Charles HPicked up 5 ft. x 8 ft. trailer AV9081B on 1/31/2022 in Sprindale, Arkansas. 2 day rental. Schedule to drop trailer off in Newport, Arkansas on 2/2/2022. Ice Storm hit that very day shutting down most of the State for several days. Drop off location advised and allowed delayed check-in due to icy road conditions. Trailer AV9081B dropped off at UHaul Newport on 1/7/2022 at 1:00 p.m. Location closed but advised of drop-off and acknowledged for check-in. Trailer was obviously stolen off the Newport lot before it was checked in. Turned up in Geneva, Ohio on 3/25/2022. $1,473.15 was debited from Carlyle checking account, charging 46 late days of rental. Need help now correcting this UHaul mistake, PLEASE! $1,473.15 to be REFUNDED NOW!!!
BENJAMIN CThe location would have received a better rating from me, except that the key lock boxes, were right underneath the roof - with no gutter and very short eaves, and were totally covered with ice. Unlocking it and retrieving my key was a bear. I'm not sure why it wasn't on the porch next to the key return box. Also, the online pickup and return process was - in my opinion - a big failure. The person I talked to on the phone to set it up never entered my email address and as a result, I could 'pick up' the truck before hours because the online process wouldn't work. I had to call and talk to someone to get them to fix it. THEN, when I came to return the truck, the website was not working and I had to call again and talk to someone on the phone to get it returned. The plus side was that the people who helped me on the phone were super helpful and problem solvers and I was grateful for their good customer service. But it doesn't change the fact that my online "after-hours" pickup and return was a big failure.
David Y1) I am 75 years old and when I went to drop off trailer at 24 hr. location for drop off...there was no one to help me because facility was vacant and there was no tongue jack on trailer, no space that I could see for parking, pouring down rain and hurt my back trying to lift tongue which I could not at 7pm 17Feb22, ASAP, 112 16th street, wheeling wv. I had to trailer home thirty miles and back the next day for an extra 60 mile trip. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and my back is still hurting. I even called UHaul for help and no one could help me in my situation on thursday evening.
Rodger BThis was a very small Shed store, little to no uhaul signage but the location was very convenient for us. We didn’t know where to park or what to do, no text or email came, I had to log back into my account, then my location wouldn’t register, so thankfully it wasn’t after hours and a man came to help. Again, a good process in theory if all the internal systems were communicating & working.
ROBERT TI would not recommend using the 24/7 Uhaul service if you have a fair cell phone signal without a Wi-Fi available to use. Picture uploads and server speed put me behind 1 1/2 hours on my move.
Benjamin ZOur main issue was with the uhaul mobile reservation system and I was charged twice for the rental insurance.

RENEE PI really wanted a 15' truck, but (as before) none were available. The 20' truck worked okay, but the gas mileage (10 mpg) really sucked.

ANDREW Kdon't hire movers that you recommend, they damaged furniture, doorways, a TV and more.. They were an hour late, finished in 2 hours and we paid for 4, no refund and the truck rental was more than I thought it would be.

Kim GTwo weeks in a row I rented from the same location and dropped off at the same location. Both times I added more gas than I really had to. The first week there was no additional charge. The second rental I get an email saying there is some bs additional charge of $10.21. What kind of crap is this. Not sitting well with me.
KENNETH Fnot much at all. The owner Gary even let me keep my vehicle I towed to ohio under one of his own personal carports for the evening when we dropped the trailer off first so we could unload.My window in my trailored vehicle was smashed out during the trip and it was raining when I arrived in Geneva ohio. Gary offered me to keep my vehicle under his own personal carport free of charge until the next morning when I dropped the truck off. Highly recommend dropping off your rental at this drop off in Geneva ohio.
