We were given 73 miles from pick up to drop off but our total trip was 70 miles. We were told we could drop off at any location closest to our new home. However, we went to that location, which was a mile away, and they stated it was $699 to drop it off at any location and stated dispatch put us at a location 45 minutes away! So we were then charged $90 in mileage charges to drop off at what location I haul chose. Be careful with uhaul- they are scam artists.MICHAEL P.

Staff was rude to both me and my husband, and after being asked to stand outside because I didn't have a mask (while maintaining social distancing) two other people approached me to say they had been asked to leave or return with a mask. Upon review, this place has a lot of bad reviews but I would say since a UHaul center is possible some of the first people you meet in the state you move to, there's a lot to be desired attitude-wise. I would have gone out of my way to another location to not come here again.Julie M.

The staff there were confrontational with another customer when I walked in, and ultimately kicked her out for asking basic questions. Dude tried to fight me over a comment about masks, even though as prior military I have been vaccinated. He displayed a complete lack of professionalism, tried to start a physical altercation, then threatened to call the police. The woman brandished a can of pepper spray, which was a completely unwarranted escalation of force. If I could give this place negative stars I would, now I am wrongfully charged 190 dollars for things I turned in, but now have been marked as missing. As well as things I never truly picked up, due to lack of service. Complete dogshit service, and uhauls reputation will ultimately foot the bill for failing to hold both parties accountable at the pickup and drop-off location. As a Marine Officer who has been out of the service less than 4 days, I'm shocked that a business can exist with such a lack of professionalism.Nicholas M.

U-Haul changed my pick up to a in-person pickup without telling me and the place didn't open for 3 hours after my pickup time. After waiting on hold for more than 30 minutes, i was rerouted to a far away location. The last at the second location, the one listed above was very nice, at least. Then the app wouldn't work for returning the truck. It wouldn't accept a picture of the odometer. All around, a horrible experience. The truck had a bad whine while drivingTodd S.

The app is horrible. It takes forever to load each page. It took 30 minutes to even pick up the van using the app. The first number we gave whoever it was said no one answered, even though it was my mom's phone number and she was standing right next to me. When returning the van, the app never did take the picture of the mileage. We had to go into the store to finish closing the rental. Also, the manager (she said she was the owner) of the store was super freaked out about customers not wearing a mask. She wouldn't even get close to the desk with us standing at the door. Otherwise, renting the van and returning it was very easy and the store is clean.Jurrien A.

My problem with U-Haul has little to do with the Greeley operation but EVERYTHING to do with your company overall. I made a reservation weeks in advance of a move from NE Colorado to Wyoming. Less than 24 hours before I was to pick up a truck in Brush, Colorado, I got the first of several phone calls from U-Haul. The first informed me that there would not be a truck available for me to pick up. A second call informed me there were NO trucks of any size available anywhere in the Front Range area for my move. A 3rd call revealed there were NO trailers available either. I was left with no option but to cancel. Then, my wife decided to call individual dealers in Greeley and found a truck available for "local" use but NOT for a 1-way trip to Wyoming. We rented it in desperation, despite the fact that it cost us considerable more money in gas and mileage since we had to return it to Greeley after the move. Then the lady at the U-Haul store got very upset because my wife and I didn't wear masks in her store. We have both have had Covid, now have anti-bodies per blood tests, and for personal reasons have declined the experimental vaccines. I didn't appreciate being treated like a leper. As a result, I have reserved a Penske truck for the second half of our move and I have already begun telling everyone who asks, "How did the move go?" all about the crappy service we got from U-Haul. I operate an aircraft rental and training business. When I promise a customer an aircraft, I do everything I can to make sure he/she gets the aircraft as desired. I would never treat a customer like you people treated us. You should be ashamed of yourselves.ELLIOTT A.

No one was available to help with hitching the auto transport to my vehicle. I had to maneuver the auto transport from a narrow spot and hitch it myself. It was a very heavy item for one person. Assistance was offered but I was to wait one hour, which i did not have the luxury of waiting for. The Uhaul (800 gouhaul) customer service number did not assist me for over 2 hours. A local uhaul store in Loveland, CO named Dave was the person who helped me the most to locate an auto transport and convenient location for pick up.Robert T.

The UHaul app was not working well. The woman working at the location was angry that she had to help me and accused me of 'taking it out' on her because she had to provide any answers to my questions. I will never rent from Uhaul in Greeley again unless there is a much better, customer service oriented location. I would strongly recommend pulling your product from that location.Heather F.
The whole processI'd renting, checking back in was superb. The only thing that could have been better would have been the process if setting up an account and the beginning I'd the rental process. We were incredibly offended! My Husband and daughter decided to walk around the building and we're picking flowers and just killing time while I figured out the U-Haul app. While I was inside the lady said " I would not have my husband walking around here cause it's bad?" I was super confused and said what's bad? She went on to say all of them working there and I guess around that area were carrying guns! I said my husband is with my daughter, we are customers and do not pose a threat! She went on to say " well they don't know that. Super threatening! 1. Tried to make reservations online. Got a â€˜an error occurred please try again later' I then got a call Today that I never picked up our truck- I better not be charged for both! 2. Husband had to pay $140 when picking up the truck??!???!! What for??? Then paid another $74/$79 when dropping off. At $40 a day driving 11 miles for $8 why did U-Haul take $210? 3. Picked up truck, got home to load- back door (where we load) was frozen closed. 4. Overall frustrating at u-haul: the money, the frozen door, the reservation that was made, but told me it didn't work,Kyle R.

UHaul moved us to this location because the location we originally chose online did not have the trailer we reserved. We did the online check-in due to Covid which UHaul stated we should do and which was supposed to be faster. It still took 30 minutes at the place to check in and repeat everything we had entered online including payment information and for them to go to the back lot to get the trailer we had ordered in advance. The lady owner is very rude and her customer service is terrible. She is obviously not happy to be doing what she is doing. We also reserved the trailer until 6pm but we're rudely informed by the lady owner when picking it up that they close the UHaul portion of their business at 4:30. So we had to completely alter our plans for our rental based on our online reservation time. I would not recommend this location at all and would highly recommend getting more pleasant people to work here for the first improvement. We've rented from other UHaul locations and had much better experiences than this Greeley location. I would definitely go out of my way to another location to avoid this location.Sean W.
The online site was not working properly. Had to download the app to finally be able to check in the truck. Bad thing is we had already returned the keys to the lock box. Might be a good idea to let people know up front that they need to take pictures before turning in the keys.Rachel H.

The lady at the front desk was very rude both on the phone and in person, not only did she argue with me about the vehicle that was being towed, but she argued with us about the vehicle we were towing it with, and it was sitting within view of her desk. Very rude mom & pop business Ruby has not Customer service and asks as if we were bothering her by renting a uhaul. No receipt given. Their system seems ancient and crashing. Took 30 minutes to rent a truck and time was ticking on returning U-Haul I was only given 6 hours because they close at 2pm. She was absolutely awful. As I was outside with my friend taking pictures of the uhaul per the return policy, she asked if we were looking at some gentleman's pick up outside, saying it looked strange that we were near it. My requested pickup location was changed to 40 miles away 2 days before the move. I understand that they cannot guarantee location, but my promised ride was for a mile or 2, not an 80 mile round trip, so I had to take an Uber which was expensive. Then the help was rude and their supplies outrageously overpriced. I understand their business may have suffered fro Covid19, but price gouging is not a solution.Heidi A.

We waited 30 mins just to pick up a trailer. the lady was obviously annoyed that we didnt complete a precheck in - that we didnt even know to do. The return process was dependent on is having a smart phone with taking picture etc. Someone should be there working if they want to verify it not us having to do there jobs. First time having to do all this and it was like we are doing employee or owners jobs for them - we were busy with moving and hauling all day and didn't like these added steps to the last place we rented from.James S.
