The trailer was missing the 4 way flat long wire these trailers normally have, and the location did not have the part. I had to drive to an auto parts store with the location's owner to have a makeshift 4 way flat wire installed on my truck. It seems as if the Uhaul locations should have simple items like the 4 way flat wire in stock for these situations. The owner of the facility was very helpful, but if the needed part was in stock at his shop, it would have saved an hour and a half of time. Additionally, Uhaul's website crashed in the middle of checking me in. While this is not the location's fault, there is no other place to state this. This caused a significant time delay. Also, the way Uhaul's online reservation systems handles reservations is terrible. I made a reservation on Thursday, and received a call Friday night that my equipment was not available, and the nearest location with the equipment was an hour our of my way.David J.

Being charged for scratch on upper R side of panel and there is no way that I hit anything as I was on interstate and route 202 and route 9 without any hint of any trauma to the vehicle and now find thar Gils already billed my credit card for repair of scratch ( pretty pricey) without calling me to discuss. The guy that handled my return was nice enough but was also was solo mechanic on the premises.I had called numerous times including late afternoon and early in am and left return number which was never returned.Paul B.

It took an hour and a half hours to get the truck. Customer service was good when I could get to a person. The last representative in customer service was excellent. She got everything done right away. She should get a raise and promotion to manager.Jacqueline F.
