They changed the location to pick up the trailer without calling to inform me. They sent the email but I don't check my email every 5 mins. We booked the location to return and then they said that "there is no place to drop it there anymore". What does the meaning of choosing the location of pick up and return when making the reservation?HOMAUNE K.

No wiring extension on trailer, no rubber grommets for S hooks. Made me drive to Uhaul corporate store with no lights at all for wiring extension they said would be no charge. Had to pay for a wiring harness after waiting at corporate store for over an hour - Corporate gave me a $10 credit for next interaction. Originally hooked to truck by employee completely wrong - only when I took pictures he corrected the hook up. Was 15 minutes late opening the business 9:15 AM when scheduled for 9. If Grand Motors represents Uhaul like this I would seriously recommend not having them represent your brand.Wayne B.
I have rented many vehicles, but this was my first experience with Uhaul and unfortunately it was not a great one. My trailer was not at the requested location and was sent 10km out of my way to pick it up. When I got to the second location there was no one there to check me in. I called back the first location and was told to use online checking, which I did. I then took the trailer 400km away as was my plan. I was not convinced I did the check in properly and called your help desk to verify. Sure enough something was wrong and I was driving towing an illegal trailer that your system said was not picked up yet. After waiting on hold for more than 30 minutes it was finally corrected. The drop off was a little better, but I needed to do a self return. It went smoothly. I am sure there can be something done to improve the check in process, I think the online confirmation process indicates optional when I believe is a required step. This might solve the entire issue if it is the case.Philip L.

There was a problem with my reservation and I almost did not have a truck. However, the customer service agent went out of her way to help me and I really appreciated it. The man at the counter was also incredibly helpful. However, the location was very hard to find. I would add more signage so that people can easily find the place. I called and did complain about the price that is totally wrong ,what you people say on phone when we reserve does not match what we are paying. your Advertising is (miss leading ). I suppose to pay .69 cent per km,and I mentioned that I have my proper insurance,this was the agreement with your agent on the phone , with a rent of 29.99 $ . I was charged extra insurance and 1.11 per km. Your agent said pay this amount now , and call U-Haull you will get your money back. By the way it took me and my friend almost half hour just to clean the ice on the windshield and the mirrors, and I broke my new ice cleaning brush with heating the car to help us to melt the ice that was almost impossible to break. So we lost time gaz brush and extra money to rent your truck. By the way the reason I want to rent from you because the adreess was very close to the place that I was going, but the day I had to confirm, I found out is not the same address, I had no choice I that time ,I canceled my other reservations with another company (discount). When I arrived the renting I did on your web site was not in their system. The person in charge was not there. Someone else took 55 minutes to work hard to make sure I could have the truck. Hello, I called to the hotline to rent for a couple hours and when I arrived to the renter it was the first or second time he used the system it actually took almost 1 hr to actually get the reservation set in the system he had to call the rep for help. I specifically told him I needed the van for a couple hours to move some furniture. I was supposed to be billed $19.99 + 0.30c per kilometer and now I received my invoice its a complete mess it shows multiple days and over $120 which makes no sense at all. I took the truck for less than 2hrs and made 60km total. This needs to be fixed asap. GraciasIlan A.

This is my chance to tell someone in Authority that I am very upset you have no one that can figure out you cannot travel 12,000 miles in two days.I should not have had to chase people by phone and personal vehicle to try and correct a milage mistake for over three weeks! Other then that I had a great experience in renting my vehicle from U-Haul. We have used uhaul twice now, the first time we had to scramble around town to get the equipment and blankets I had reserved on line weeks ahead of time. No one needs added stress when they are moving. This second experience went well at the moving end but when we returned the moving truck, trailer, and equipment it was a nightmare. The empoyee at Miles Collision was not very well trained in dealing with vehicles or the return of equipment. He could not figure out that it was impossible for us to have travelled the distance he claimed we had on the odometer. He should have realized that the odometer had been switched to kilometers instead of miles. We would of had to travel to British Columbia a number of time in two days to rack up that kind of kilometers. To have charged us 5500.00 dollars on our visa without any discussion about what the problem might have been was uncalled for. Then a few days later to be emailed again with a notice that we had not returned the appliance dolly was just about enough for my husband and I to seriously consider involving our lawyer. I think you need to reconsider the way you address your clients, perhaps emails are not the friendliest way. I don't believe you had any right to charge that amount on our visa without first discussing the issue with us. I can assure you that you will probably won't be getting glowing reviews, at least not for a little while. Maybe once we feel less stressed by the move we will feel more forgiving. The vehicle needed to be jumped by our vehicle as the battery was too low and died. Also, the gas cap was stripped and this was a problem when we filled the truck up at the end of the move. This truck was not well maintained and needs some repairs. Also, the next day I received a text on my cell phone saying that my uhaul rental was overdue. I called the location where I dropped it off, on time, and he told me that he had not had a chance to check it in yet. However, this was the following day about 16 hours after drop off. Thank you.
