Location was chosen due to availability of the car dolly. Car dolly got the job done but the webbed straps were pretty worn. I told the guy about them and he said that he would put in a service order. Staff at this location were friendly and helpful. Uhaul’s telephone customer service was HORRIBLE!!! The dolly that I originally reserved was at a different location but I wasn’t able to get it because it was damaged. Had to call the 800# to move reservation to new location. After being put on hold and transferred 4 times in a 25 minute period, I was able to get reservation moved to the location that this survey was intended for.

I order service online with a preferred pick up site. The site I was given was 20 miles out of the way so I had to pay extra in gas and mileage. Probably will not use U-Haul next time for this reason

The service was quick and great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the location is quite sketchy. I would be scared to return the u-haul at night by myself.

on Thursday before a pick up on the 15 th i received a phone call that i now had to pick up at a different location. i went to that location on the 15th to be told that they had moved it to the 2509 Gardere Ln. location. i then drove back to that location to find the trailer but it had a lock on the door. no one could break it off so i then took the trailer and paid the hardware store $20.00 to break it off. it was a complete run around.

This drop-off location was in a liquor store in a bad part of town. This was the complete opposite of what we experienced at our pick-up site in Shreveport.

Drop off spot is incredibly run down with broken windows on the abandoned buildings. Sign showing uhaul drop off is tiny and hard to spot. Drop off box hidden on side of building without clear indication where it is.

They were extremely helpful when I desperately needed a truck. My initial reservation did not enter the correct information and there was no truck available at another location. When I called Gardere Meat Market, they immediately went to work helping me get what I needed. I will always use them if I ever need to move again!

This is not the location we booked but on arrival of the scheduled location, the clerk had no reservation for us. She called the company and was advised of the change to Gardere location. We did not receive a text or call from uhaul advising of this change. Waisted a lot of time for us and frustration as we are not familiar with Baton Rouge

The parking lot and store are in a run down area of town with broken glass windows and a messy parking lot but the employees were knowledgable and helpful and the transaction went smoothly.

This location was terrible. The place was slum. I checked in online but they still asked me a bunch of questions. They took over 30 mins to get me checked out. Apparently the printer did not work and they could not provide a written contract. The trailer was located in the back lot in 6" of water. The running lights stopped working half way to Houston. Very shady operation as I watched several questionable counter operations with other patrons as they came in and out while I was waiting.

Unprofessional. Uhaul wasn’t clean. Trailer lights didn’t work- had to use a different trailer. The guy put the trailer on and halfway through the drive the jack pin fell out and was dragging on the ground, creating sparks and if we would have hit a bump could have lost the trailer. Then, when unloading the vehicle at the destination, the trailer came completely off the ball and the back of it hit the ground. Very unsafe, I am very dissatisfied with the experience.

The location is in a terrible old strip mall with abandoned stores, gunshot holes in walls and windows, lots of trash and blight. The truck cab smelled terrible - mostly smoky. I had to Febreeze it twice and wipe down the entire cab with Lysol wipes. There was also a knit cap and sunglasses left in plain sight inside the truck presumably from the previous renter - proof that no one bothered to clean it before I rented it. The gentlemen who assisted me at the store were very cordial.

It was a fine place to drop a trailer. The clerk offered to help disconnect the trailer but it was not necessary.

I received an almost free tank truck and I filled the tank, wile I use less than a gallon and your store did not refund my money for gas!!!!!!!!!!!

The personnel at Gardere Meat Market were good. However, our original drop off location was supposed to be S and P Food Store on Gardere...and they were awful, rude, and the most unaccommodating people I've ever dealt with. When we arrived at S and P Food Store, we were told that they would not accept the truck (even though their location was on my contract.) Instead of trying to work out a serviceable solution, and accommodate the customer, the refused to take the truck. They insisted that I take the truck to Gardere Meat Market. Since I was going that way anyway, I did just that...reluctantly. However, if Gardere Meat Market would have refused to take the truck, I would have driven the truck right back to S and P and left it in their lot. The people at S and P were down right rude, ugly and embarrassing...and never apologized for my inconvenience They should have offered some sort of remorse...or even offer to take the truck somewhere themselves. They made their problem become my problem. (Even though they pulled it up in the system and knew I was right) When I pointed that out to them...that the drop off location was designated by U-haul and is not my problem...they told me that is just the way it is with U-Haul and that's how they do business. It was piss poor service and I'm shocked that U-Haul allows them to represent their company. It was bad enough for me to consider another rental service next time. The S and P staff were just terrible. I'm still pissed about the whole thing.

1. They were rude and over charged me even though I reserved online, got my price, and asked them to remove the extra charge (they didn't, nor did they give me a reason why they didn't) 2. They didn't show me which vehicle it was, they didn't inspect it with me, and the truck was DISGUSTING! There was a layer of filth I had to clean out in the back of the truck that included a lot of lawn debris, hair, dirt, and trash (including used bandages).

The trailer inside was Derry with sand and part gravel on the floor. The location is in a deplorable state all over, including inside the building, with broken glass all over and pot holes on the driveway. Having lived in the Middle East it reminded me of it, trashy and dirty. Although I live relatively close to the location, I would rather drive miles than re-use this location again.

The people at the rental facility were very nice and helpful but the trailer wiring was not adequate. The electrical shorted out my brake lights and that resulted in my ABS and gear shift locking up. Lots of problems over bad wiring in trailer

The truck was new and clean, however, the passenger side mirror was not secure and could not be set in place because the adjustment screw was missing. I had to tape the rear view mirror in position several times during my trip which added an additional 2 hours to my trip!

I'm extremely grateful for the gentleman who assisted me with this trailer I got in very late to my location and had no one to help me offload the last two heavy items from the trailer. He helped me carry them into the back of my truck-bed. Then disconnected the trailer for me empathazing my moving on my own and very tired. Huge kudos to him!
