Be told by the location that the parking lot is very limited in pulling in or out. We had to take the trailer across the street to drop off the broken trailer and the service guy had to bring a new trailer over to us.Robert M.
Motor vehicles should delivered full of fuel and returned in the same manner. This assists the customer in a trip without having to quickly stop for fuel or have to guess when to fuel for the return. This is consistent with other vehicle rental policies.Gary J.

I drove 7 miles. Got charged for 7 miles. I put gas in the vehicle and brought a receipt. I got charged for 11 gallons of gas. How does driving 7 miles take 11 gallons? It doesn't. Something isn't right. Refund requested.David W.

Very nice and polite. Only suggestion I have is when you rent the 26 foot truck that they tell you that you will be charged a fee for using the dolly and blankets. I am handicapped and can not get in the truck to read anything about this. I have a dolly of my own but the people helping me move used it. They don't speak or understand much English. Had I known there was a fee I would have told them not to use it. I'm on social security and this was not budgeted for. That was $10 that I was going to use on something else.Bonnie M.

I was told that the truck was cleaned, however, it was not and I had to clean it first to be able to move a mattress in the truck. I took pictures with my cell phone if you would like to see them. Friendly Automotive definitely lives up to their name! Everybody is very kind. This was my first time renting a cargo trailer from U-Haul and the entire experience was a breeze. From the rental, to the pick up, to the drop off it couldn't have gone any smoother. I rented a 5 x 8 enclosed trailer to haul a couch and it was the perfect size and the trailer was very east to tow. I will definitely use the U-Haul location at Friendly Automotive West next time I need a trailer.peggy K.

My only complaint with the location is the truck parking area. There is really no area. For the average driver, it is impossible to back it in to on of the spots. Having a bigger parking area would make it easier for the customers to park when returning the truck. Truck was very clean, customer service was very friendly. ps, I didn't even try to back it in.Erin C.

The whole experience was horrible. We reserved a truck to be picked up in Ellensburg , they called the day before and said they didn't have a truck and we would have to go to Yakima to pick up I don't feel like we should have tp pay the mileage between Ellensburg and Yakima and the additional mile as from Ellensburg back to Yakima ( approx 80 miles ) this was Ellensburg U-Haul error. Furthermore when we picked up the truck in Yakima we said we only needed it for 24 hours we asked the owner what time we Need to have it back on Sunday he said it doesn't matter because we aren't open anyway. When we got the bill we were charge for today. I feel we are due a refund for the 80 miles and a refund for 1 day . Also when we made a stop after picking it up we noticed the gas cap was not secure there we were losing gas. If I don't here from you within 24 hours I will be filing a review on yelp as wellROBERT S.

Not a reflection on Friendly Automotive (who were professional and prepared), I would never recommend U-haul to a friend due to the reservation policy (it is not a reservation, despite the name... Only a "request"). You are not guaranteed a vehicle, truck size, or location... And they will not notify you of the lack of availability until 24-48 hours prior to pickup date. Which means, if you have a set moving date, you are just out of luck.Laura G.
The pick up location was great. However, U-Haul overall was not helpful. I had the worse experience. I was called the day before our rental and was told the only truck available was located 2hours in the wrong direction. I then received poor customer service from the U-Haul rep. This was an extreme inconvenience. The fact that you say a truck is available and then its not but then you don't offer any other help is just unacceptable.Jason W.
