The air conditioning did not work it was extremely uncomfortable without the air conditioning they said we would be compensated for it, and they would call us back no one ever did.Anthony M.

I reserved a 15' truck and a furniture dolly. No indication of confirmations prior to the day indicated they wouldn't have that for me. I arrive and they've got 1 truck - a 10'. And then they gave me a utility dolly instead of a furniture dolly. So, I was ripped off - paying extra for items I didn't receive. I didn't have time to run around 15+ miles to hope to find proper equipment, so I took it. LUCKILY we managed to make it fit, but I shouldn't have to stress and fret after reserving 1 thing and being handed something completely different and smaller/inferior.Katrina D.
I reserved the truck for Rome NY. Had to drive an hour away to Dolgeville and bring it back to Rome to load it. Other than that, it was a good experience.James D.

I had to pick a truck and at a different location I had to pick up a trailer. Picking up the truck was ok but when I went to pick up the trailer the gentleman that was supposed to help us was running another business as well and was overwhelmed so he could not help us at first and just showed us where the trailer was and expected me and my husband to set it up. We had no idea how to do it and tried to figure it out but no luck . Then we called the guy for help and he came . We had no time to waste because we had a long trip infron of us so wasting the time was not ideal Once the guy came he set it up but at first I had concerns on how he secured our personal car on the trailer . At first he said ," Oh that's ok." but soon after he realised it wasn't and fixed it. I understand he was the only one there running 2 business but I payed for a product and service and I deserved to be treated right and not waste my time or jeopardize my car by not securing it right.Nertila G.

I think it is pretty poor service, when you have called to confirm with your 800 number for a pick up, we moved from Little Falls, NY, and were supposed to get a 10 foot truck, however then we are told we have to drive 25 miles out of our way to pick up a truck in Dolgeville, NY get a 15 foot truck, and then on top of that, instead of getting it at the same rate at the 10 foot truck, since it was U-Haul who changed it I get dinged with extra costs. I think it is piss poor service. AND BECAUSE OF THIS CHANGE WHEN I GOT TO MY DROP OFF POINT, I HAD TO PAY MORE MONEY, WHY? WELL BECAUSE I HAD DRIVEN OVER MY MILEAGE.. WHY BECAUSE I HAD TO PICK UP IN DOLGEVILLE, DRIVE THE DAMN THING 25 MILES TO GET TO WHERE I WAS MOVING FROM. YOU PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO GET YOUR ACT STRAIGHT AND ON TOP OF THAT LOOK AT A MAP, I COULD SEE THE U-HAUL PLACE I WAS SCHEDULED TO PICK UP AT (JOHN'S GARAGE ON ROUTE 5 IN LITTLE FALLS, NY) FROM MY BACK YARD WHERE I WAS MOVING FROM. IT REALLY SUCKS THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT PUNISHED FOR YOUR SCREW UP AND NOT LOOKING AT A MAP.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and your truck I picked up had a break light out on the rear passenger side. If i was to have had gotten a ticket you bet your ass that you would of paid for itNICHOLE B.

To me I do not think the unit was ever looked over. It was parked in the same place the day I inquired for a rental. Two days later when I picked the unit up it was in the same place outside the gate.RICHARD M.
This has nothing to do with the location. UHAUL has got to get their shit together. I had reserved a tow dolly, was told it was there. When I arrived to pick it up, it was not there. I wound up being on the phone for over a half an hour with you. I was hung up on at least four times. No one knew anything in regards to my situation. If this is how you handle a simple tow dolly, I would hate to see how you handle your larger trucks. I am anticipating a long distance move in June, and after my experience with you yesterday, I will not be using you again. I have never been so disappointed in any company, as I was yesterday.CINDY C.
