The whole experience was horrible. We reserved a truck to be picked up in Ellensburg , they called the day before and said they didn't have a truck and we would have to go to Yakima to pick up I don't feel like we should have tp pay the mileage between Ellensburg and Yakima and the additional mile as from Ellensburg back to Yakima ( approx 80 miles ) this was Ellensburg U-Haul error. Furthermore when we picked up the truck in Yakima we said we only needed it for 24 hours we asked the owner what time we Need to have it back on Sunday he said it doesn't matter because we aren't open anyway. When we got the bill we were charge for today. I feel we are due a refund for the 80 miles and a refund for 1 day . Also when we made a stop after picking it up we noticed the gas cap was not secure there we were losing gas. If I don't here from you within 24 hours I will be filing a review on yelp as wellROBERT S.

Not a reflection on Friendly Automotive (who were professional and prepared), I would never recommend U-haul to a friend due to the reservation policy (it is not a reservation, despite the name... Only a "request"). You are not guaranteed a vehicle, truck size, or location... And they will not notify you of the lack of availability until 24-48 hours prior to pickup date. Which means, if you have a set moving date, you are just out of luck.Laura G.
The pick up location was great. However, U-Haul overall was not helpful. I had the worse experience. I was called the day before our rental and was told the only truck available was located 2hours in the wrong direction. I then received poor customer service from the U-Haul rep. This was an extreme inconvenience. The fact that you say a truck is available and then its not but then you don't offer any other help is just unacceptable.Jason W.

1. Whomever rented the truck prior was a smoker. I wish that people wouldn't smoke but that is hard to do. 2. Every time we need to rent a truck or van we have to go thru 1/2 an hour of paper work. Driver license, credit car etc. even when we have already done it prior when reserving the vehicle. It is a waste of time. Can you keep a file so that we don't need to go through all of this again? The location for pickup was extremely helpful. The problem was with your online reservations for the truck. They put me at a mail n"more store, a few businesses east of the location I finally ended up at. Mail n" More said they did have your affiliation anymore. I had requested a 20-foot van, they did happen to have a 15-footer, even though they did not know of my reservation. I did use and rent.the 15-foot van. This business did a representation of your name. They did apologize on your behalf.Anthony P.
