Jeffrey BilelloThe original pick-up location was scheduled for: Otter Self Storage 9190 Parkway Dr Baton Rouge, LA 70810 When I arrived, no one was at the office. However, there was one (1) U-Haul truck (which was the same size I reserved) parked in the parking lot. When I called Otter Self Storage using the phone number on the office door, they told me that they do not work with U-Haul anymore. This is despite the fact that that a U-Haul truck was parked at their location. After several phone calls to U-Haul, they were able to find a suitable truck at another location nearby. The other location (Gardere St) was an old and dirty corner market. The worker was professional and nice. The truck received was in very good condition and clean. However, it only had just over 1/4 tank of gas. Overall, a bad experience during the pick-up process due to the truck not being available at the originally scheduled pick-up location. Time was lost on move day.

Melissa Flataupick up location was a liquor store. I had to stand in the doorway for an inordinate time, while customers were served before and during my transaction. Rendering service seemed like a boring nuisance to them. The lot next door was being flooded and was marshy.

dave HebertI had to pay someone to unhitch the trailer because they wouldn't unhitch it for me. I have had 3 back surgeries and I needed assistance. In all the years I have used UHaul I have NEVER received such inconsiderate treatment. I will NEVER return another trailer at this location. I am also going to post this on Yelp!!

I would absolutely drive to this location to get my rental. I had to drive 30 mini to get there and I would do it again in the future.

Christopher Studervery friendly store owner and extended my pickup time when I was late.
Hing Chong ChowFirst I couldn't do the online check in for picking up my rental truck, so I had to go inside to check-in for the truck. Come to find out that despite having a week long reservation that included a utility dolly, all they had was a appliance dolly. Then when I had to check-in inside the guy added extras onto my charges without even asking. He changed the size of my truck yet I still only 10' truck but the paperwork stated that I received the 15' truck but I didn't. I had issues with check-in the truck when I was doing the return and ended up having to call the toll-free number to finally get my truck signed in. This location just seemed seriously sketching with how the it seems that the check in and check out was blocked while on site. The fact they didn't have all of my equipment and added additional charge I didn't approve.
