There was no fuel in the truck. Light was on for low fuel. Had to stop for gas before I left the area. Would have appreciated a full tank to start and then refilled to that level.

OBINNA EThe cab of the truck was not clean. It should be vacuumed after every use and everything wiped down. The box was not clean either. However there was a dolly and a couple of boxes that someone could have used. There were no blankets in the bag that was to have a blanket in it. It was nice to be able to pick up the vehicle on short notice and easy to drive.
CHERYL LStaff called me int the morning saying that I need to return the trailer in the morning, that it was expected so. One the first email it said so; However, I asked if later in the day is fine. He said yes. And then I found another email saying it can be dropped off at 5pm. Inconsistent response.

DALLAS KThe self serve pickup app function was glitchy, the gelocation service did not work. It took two hours and a live chat to finally get the truck pickup process working. The lock box had a lock that was old and took another 10 minutes to unlock.
Aaron DMy first reservation was for a 9:00 am Saturday pickup. The store was not even open until 10:00 am and then at 10:21, the store still not being open, I received an email saying pickup was now 11:00 am. Further there were zero trucks in the parking area. We were not impressed as we had movers awaiting our arrival. We then arranged another pickup. It was via the app which would not work on my phone. I keep getting an "error" message every time I tried to sign in. My wife was finally able to make it work on her phone after being in touch with you app group. We finally arrived home some 3.5 hrs later than we were supposed to. We paid to have our movers sit for those 3.5 hours! We were and are VERY unhappy about the whole situation. Without compensation for our frustration and out of pocket expenses this will be the LAST time we use Uhaul! The actual pickup at Genesis was fine. Other than the issue with the download of the app, the location pickup and dropoff was good.
BOB PNo where to park trailer. Got the run around on drop off location. Brutal experience and way too expensive. $225 for a 4x8 trailer. Could've rented a pick up truck for cheaper.
Briab PBooked for pickup at the 17th street centre but had to go to the Genesis Auto office. This added an extra 40 kms and there were no blankets. The pick up overall was great and the drop off was smooth and painless.
David KService representative was kind and professional, though as usual, the truck had issues, a yellow light on dash indicating service. The windscreen and hood were iced up, and there was no fluid for the windshield wash. It would have been kind to have the truck started and de-iced and serviced.

kevin BThe parking brake couldn't be pulled out, stuck on the bottom, so the Parking brake alarm and alert light were constantly on, and the truck could move only rev the RPM up to 3000. The truck was buried in the snow bank, and stuck in the snow when I tried to move it out. All above means it have been parked there for long time without maintenance. And the recipiant ask you not park your personal car in their store's parking lots, only allowed to park by the street, he told me the reason that I better park there is where is a survailant camera right covers the street.
Bizhong WThe truck was still dirty and had to sweep before loading, driver side door had a huge gap and wouldn't close properly. Needed and rented a dolly but there wasn't one to use when I got there.

danilo mFound a note in the dropbox saying to park vehicles on the street, I noticed this after dropping off the keys. However the UHaul app indicates to park vehicle at location in the parking lot ensuring not to block exits or doors. Two different instructions.
HEBERT MI have issue with fuel level. I did online check in and uhaul didn't ask me to check fuel level. And when I called your help centre to know how much fuel I should fill in, they asked me quarter to fuel. It took 52 ltrs fuel for me whereas I only drove 40 miles. So 52 let's fuel for 40 miles doesn't seem logical. I called your department today to dispute it but she wrote an email to area fuel manager. I was been told that I'll get a call from them. I am waiting for the call now.
DIVYESHKUMAR DThe first location I arranged a truck rental with seemed to be closed with no one around and it took over an hour to get u-haul to find an alternate pick up location and PDQ while I was paying for moving labour sitting around. Genesis was just around the corner from my original puck up location and they were great. Certainly went the extra distance after my first pick up location failed miserably!
