I always use this location when renting a uhaul. They also have tons of other equipment to rent as well. Very friendly staff, would recommend this place every time.

I had a bit of a drop off after hours problem that was my fault. But I left phone messages to explain the situation. I called the next morning, re-explained and my return was processed in a timely manner with no attitude. Thank you!

The guys were friendly and very helpful. They switched out trucks when the first truck had a broken lock on the passenger door. Unfortunately the next truck was pretty gross and in need of a thorough cleaning. Every surface was dirty and/or sticky from previous rentals and you couldn't touch anything without getting dirty. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and it could have been due to the last minute switch to a different truck and maybe there wasn't time to clean it. The trailer was filthy too and covered in rocks and debris from the recent salting and sanding of the winter roads in NM. On the road we discovered that the drivers side running light was out at night and had to worry about getting pulled over or getting a ticket. This location didn't have any blankets or furniture dollies and that forced an extra trip back to our local U-Haul location, the one where we made our initial reservation. Also, not this locations fault, but last minute we were forced to drive 60 miles round trip to this location to pick up our equipment as none of the local locations had a 20 ft truck and an auto transport. After loading up my car, I couldn't operate one of the tie downs in the front as it was completely rusted and frozen. This forced another stop before hitting the road at the local U-Haul location where we lived and they sprayed it with WD-40 to get it to work. It was very frustrating to have to drive so far away, and make so many trips, to get our required supplies. Also frustrating was we were unable to order our moving supplies online ahead of time because the website wouldn't work. We tried for 2 days before giving up and just went to the local place to buy them.

We got notice the DAY before of pick up that we would have to travel 45 minutes away to get the truck we ordered. You did add the extra mileage and an extra day, but it was time we didn't plan on and caused a disruption to the moving plans.

Victor was not welcoming when I enter. Made it clear he was not too please to be doing business with me. The uhaul app would not allow me to take pictures, so I returned to the store. Victor was chatting with someone so I waited for him to finish. When I was acknowledged, he was gruff and clearly annoyed I returned. I explained the app wasn't working, he interrupted me saying poor service in the area. I told him the truck he gave me was not clean, again he interrupted and said it just came in that morning and he hadn't had time to clean the truck. Why would you send it out again if it was inspected and cleaned? The visor was broken as well and an annoyance because it blocked my view while driving. I told him that was an issue but again he made it clear he wanted me gone. When I got on the highway taking the truck to 45 mph the steering wheel began shaking. I thought I might of had a flat tire so I pulled over to check the tires, which seemed fine. I think the aliment is off but either way, that truck should of been inspected and serviced before going out on the road. I was loading dishes and fragile items which could of broken had I taken the highway to my final destination. I returned the truck the same day. I didn't receive a confirmation email the next morning so I called at 10 am. I was told that when they checked it in I would get my confirmation email. I called uhauls main number after 2 pm which was long after the due back time. I received my confirmation email after 4 pm! I was made to feel unwelcome and treated disrespectful. It was clear my business was not appreciated and I was an annoyance to Victor due to my gender. Had I been in a larger town, I would of walked out and done business elsewhere.

I returned a day early and was supposed to get money back and returned 2 unused bags of blankets. No refund as stated. They one guy was very helpful but the other guy never called back.

It was difficult to back the trailer in because there was a tow truck blocking most of the self return area. It was also very dark, a streetlight would have made things a little easier.

I should have been credited for the gas I paid for and barely used. Received with 1/8 of a tank and returned with 3/4 of a tank. Customer service was good.

Do not sell/push items online that are not available at individual locations. I ordered a dozen moving pads with my online order, but the pickup location did not have them. Put us in a last-minute pickle. In short, don't push inventory online that's not universally available at pickup. Otherwise, love you guys!

Truck was smelly like cigarette smoke the entire trip. The starter kept going out. Had to spend an extra day at a motel because it wouldn’t start. No help from Uhaul. When I tried to get help they basically said it’s not their problem. We Will NOT Abe back. Going with Ryder or someone else from now on.

Owner barely spoke to me, was short and seemed irritated to have to do his job. Fine for a drop off but wouldn’t want to work with them for any other reason.

My two comments are as follows: 1) The signage needs improvement. The arrow labeled "Equipment Returns" should be changed to "After Hours Equipment Returns." The proprietor admitted to me that this improvement is needed. He should also add a second sign with arrow for "Business Hours Returns." 2) The entire yard is composed of dirt, with no pavement. After any rain, it becomes a mud bath. The entire area should be paved. If full pavement is not yet affordable, then at least cover the surface with gravel to sufficient depth to avoid mud puddles. Trucks and equipment will stay cleaner that way, and customers will be happier if they don't get their towing vehicle and shoes so muddy (as I did when I returned my trailer this morning).

I drove right into Gil's and checked in. At Las Cruses we checked in one place and had to pick the truck at another.

The equipment that was rented to me did not work I had To move to the mountains and the truck the truck did not turn on once I made it up there I had no service so I could not call for assistance so I had to wave somebody down to help me with the uhaul truck. The guy at the uhaul location was really rude also he yelled at me and hung up when I was asking him for help. Worst experience ever dealing with uhaul

The gas meter at checkout was above the level of the gas gage in the truck. The truck was returned with more fuel was still charged the difference.
