Daniel WThis one-way rental trailer has an intermittent short in the lights. I found out 200 miles down the road, in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. Problem with lights on the trailer. No running lights, no brake lights, one turn signal still worked.. More importantly, the short damaged my vehicle's electrical system, and I had to replace the electronic trailer converter module; half a day delay in my trip, and some expense that U-Haul is resisting reimbursing me for. When a trailer comes in with the previous renter reporting a problem, do not send it out again unfixed.

DAVID RWhat a waste your reservation process is. It is moving day and I am closing accounts, taking trash to the dump etc. I get a call that I have to go an hour further to get my trailer instead of five minutes. I ask for a discount or something to offset the headache and expense of another 100+ miles of driving (at least $30 dollars of gas alone,) We can not do that..... Where is the value of the customer in your company? I was packing until 9:00 just because of you idiots.
ALEXANDER ZIt was extremely helpful to have access to a U-Haul in West Liberty, IA. This eliminated a long drive for pick up in Muscatine or Iowa City. Hats off to the helpful folks at Fred's Feed. They always say "If they don't have it at Fred's, you don't need it!" Now you can add U-Haul rentals to that list.👍👍
THOMAS AYour reservation department sucks. I made a reservation to pick up a trailer in Coralville, IA. Two days prior to the "pick up" date, I reserved a motel room very close to the U-Haul in Coralville. The one day before the "pick up date", the U-Haul reservation guy calls and tells me the only trailer available is 20 miles away. It took me an extra hour to pick the trailer up. If I would have known the pick up location changed a day sooner, I would have been able to change my motel reservation to a location near the "new" pickup location. A days notice of a change in location is not good.

TAMI JThis location and 1 more “ same distance “ we’re the only choices I had to choose from. I was expecting Iowa city, Iowa Or Coralville, Iowa to have a drop-off site. I know they do for fact, but I couldn’t choose a place close. Instead drove 20 extra miles to drop off here.
