Overall, it was a good experience. The only hickup was when I started the engine and shifted into drive gear, the message "driver door open " appears although I made sure both doors are closed and lock buttons are pushed down. I suspected it was a sensor problem and then reported the problem to the lady who handled the rent transaction. She called a tecnician /engineer who told me to take pictures and ignore the message. The truck drove well and it seems that the message disappeared when the engine is warm enough.

Fuel tank was 1/4 full when received, although on contract it showed slightly higher. Filled truck to 1/4 before returning and upon returning was advised to fill the tank to the amount showed on contract, which was inaccurate. As fuel levels are arbitrarily measured I felt it was unfair and unreasonable that I had to drive to the nearest gas station, burn more gas while doing so, to put $5 in the tank so it was full to the inaccurate fuel level shown the contract.

Helpful staff but lots of issues trying to get checked out for the rental. The cashier had to re-enter my information at least 4 times. Perhaps the app she had to use was not functioning smoothly.

I find U-Haul price advertising misleading. Advertising that a U-Haul truck costs $19.95 per day to rent and then having that be less than half the total cost leaves me feeling deceived and unhappy, despite the rest of the experience being positive. I now feel distrustful of U-Haul. I have another rental and storage booked already, but am thinking that after that I may not do business with U-Haul again.

Check Engine light was on on the truck. Fuel level on the truck was not as indicated on the contract Fuel estimation chart was very pessimistic - I put in the recommended amount and it seemed like I had put in twice the amount of fuel required.

This location was unfortunate and overcrowded. There was a 12 person and 15 minute wait as this is a location at a post office. The customer service was slow as the person serving us was on their personal phone throughout. Due to the large line we were not taken for a walk-around. We were told not to return the u-haul to the location afterhours as this would more than likely result in the u-haul being stolen. We intended to return it after our move in the evening but instead were told we could not return it until the next day after 9:30am. I would not recommend this location or u-haul in general.

The location was not open on Sunday and I was advised to do an online return. The app just didn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S8 so I have to call in. Calling in was great.

- Vehicle has bird poop on it - Vehicle has a funky smell - Neither the payer or the driver was shown the KM driven, so that number was sent to us later, included $11 charge for gas. The meter did not indicate that low for us while we were in the vehicle. We feel overcharged. I'd consider alternative rental service in the future.

There was an issue with your payment site that meant i had to wait for 60 min before the shop keeper could process my request and print the contract. They also did not have the dolly/trolly i ordered with the truck and the truck came without a lock so i could not lock the back. Over all i was very disappointed uhaul and would not use uhaal again in the future. Ben bsc.benbradford@gmail.com

It’s in a mail store which is hard to find. You would never know from the outside. Also the guy tried to get me to bring it back early so he could rebook it after i had already booked for the whole day.

This location charges an enormous markup on Uhaul branded moving supplies from prices provided on your website, and prices for the same are not clearly advertised. Similarly, I returned the truck late and expected a late fee, but the fee charged seemed entirely arbitrary and was in fact more than 250% than the fee to rent the truck itself. I have used Uhaul trucks and purchased Uhaul products from several different places in the past and will definitely reconsider using your company's services again in the future.

I was not provided with the right truck that I had reserved. Have to rent another truck. To top it off the rep I spoke to didn’t give me the $50 guarantee. Had to talk to another rep to get the $50. Pretty unhappy about the dishonesty of the reps for uhual. As the policy should be known to them instead of being lied to And now I have to spend more money to hire people to do the job again as the van I got wasn’t enough to complete the job.

We were set up to do the "quick" check in where you use your phone to get the door unlocked, but what they dont tell you is if your a first time customer you aren't able to do that so we wasted a ton of time trying to get that working only to be told we had to go inside anyway. VERY annoying. Also absolutely crazy fees, avoid at all costs it sucks. That being said, the man working at this location was lovely and very helpful. Just unimpressed with the fees and the stupid check in process.

Waited +45mins to pick up van. "System problems" equated to staff not knowing how to process the rental. Booked online for Davie location and received txt in the morning of pickup to go to this location, which was out of the way and outside of downtown.

The truck was not ready when I arrived. The person working at the location wasn't familiar with Uhaul rentals. It took me an hour to get the truck and I ended up missing my ferry. It'd be nice if Uhaul payed for my time lost.

I had booked a van through the mobile app as the location was closed for the day. Upon arriving, the app continued to crash. When I finally got it, I was told that the vehicle that I had booked had not been prepared for me. I then had to call u-haul where I was put on hold over and over (however, the CR was very nice) and then told that I was switched to a 10 foot truck. I DID NOT WANT A TEN FOOT TRUCK. I requested the CR to look for a van available in the area but she didn't do anything. As I logged into my app (again) to set up the pick up, it continued to crash and ask me to re-upload photos. I ended up spending significantly more than I intended to because a) fuel is not as efficient in a giant truck, b) it costs 59 cents a km and c) I DIDN'T WANT THE TRUCK IN THE FIRST PLACE. I hope to have this issue resolved and a refund.

The self serve pickup and retrieval of the truck was very efficient, but only if there were. I problems. I didn't like not having an actual person to talk to. While the van appeared very clean visually, it had a strong unpleasant smell. Since I had already checked off that it seemed clean upon visual inspection, I did not mention it on my self serve pickup or return. However, upon sweeping it out getting ready to return it, I discovered evidence In the corners that a previous renter had used it to haul soil -I'm guessing nice rich manure-y stuff. They had obvious cleaned it to the best of their ability, but the door remained. But the location could be better: The name Fraser speedway shipping does not appear anywhere at this location. This appears to be a self-serve only location which is fine, as long as it is clear to customers not to expect something different. (I tried going into the store at the address (which did say they dealt with u-haul, but was named something different than Fraser speedway shipping) and after waiting in line they told me to use the self checkout to return the truck. I had questions about my bill, but felt I had no one to ask and had spent long enough trying to figure out how to checkout and was running out of time. However, other than the confusion and returning the truck, and the smell, the equipment was new and well maintained, and a pleasure to drive.

I used self pick up service and everything was in order. There is one thing that I think it makes the service better. The van interior smelled badly (I think this is universal for all U-Haul cargo vans ??). Second, the number of vans that is available in this

It fundamentally unfair that early rentals are capped at a fixed time. I rented a 10' van and was given 4 hours. Someone else was allowed to book after me, so it was a hard limit. Yet, the person that booked after me, starting the rental in the afternoon would be free to keep the van into the evening and even overnight, since the location would close before their 4 hours are up. I was in such a rush, I barely got half of what I wanted done. I think all rentals should be by the day. Rent out anytime of the day, return by start of business the next day. This would be fair.

Made us wait 40 Mins to process our rental, not only is it for uhaul rental, it's also a post office and a convenience store. Even after taking so long, (our rental was supposed to be from 1-4) she said we could have til 5. She never changed it in the system so I automatically got charged for a "late" fee. I am still waiting to get a confirmation that I'm getting this back.

Understaffed location. One employee is working the til for three different companies. She runs the post office, convenience store and the Uhaul rental operations. There's always a lineup and the employee is not to blame. Perfect example of a corporation trying to squeeze every penny they can out of understaffing. I feel sorry for your employees and would not reccomend this sort of operation to anybody I know.

Hello When I returned the truck back to this location , I saw a Uhaul van parked at two parking stalls and I could not park at all , Because there was no room to park, so I called the phone no and hopefully manager came out and helped me, overall was good, but for mini truck should reserve a good space for parking stall, and one more thing and matter is at the time to give the key for vehicle to customer should demonstrate 2 minutes for driving. Thanks

It would be helpful to label the sections to lockers are easier to find. It's also extremely hot in there that I end up leaving in frustration without finding why I need in storage. It seems as though the rates increased by $15 without my knowledge. I would move my stuff out to a cheaper facility if my life wasn't so crazy at the moment .

Air fresheners and signs not allow smokig inside the vehicle, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Slightly widen the parking stalls. The stalls are very narrow.

This location had a bad services. First, you have to waiting for picking up the truck, second if there is another customer to buy things from this store, you have to waiting again. It is not first come first serve services. The important thing is there is a hidden fee when you dive a less 50 miles, it is terrible. U-Haul should tell customer first and NOT charge custom directly when dropping the truck. $90.47 for driving 32 kms per day!

I was forced to take safe move other wise they would have cancelled my reservation. even though the location was already late 3 hours late on the scheduled time. the safe move insurance is an option !, Ill never come back to this location ever again. This has to be by far the best experience we have had with U-Haul. The woman at Fraser Speedway Shipping was perfection. She is what would bring us back to that location. She was funny, very helpful, and made the experience a pleasure. I would recommend this location to anyone.

I signed up for four hours of use, but was forced to return the Van within 2-2.5 hours. I would have loved to start earlier in the day, but I was forced to start at 3:15, which then ended up being after 3:30 because he wasn't ready yet. Luckily I found out an alternative for the 2nd part of what I was initially going to use this Van for.
