I asked for 24 hours.. it was an option but within 4 hours I was getting calls from the store and uhaul was texting me demanding I return the truck. I was told other people needed the truck and I was not allowed to have the truck for the amount of time I requested. I got zero apologies for your mistake and was talked to like I was the problem. Even called my wife and was asking when I would return the truck even tho we just talked to him and discussed the length of time needed. So my service was crap and didn't appreciate the way I was treated.Logan K.

The truck was clean and Brian was helpful in going over contract info, but the braking mechanism failed and I was not able to stop and hit a pole to avoid injuries. It took 5 hours of being passed around to customer service reps to get it diagnosed, towed, and a replacement vehicle scheduled. Now I have three different invoices telling me what I still owe. I call customer service and get passed around to multiple reps again. All of this just to be told they were escalating the issue to their manager. It could take 72 hours to have an answer. Also the worker behind the counter at the L street location barely said two words while preparing my replacement equipment. What a nightmare! The claim adjuster at the insurance agency did not call me back same day after I left her a message. Then she calls back and I missed the call. She leaves a message saying she can be reached in the office for another few minutes today. She will be out of the office the following day.Brooke S.

They put the truck out of service right after I showed them the leak. The guy apologized for my poor experience and refunded me for 1 of the 2 jugs of antifreeze I used, the 2nd one was out of the trunk of my car so I had no receipt.Joe T.
Not charge people for fuel they did not use. I drove 19 miles and somehow used 7.4 gallons? That is 2.5 miles per gallon. If that were the case this truck could drive 100 miles on the 40 gallon tank before being completely empty. I do not plan on using Uhaul again.Dustin Roger S.

On our last load the door went up, but we couldn't get it to close. It appeared to have become entangled on itself. Luckily we had bungee cords to hold stuff inside. Otherwise it was a great experience.Kristine P.
The cab light didn't immediately go off after locking the truck when turning it in. I didn't have a flashlight, but I re-opened the cab and tried to read some "fine print" that appeared to indicate that there was a delay before the light would go off. But I was worried that the battery might run down if the light never went off. It would be helpful if that feature about the cab light was verbally explained when picking up the truck. Other than that, it all went just fine.Steven W.
