I took my dodge van which has a retractable ramp for a wheelchair. It also has a lowered running boards. Per U-Haul pre rental instructions I took the car to Frank's Marathon for inspection. The owner acted surprised that I was asking but said it should be alright. The plastic cover on both left and right side running boards cracked, apparently from tubing against the dolly when the truck turned corners. When I showed it to Frank's Marathon owner he said “that's why I always tell people not to use a car dolly when they have customized vehicles and that I should have rented a four wheeler trailer “. I guess I'll make an insurance claim on my personal insurance.

I overpaid on gas because the gas needle was not moving. Would have been nice to maybe get a credit or something for overpayment. But overall still satisfied and will return if needed.

It was a great over all experience! I had to unexpectedly rent a large van, and was able to reserve one quickly at this location. Everyone was very helpful, and the van was very clean and well kept.

Convenient and close location with efficient friendly staff. I'm a repeat customer and have several more rentals in the future... and Frank's marathon will be my first choice.

Make the app user friendly and faster. Upon pickup I had to spend 30 minutes trying to find the truck, take pictures, and provide alternate forms of contact where UHaul called a family member of mine in the middle of the night all while trying to navigate a slow and difficult app before getting on the road. Ultimately I had to go inside where the helpful staff got me taken care of in only a couple minutes. PLEASE IMPROVE THE APP.

I reserved my Uhaul for pick up at the 3919 Parkway Ln Hilliard location and received an email confirming this. The day of my rental, I get a text message telling me my reservation is for the 3116 Riverside Dr Columbus location. While it ended up working out, I am not appreciative of having my confirmed reservation changed; particularly since I was not in a position to fight Uhaul about the change.

The online portion took too long to process. Had I known that I needed WiFi to complete that portion in under 1/2 hour, I would have done so before leaving home. I lost a significant portion of my reserved 4 hours waiting on the website to load each step of the Check-in process.

The location is great and the ease at which I was able to reserve, pickup and return the truck earns Frank's a favorable rating. However, in the midst of the pandemic, I was surprised that the person behind the counter did not wear a mask, and the two gentlemen in the store discussing Ferrari's were also not wearing masks. They were within 6 feet of one another. There were no signs asking people to maintain a 6 ft distance and no visual signs that the owner is looking out for the safety of customers or employees (as far as COVID is concerned). The truck did not appear to have been wiped down before I used it. There were fingerprints on the chrome surfaces, and based on the amount of dirt on the paper towel I used to wipe down handles and steering wheel, it appeared as if parts of the truck that are commonly touched were not cleaned. I can recommend on ease of rental but not on cleanliness.

1. This pickup location does not inspect their vehicles or even check tire pressure. The truck I picked up had a blown tire and then they tried to blame me for it when I brought it back. No, it was not obvious at pickup because the trucks have dual rear wheels. When I returned it I explained that all I did was drive 3 miles down the road to load it and they guy said we must have curbed it and that it definitely wasn't their fault. Thankfully we had roadside assistance and they resolved the issue. 2. The owner was helpful, but the employees are not cordial. If someone walks into your facility, at the very least they should be greeted and told to please hold if the employee is wrapping up a phone call. They just ignored me for 10 minutes while talking.
