Listen to your customer. I bought 2 inexpensive pads for 7.95each. didn't use them, she told me they were rentals and I had to give them back.I told her I bought them,but she insisted that they were rentals.Never used still in their bags.So she has them now and I am out 15.90 thanks a lot UHaul

Very unhappy that U-haul scheduling moved my pickup appointment to a location 45 minutes away when I had a guaranteed reservation. I received an email notification with no explanation. After multiple calls I received no help to resolve the issue. They were more interested in getting me to cancel my reservation then resolving the issue. After spending time researching local locations and making calls I was able to find the equipment I reserved right around the corner from me. I reserved online and my reservation was confirmed. It should not have been changed. And why did I have to spend the time to find the equipment? Not good service from U-haul. I not receive the reservation guarantee of $50 even though U-haul did not resolve my issue. The effort to resolve the issue was left to me. The local locations that I used to pickup and drop off provided good service.

I called 3 separate times to verify my reservation. Nobody was there that could confirm for me. I was being told the manager isn’t here, call back at 7pm. I called at 8pm and still nobody there to verify my reservation. I even left my number and reservation number for them to call me. Still no response. I finally waited the next day until my appt time to call and got a response from someone like this: “well, we have two auto transporters, so I guess one has to be yours”. I got to the location and one was mine, but the unknown was still in my head wondering if I was gonna have what I ordered or not. This location apparently needs to train more than one person to do U-Haul so customers like me can have peace of mind that the equipment we require is actually there and verified by the pick up location.

My equipment was not ready at the time of my reservation and the woman running the location was very rude. I was not given any compensation for the inconvenience, and received very poor customer service.

The fuel register mark on the document I was given when I picked up the truck showed more than 3/4 tank of gas, but the truck only had about 1/8 tank -- when I pointed that out, the service person said he'd adjust the records. I returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas. The receipt I just received from U-Haul did not show any additional gas charge, as is correct, since I returned more than I received at the outset. In the future, the gas level should be marked correctly. But otherwise, all was just fine. Thank you.

I picked up truck on a Sunday. These guys in this location need a bonus or surprise party or pizza party. Sunday was packed. No other locations open for miles. People freaking out, and these guys pushed mountains to get more trucks for everyone.

I made an online reservation on uhauls website with a pickup location in one county in Virginia and a delivery location in another county in the same state. It seems that Uhaul took the liberty of changing my pickup and delivery location, and booked my rental to another customer five hours later after my pickup time. This information I found out when I went to the pickup location that I selected online. After traveling to the changed pickup location, the receptionists confirmed everything. Clearly Uhaul is attempting to book as many trucks/equipment at the expense of customer service and satisfaction. I've moved 6 times in the last 8 years and not once have things gone perfect or close to as planed as I would have liked. That's the nature of moving when you have another fulltime job and family. To put a time limit of 5 hours without advance notice does not rank high on my scale of customer satisfaction!

This is a joke. The "guaranteed" uhaul is not a guarantee. Didn't have truck I needed, and made me feel lucky I was even getting a truck of any size which was ridiculous. Nobody called the day before to confirm and when I called myself to the original falls church location they were the ones that told me that one would be available in Alexandria instead. So u get movers, nobody calls to confirm the time and it's not at the location you want. Awesome! If you like to have frustrating moves where everybody treats you like they are doing you a favor, then go with uhaul.

I was a bit disappointed with the initial place I rented from, as I called in to confirm my reservation the morning of, only to find out they didn't have a vehicle available... E&M Collision Center came through for me and my reservation was transferred to them. They had plenty of vehicles available to include the elusive box trucks that were all booked up elsewhere in NOVA. Thanks guys for great customer service, I will surely use you in the future.

I have used U-Haul once before and would have preferred to return to that location but I was assigned to E&M. It was a busy Saturday morning and there was one person to check everyone in. They also did not tell people that if you were renting a trailer that you needed to have the trailer hooked up first. After standing in line, I overheard this and had someone else wait in line while I got the trailer hooked up and then was able to get back in line. The Falls Church location was much better.

While the location was fantastic, it was not the one I chose. I specifically chose one in the city, that was accessible by foot/public transportation. The one that I was assigned to was not accessible by either of those. Thankfully, I had a car and a second driver who could go with me, but had I not had that, I would have been stuck with a truck reservation and the inability to pick it up. To make matters worse, I only found out about this change less than 24 hours before I was due to pick up the truck. Not acceptable!

While the attendant strove to be helpful, the location was very disorganized. They do not have an adequate supply of trucks to meet the demand of the previously made online reservations. Our reservation was passed to several locations (and consequently we had to rush around) to find an available vehicle, hours later than our original reservation.

It's not the location I am rating. They were very accommodating. Its uhaul corporate. The company over books and then when I arrived at the Vine St location they didn't have the truck because the other reservation didn't return. They drove me to this location and said they could only give me a 10 ft truck when I reserved a 14. After 30 minutes I finally got a 14. The girl at the counter was helpful but clearly frustrated with the situation. Uhaul corporate needs to change their business practices to better serve customers because I will never go back.

The trailer was in bad shape. Light harness was cut and shorted-out mid trip causing the car to blow a fuse. Trailer also had dents and bends in it. But the gentleman working at the location provided excellent service otherwise
