I showed up and the person on site gave me a hard time about a mask then my reservation was cancelled by a rep on live chat. Then I was charged more on the milage than my original reserve so instead of paying 99 cents I paid $1.09 which is wrong. And then I was charged $99 when my bill should have been around $60 I even left mire gas in it than it had to start. This needs to be investigated. I spoke with a woman named Jamie who said I wouldn't be charged more since it wasn't my fault my reservation was cancelled by a U-Haul rep. But I was still charged an excessive amount and then I wasn't even able to return the truck on your website because navigating it was so confusing and it kept glitching. I really feel I'm owed some compinsation!Terry B.

The representative at this location was great. I didn't originally choose this location, but received a text that I had to pick up the truck there instead. This location was very out of the way and a long drive, adding to the gas and mileage I accrued. This is more of a reflection on UHaul, and not the individual location. After dropping off my U-Haul rental, I made contact with the worker. She had a very rude tone to her voice and asked if I had completed the mobile version truck rental return? I told her I was not aware of that step and asked her if she could complete it herself. She then asked me to attempt to use the app on my phone. I did in fact locate the directions to perform the rental and completed all of the steps. At the end, I asked her about my dozen rented pads and the towing trailer. She informed me that my guess is as good as hers and she had no idea. I washed my hands of the situation as long as I am not overcharged and walked away.JOSEPH S.

As a first time renter I felt that the location who took my order should have done a better job informing me what needed to be done. I happened to stop in at the location 2 weeks prior and they told me about needing to have the connection for the lights and a ball for my hitch. I would not have had either one if I had not stopped. This should have been told to me when I rented. They also did not inform me that I would have to connect the trailer myself to the hitch. I came unprepared and had to go back home for assistance. Fortunately I gave myself enough time and everything worked out. But if I had been on a tighter schedule it could have been an issueDarla P.

The truck I rented was not built to accommodate a 6 foot 4 inch person. My knees were against the dashboard and I could not adjust the outside mirrors to meet my safety requirements. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE for an 8 hour drive.Frank K.

We were told by customer service to be there by 6 when they closed. I got there at 5:49 and when I pulled in the lady was sitting her car and said â€œwere closed what did you need?â€ I explained what UHaul said over the phone and she got out with an attitude saying she doesn't know why Uhaul does this. I had a great experience with uhaul and the actual equipment but the location I would never go back to.brian S.

The truck was not swept out. I had to sweep it out at home, there was a dirty sock and left over debris. We were told multiple times by Kathy she was 1 minute or 2 minutes from opening. We were there a couple mins early but didnt expect her to help us until 9:30am. The fuel was just under a half tank but I still signed for 1/2 tank. She was complaining the entire time about the Uhaul software system. I don't think complaining to customers about Uhaul's own internal software is professional.Dennis L.
The women working took forever to wait on me while she was doing paperwork. We had folded the covers, but did not bag. She then took 10 minutes to re-park the truck and bag the covers. She did not care about the customers time, rather hers only. The process should be to check the gas gauge and then process the paperwork and get the customers out the door. I had to wait 20-30 minutes when it could have taken 10, max. If she would have been busier, this would not be sustainable. Terrible service and experience.Brandon M.

Friendly, thorough, informative and actually made sure to help set the mirrors before leaving to ensure safety. I had to drive about 4-5 miles out of m y way to get the truck then back the same amount of miles to return the truck this cost me money and upset me the place was pleasant in understanding but said they could do nothing about the extra mileage.jamie S.
Maybe have two employees working so when a customer is being waited on and another customer comes in to drop keys off or to pick up a truck no one has to wait or be interrupted. This happened when we were picking up our truck. The lady behind the desk that waited on us was very pleasant I just felt bad because the gentleman that came in was very impatient. The customer service was horrendous. Cathy (the front desk representative) was very rude. I had asked for assistance in connecting the auto transport and she refused to assist. Mary Rose (the other front desk representative) assisted as best should could; she was very polite and also embarrassed by Cathy's attitude. Comments from Cathy such as: "It's U-haul, not We Haul" "Here's the directions; you can hook it up yourself to your little heart's content" left me frustrated and feeling helpless. Only when I explained that it could be very dangerous if not hooked up correctly, that Mary Rose called the manager and he came out to assist. When he got there, it was discovered that the safety chain was defective and he had to replaced. We finally got my the transport hooked up and my car loaded but it was very disheartening to encounter such incompetence. Last but not least, when I dropped off at Two Notch Rd. in Columbia, it was discovered that this location overlooked the bolts on the safety chain which had one missing (very dangerous!). The rep. at Two Notch Rd. was very polite and reported this finding to the corporate office.BRIEN B.

This rental was for an Auto Transport trailer. My only complaint is that this location for the trailer pickup was 13 miles from the pickup location for the U-Haul truck that I got to pull it. It required a 26-mile round trip to get this trailer.Eric S.
