The address that U-Haul sent via text message, though correct, the GPS led me to the wrong location. The link that was sent by U-Haul was the reason. The address was 6805 RR 2338 OR 6805 Williams Dr. If you did not know that RR 2338 and Williams Dr were the same road, and you just click the link, it takes you to 2338 Williams Dr, which is a church. It was very confusing. I called the location directly and the woman who answered the phone was VERY nice and helpful and I was able to find the location after speaking with her. I turned in the truck via the internet as she was out to lunch and the office was closed. The website was very easy to use. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the address issue as well as the fact that the drop off location was changed by U-Haul THREE times before the drop off day. I had so many text messages, that I had a hard time finding the payment PIN to pay the movers. This is of no reflection on the location, but wanted to be sure that U-Haul Corporate understands how annoying it is for them to keep changing the drop off location when the customer selects a location for a specific reason.KATHLEEN P.

Truck was not safe to drive when given to me. Two brackets on either side of the truck were torn off previously and jammed up into the wheel wells. These should have been easy to spot on any simple inspection. These brackets were literally hanging in the wheel well inches from the tires. After i got literally 2 miles down the road from picking up my truck one of these brackets caught onto my tire and sliced it wide open while going 50+ mph. It de treaded and started shipping around on the side of the truck, luckily not hitting another car nor getting stuck in the axle. I could have crashed and been seriously injured. This is unacceptable. I had to wait over an hour on the side of the road for a replacement tire, When they got there I showed them the brackets and they couldnt remove them so they "jammed" them up, Still extremely unsafe but I was only going a short distance and had to unload my truck. Once I got to the destination I called Uhaul for help either replacing the truck or getting the brackets removed. I was told by an extremely RUDE rep that the former technician said there was no problem. So now I was being told too bad go drive this unsafe truck on the road. Putting my life and the lives of others at risk. Not good company policy. I hung up on this extremely RUDE rep and called another. Finally got ahold of someone with some decency and he tried to get the tech out to remove the brackets. At this point my day had been going 6+ hours moving and I hadnt even gotten the main load. My storage locker closed in 2 hours and I couldnt wait any longer. We have the about an hour to get there then I had to crawl under the truck and rig the brackets so they wouldnt do what theyd done early in the day and destroy my tires. I requested the entire rental be reimbursed and you guys still had the balls to charge me. YOU PUT MY LIFE AT RISK BECAUSE OF YOUR POOR MAINTENANCE. I will never use Uhaul again. In fact I went out of my way to pay PENSKE $400 for a rental the next weekEric C.

The truck itself was in good condition but presented a safety hazard for me. I am tall and wear a size 13 shoe. The gas and brake pedals are too close together. A few times I pressed both of them at the same time!!! I have rented from U-Haul several times in my life and this is the first time I have had this problem. I rented two trucks for our last move three years ago and the foot pedals were not that close. I think the truck had a short hood than I have had before and the driveline intruded into the cab, forcing the pedals closer together. I would rent again from U-Haul but I would not get this type of truck again.Terry M.
