappointed. I rent a van that was dirty and in the request I ask for a dolly, which wasn't in the van, I told customer service, i have send emails and i have no answer. The charge is still in my payment, really bad experience.

The U-Haul application proved to be totally useless and if it is not indeed useless the customer facing part of it is horrible. It added anxiety to the already very stressful ordeal that moving is. After having downloaded the application it was very unclear what needed to be done to pick up the truck. When I logged in, I was asked to resubmit all the drivers information again when I had already filled everything out online. It was unpleasant and frustrating to have to try and decipher what this application was for and if this had happened outside of opening hours it would have resulted in a disaster. Thankfully a very helpful employee wAs at the location Saturday the 3rd at 10am to help me and get me set up with my truck. Horrible platform, great customer service. Please get rid of this stupid app or get someone to very seriously rework it

reservation at 10am, confirmed via phone call the previous day. on the day itself called the location twice, no answer, no return of messages arrived at a closed door called number on the door, no answer called dispatch, not very helpful. do not recommend att all and not happy with u-haul service

The office should have open at 9 am. The employee arrived at 9:20. 3 customer waiting and no apologize. On top of that the original booking was Montréal centre ville. The rental location changed without notice.

Everything that could go wrong with the booking did. I relied on the instructions from the reservation to pick up the truck & the equipment, later in the day, but the self service process was lengthy, the mobile app did not work at all and it took over 30 min for something I expected to take 5. Finally I got into the truck but the dolly and the covers I had reserved were not there. The location was already closed so I called Customer service to no avail, nothing they could do. I had to do my move with no Dolly at all which was a pain and took twice as long. In the end, I was charged for everything I did not get, and on top of that they even doubled all fees for whatever reason. I only found out checking my credit card stattement as I never got an invoice and for the life of me could not find a copy at the website. I was told I will get a refund, but I have no confidence this time UHaul will do what was promised. Not sure I would ever go back

The app was not working, therefore I took 1h to have my truck. We called and talked with someone, which help was useless. The only thing she had to tell us was to try to go on the website instead of the app and she wasn't even able to do so. Also, there was a mistake with my invoice bill. For all those reasons, I wouldn't recommend this company.

J’ai reçu par courriel la facture pour la location que j’ai fait chez U-Haul et cela ne correspond pas à ce pourquoi j’ai signé le contrat. On me charge des frais de 99$ plus taxe (pour des frais de nettoyage) alors que j’ai remis la fourgonnette dans le même état que lorsque je l’ai reçu. J’ai communiqué avec un employé de Groupe Canal plus inc. Qui a fait la location du camion et on m’a expliqué que ce ne sont pas des frais de nettoyage mais plutôt des frais de location du camion supplémentaires. On m’explique lors de cet appel que le tarif de 19.95 est un tarif à l’heure et non à la journée! Mon contrat stipule des frais de 19.95 pour une période de 6 heures, ce pour quoi j’ai signé et jamais il n’a été question de payer 19.95 de l’heure. En conséquence, j’exige que la facturation soit corrigée afin de respecter le contrat que j’ai signé. J’ai déjà communiqué avec mon institution financière et la transaction sera annulée si vous ne vous conformez pas au contrat.

Your app doesn't work well or load pictures. I had to use the desktop version to complete my registration and my drop off. The location is poorly managed. Upon my return to drop off the truck, there was a line outside because there was no one inside the site. The worker just decided to lock the doors and walk away as clients are waiting to reserve their truck. The service was terrible; they do not care about clients or caring for the location. There is a dog on site that seems dangerous and just barks at guests. There is no clear indication of where the door is.

Unfortunately, the truck i was supposed to use somehow ended up in a city 4hours away which completely delayed and messed up the move.. Thought people were supposed to say where they were taking the truck so to have a proper schedule.

Très difficile de trouver l'entrée (ch. Côte-Saint-Paul). Service très accommodant - retour plus tard que prévu. Le contrat en ligne indique qu'une personne contact (ligne terrestre) doit être appelée pr assurance - ce ne fut pas le cas donc p-ê changer vos instructions? Car j'étais inquiète de trouver qqn qui serait à la maison.

I had a reservation planned for 9:00 to 17:00. The representative showed up 15 min late and there was no answer at the phone number to call. When I said to him “the store opens at 9:00?”, his response was arrogantly, “well it is 9:15”, and he offered no apologies for being late. According to another customer who was also waiting , it seems to be a habit. 3 people were outside waiting and when your representative finally show up he didn’t even say good morning. Also, when I got back BEFORE 5:00 pm. the store was already closed. The véhicule stinks and was full of dust. Not a good experience to rent from U-Haul. Martin Coulombe

This was the worst experience ever. Even though we booked the truck 1-1/2 month in advance for 8:00am, the night before they texted us that the truck would be available, but at 12:00 and at an other location. After calling them to make sure the truck was ready, they told us they had no truck available. I called the number many times and talked to at least 30 people, and U-Haul could not give me a truck. I had to call the scheduling manager (after 3 hours on the phone) so he could book a truck for 1:30pm. I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN. THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE AT ALL.

My gas that I was charged after bringing the vehicle back was incorrectly reported to me I was charged 67 $ for no reason I put 20 $ in to bring the gauge back to 1/4 as agreed not 1:8 as they reported

The problem is not U Haul but the Montreal circulation. So everything was close. We have to reach the site with a lot of the roads close. Without theses streets closes, the location was ideal , but it's not a big deal. Our personnel was nice and effective.

Had to put a deposit down, was told to return the next day to get it. When I returned for the refund someone had made an error so I couldn't get my money. Had to have several calls with the manager over the course of the day to get it sorted out then go back again. I had to make time outside of work on several occasions to deal with this. I will never use UHAUL again.

The location is not the problem. The problem is the terrible app that you keep advertising. Don't ask your customers to install the app if it doesn't even work. I lost an hour because of it. If you want a working system, ask me, I'll make one for you, it's really not that hard.

Passer une heure à déneiger et sortir le camion d’un banc de neige et de la glace, vraiment pas top comme service.
