I had made a reservation online. When I arrived at this location to pick up my vehicle, the owner seemed to add other options I did not ask for. Thankfully customer service was able to redact those charges.Adam S.

Extremely disappointed and out raged! From the beginning I was given incorrect miles rate to start with as 0.69/mile is what I was told, then had to pay 0.99/mile, the store guy said the truck has damages, yet I insisted to check it and found the front bumper was beaten up, seems he wanted to cover up something, so when I told him about it and he said "oh don't worry about it" so that was a trap and good I insisted to check, he charged me protection coverage which I didn't ask for as my own insurance coverage has me covered, I guess he wanted to cover up some mess was done to the truck using my protection coverage "that's phishing" like random fraud hacker. I also took pics of the dash board before and after miles with total of 24 miles, he wanted to charge me for 38 miles, he had my credit card details regardless of the evidence I provided because he didn't even bother to look at the dashboard, I had to call customer service to get refunded, even when I questioned his actions and dishonesty he insulted me and kick me out of the store to cover up for the 15 miles and other fraud actions he wanted to charge me with no reason. I consider this as "THEFT", I really hope that the U-haul company will stop the truck rental business with this store as I have no longer a bit of trust in this rental process to give my Credit card to a fraud person and cheater such as this store who has all the control to throw in numbers and take my money with no right. PLEASE open an investigation, I got pics and evidence to support my claim and I hope U-haul will end this fraud actions made by this store and anyone like him. Overall, this was a nightmare dealing with U-haul despite being a regular customer to U-haul. I spoke to the U-haul customer service Toll free number and asked for a manager, they said wait for the district manager to contact, I hope to get that call and get compensated for the disrespect, humiliation and fraud I encountered with the store, also never let any customer fall into the same trap by using this store, all I ask new customers if you insist to use this store 1. Take pics of the dash board before and after. 2. Calculate your miles because he will charge you the miles he want to as he has you credit card so you have no control. 3. - Fix lock box (I was unable to return vehicle at my desired time.) - Staff member was generally rude. (Attempted to give away my reserved vehicle 2 minutes after I confirmed I was en route to location for pick up. While picking up vehicle, staff paused to assist other customers with lotto tickets and purchases. Upon returning was providing correction to my parking before I had stopped moving the vehicle / assuming I was a different customer) - COVID protocols were inconsistent. No sanitizer available. The owner who helped or tried to help sent me 4 e mail confirmations. He asked for a third person with a phone number. I have rented several vehicles from your company and never been asked for a third party number. He never asked the questions if I required extra equipment. It took 20 minutes for him from start to finish. Was not happy with this. It should have been easier than this. I think that I was over charged. $70 for 2 hrs. Is he pocketing the money.Janet M.

One thing i dont understand is why i was charged 59 cents a km when the rates say 49 cents for a van online. Also, i think the van should come with a full tank of gas. What if i had a lot of driving to do? I dont get rembursed if i leave more gas in it then there was when i pick up. So im limited to a gas tank half the size and range unless i want to risk leaving too much gas in it which i dont get credited for. Plus i used the guide to estimate how many litres to put in and it was slightly short.jason T.

U-Haul is a bunch of crooks it says 1995 per day then you add on all these other charges that are no need of and end up costing over double what's wrote on the van or truck even if you only have it for an hour or two out rages not pleased with u- haul at all never use them againron M.
The only issue I had was that I booked online and it was not made clear where the pick up was. I had asked for the one near my home and did not know until I went to the wrong pick up place. Otherwise the gentleman at the smart was wonderful.Sandra S.
Only problem I had was with where the van was parked. The van was parked nose towards the building, at the extreme right of the small parking lot. There was a vehicle parked close beside it and poles behind and along the sides of the lot. It was a tight squeeze backing it up. We'd had quite a bit of snow lately so it was hard to see where the boundaries of the lot were.Rosi H.
