The owner here was very pleasant. Again he explained he could not even give us a partial refund on renting the Truck One way! You should also offer a smaller vehicle as we only had one item to move. This is rapping the public in our view. Consider a more fare rental price.DANIEL A.
Retaining wall above the yard needs repair. There isn't a walking path between the truck parking and the building where the key box is mounted. The truck needed mechanical maintenance.Richard N.

There is very little signage to denote that this is a uhaul site. In fact, the only way one can surmise this is their location is to see the uhaul trucks in the lot next door (up the hill). In fact, the neighboring business has a sign on their front door stating that they are NOT uhaul! They are CLOSED on Sunday--a fact not known to me or communicated. There is no sign on their door with their hours--or even an open or closed status. Eventually I backed the trailer into their lot; towed the wheels and dropped the trailer from my rig--all without help or instruction.miguel Z.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. No person on site, the remote U-haul site doesn't work from the physical location of the site for some cell carriers.I sat on hold for 35 minutes 1 time and then got disconnected, I sat on hold for 65 minutes 1 time and then got disconnected. If I can avoid it I will NEVER work with U-haul again. You win the award for the worst customer experience perhaps ever.DANIEL BRIAN R.

Location was not open on Sunday. We received a call on Saturday that we needed to pick up the trailer on Saturday. I Confirmed that we would only be charged for the 24 hour period of our contracted rental term. However, on picking up the trailer, we were told that it would be charged for 48 hours, double the amount. We were referred back to U-Haul to reconcile this. I haven't had time to reconcile, but feel like this should have been taken care of either by the U-Haul representative who confirmed this on the phone or the person we picked it up from. There seems to be a lot of fingerpointing.Marie R.

I reserved a cargo van, the homeowner i was moving my things from was told this so when i pulled up in a box truck all of a sudden this was all this "extra" stuff i could take for him and help him out. So i ended up paying for another day specifically because of the size of the equipment i reserved was not vended to me.John A.

Total disaster that ruined my moving day and costed me five times more. Incompetent owner who left the vehicle blocked and I was unable to pick it up. He's voice mai said . " Renting a U-Haul? Don't leave me a message and I'll not listen to it. had to drive 65 miles and pay way more so I can complete my moving, for which I had one day. The same location also have very bad internet service, so the online checking took 40 minutes cycling through the same steps over and over. Same on return. I'll be requesting a refund for the money I've been charged because of the incompetency of the people that run a business for you.Ilia P.
I am horrible with names but the guy whobused to live in Florida was great, spoke on the phone, showed up 30 min later and he had everything ready to go, was on the road within 15 min! In Summit County this kind of customer service is unheard of.RUSTY W.

The pickup location itself was very nice, Mario made the pickup as easy as it could be. However, The customer care center in Colorado/Denver is the absolute WORST customer experience I have ever had. The manager, Adam, cancelled my reservation because renting two Uhauls within two days is â€œsuspicious.â€ For clarity, I needed one uhaul on Wednesday to return a couch we couldn't fit in the move. I made a reservation for a round trip trailer rental to do so, and requested another trailer to move the rest of our belongings for Thursday. Adam then called me and proceeded to tell me that 1) My activity was suspicious. 2) Because it was â€œsuspicious,â€ I was not allowed to rent the enclosed 5x8 THAT I RESERVED to return my $1,000 couch. 3) Made me a new reservation to rent a 5x9 un-enclosed trailer and they forgot to take me off the â€œeAlert,â€ so upon arrival, I was forced to call THREE different phone numbers, wait 45 mins on hold, to just have someone take me off of â€œeAlert.â€ (Also nearly missed a job interview because of this) Moving is hard, and the customer care center made it a nightmare. I thought Uhaul's slogan was â€œ We make moving easy!â€ This was by far the worst customer experience I have ever had, and I hope to GOD I never have to rent another Uhaul again.Daniel F.

Went to pick up the truck and it was blocked in by another vehicle. Another couple was there and didn't have their rental either and had already called a number because no one was on site. Waited about 20 mins (other people waited longer) before someone showed up to move the other vehicleCraig M.

The 249 Warren Ave site needs to be removed from your website. No signage. No reason for a customer to think it's Uhaul. It's a dirty body shop with no one to assist a customer. The representative at Fawn Court was excellent. The Fawn Court location is cramped for space. But it is what it is.GREGORY J.

Morning, I had a terrible experience over the weekend. I booked a 17 foot van over a month ago, the day before my pick up date I received a call saying they have no van available, but they could offer me a 10 foot van. Just to be clear, I booked the 17" van to move house and if a 10" van would not work or I would have booked one. Also I travel in from Kentucky to make the move. After a heated discussion with the UHaul person I told them I need a 17' van. After 30 minutes he called me back and said he secured a 15" van at another location. So, I drove to the new location to pick up the 15" van and on arrival. There was no van available !!!!!!!! I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a customer service guy and he sent me over to another location, another 30 miles away. However he could not confirm my booking and I need to call another person at 9:00. So, I started by drive to the different location only to receive another call from a lady (she was very helpful) only to send me back to the same location and she managed to confirm a reservation. To Summarize: I booked a 17" van over a month ago, the day before I got a call stating no van available, but I could have a 10" van. The call had no responsibility or respect for my booking, we argued on the phone and I had to demand a larger van. New van sourced but wrong size at a different location, On arrival no van Called help line 30 minutes with no solution sent to another location, during the drive received a call and sent back to the same location. The following was NOT any fault of Goodway Towing. It was frustrating that the U-Haul website would not allow me to reserve the trailer for more than 24 hours, and this was made more frustrating by the fact that there was no explanation for this on the U-Haul website.Douglas G.

The employee changed our dropoff location (to Craig, CO) without our consent, which resulted in a "wrong dropoff location" charge when we returned the trailer to the EXACT intended location in Steamboat Springs that is in our original contract. We are still trying to resolve this issue, but cannot reach the person (Michael Mikallonis) to help us with this. Also, we waited 20 minutes before anyone came to assist us with picking up our trailer. In addition, the appliance dolly that we rented was not in the trailer, and we had to return to pick that up.Martin A.
