Considering the town and it's average household income, you have to respect it and them for what and who they are. They provided good service and that's all I needed.

The number of miles driven is different from what the odometer suggested. Perhaps it was a difference due to a trip odometer. I am requesting an adjustment down from 40 miles driven to 25 miles driven.
Rate quoted by phone did nOT match the rate charged when we picked up eqpt. Higher rate! When questioned, answer was vague.

Windshield wipers were horrible. Got stuck in the rain because I couldn't see.
I would recommend that each truck have a thorough maintenance check between uses. The check engine light was on when I picked the truck up and soon as I arrived at my location to unload the truck broke down with a cracked head gasket.
Have more people like Gerald. He is the best!

The only thing is they need to mark damages on a vehicle so that when the customer turns it in they do not get charged for it. Truck had damage ons sides and wasnt marked on truck or noted on paper work. But a call into them when we dropped truck off took care of problem but it could have been avoided if they had just marked the truck. Thank you
Jerry Hildebrand was extremely professional yet personable. The service was wonderful and once my husband had signed for and paid the fee, Mr. Hildebrand came out to meet me and joked saying, “We don't have a truckâ€. He wished us a safe trip and hoped we would be happy with our move.
Improve your communications between facility & main office the main office sent me an e-mail telling me to pick up the truck at an alternate location while the owner of the Oak Hill facility went to pick up the truck for me
We got the equipment we wanted and all went well for us.

The original pickup location was Beckley WV. I was called the day before pickup and told I had to go to Oak Hill. This caused me issues, when I passed the Uhaul in Beckley they had multiple of the same truck. Why did I have to fo to Oak Hill.
Good ole country boys who care for their customers
Truck was not there when we arrived. Had to wait. Ordered a dolly. They said we never have those. Truck was a size bigger than what I ordered. Gas tank gage broken
Called this place Monday and told him all the problems with this truck and he was going to check them all out and see about getting our gas.money refunded.
Nice people, but the truck had almost 154,000 miles and the driver's door had been damaged to the point that wind whistled through the whole trip. The brakes squeaked and the automatic clutch is going to be having problems in the coming days. Good experience overall for the price though and I will use the service again.

Have the packaging requested that was ordered and told would be there and waiting. I drove 25 miles to closes uhaul to pickup wardrobe boxes only to find out there wasn't any and hadn't been for years and then had drive back 25 miles back home. Used 50 miles of gas not to mention the time wasted I could have just been paqcking. Then on the morning of our departure we had to set and wait for 1 hour for someone to bring us a strap for the tow dolly because the one supplied was tore and we couldn't strap the car on the tow dolly.
This was a very bad rental. The UHAUL 1-800 booked the reservation for 4-5 pm on 6 Oct (sat) for a 26 ft truck and trailer able to transport a 5200 lb tractor. I am asking for a $255.26 refund for the following reasons. On 5 Oct, I was told I needed to pick up the truck and trailer between 8-10 am at a different location than reserved. Customer service told my sister answering the call that I would get $100 for the trouble. I did not get this. The earlier pick up time cut my packing time by one day. My nephew who had to get back to work on Tues and I spent about 45 min at Geralds getting the truck and finding out we could not transport the tractor because UHAUL needed 24 hrs to confirm the trailer use. We did not have the time to do this. I believe this should be another $100 for the trouble. When I left Geralds, the fuel was closer to 5/8 of a tank than 3/4. I returned the truck nearly full and I am asking $15 for the additional fuel. We spent too much time at Geralds to go back and he was supposed to leave at 10 am. We did not have the time to go back. The bed of the truck was dirty. I spent 15 minutes sweeping and cleaning it out. This should be a $25 refund. I returned the truck clean. Geralds said they would give me 2 extra days and additional mileage for my trouble. I returned the truck around 12 noon on 9 Oct and was charged $15.26 for the extra time. I should get this back. For all this, I am asking for a total refund of $255.26 with the check made out to Robert Korpanty and mailed to 8255 Chisolm Plantation Rd, Edisto Island, SC 29438 or refund my credit card. You folks at Uhaul really messed up my move.

I did the reservation of the truck online and purchased boxes that we didn't receive but were charged for. I emailed Terry Smith but never received a refund.
The truck was filthy. Floor was dirty with food, 1/2" dust on the dash, you couldn't see clear out of the windshield. I cleaned and disinfected the dash, doors,seats and had to wipe an area so I could see clearer. You can make sure your trucks are clean at every location!!!!!!!!! Thank You.
